Okay, back to work! Take a look at this sativa from Amanda called White Magic. Looks like it was not as strong a strain as she had anticipated.

Name: White Magic
From: Grassroots (Dispensary – San Francisco)
Grade: B
Type: Sativa
Price: $50/8th
Looks: Surprisingly light in color and very sticky.
Smell: The smell of White Magic really startled me. When I broke apart the nugs I could seriously smell sulfur. There is no other way to describe the scent other than sulfur and pine.
Taste: Inexplicably like Vanilla Coke, nothing like how it smelled.
Buzz Type: Relaxed and focused with a very hard comedown.
Buzz Length: Long. 2-3 Hours.
Overall: While the budtender described this as being a sativa, it was not as energetic and uplifting as I had anticipated that it would be. The high was very pleasant and enjoyable but it was not the strain I was looking to smoke while hiking in the woods.
While White Magic left me alert and clear headed, I didn’t want to be moving as much as I wanted to be enjoying was was around me.
It was far from being couch locked but more of a being satisfied with where I am feeling. My body was not over relaxed and neither was my mind at any point after smoking White Magic and it really felt like one of the better strains for working as it actually enhanced my ability to get things done without befuddling my thoughts at any time.
There was not any paranoia and everything seemed much sharper from my vision to smelling to hearing. I was very aware of my surrounding and everything that was going on at every moment.
There was a drawback to White Magic and it was just how hard the comedown was. After a few hours it takes you by surprise and made all of my thoughts fuzzy and I became overwhelmingly tired. The only way to stop from feeling like this was to smoke again. I would have enjoyed White Magic much more if it didn’t leave me feeling like I had been run over by a Mack truck in the end – although that did make for some easy and well rested sleep. –Amanda
Regarding the comedown, sounds like a secret marketing ploy by the grower to get you to smoke more and then have to buy more.

I used to know a horse named White Magic.
@ qdem7e: Race horse?
i hate it when ppl say weed makes you paranoid. crack or meth makes you paranoid. you know crackheads taking apart their tv because they think someone is watching them thats paranoia. some types of weed may make you more alert and at attention but i would not call that paranoia that is feeding into gov. propaganda about the herb.
@herbavore: Check it out. Obviously this was not just weed, it was also a very strange coincidence that made me paranoid, but the herb did not help.
I was driving to Malibu recently at 1:30 in the afternoon. It was very hot out with bright blue skies. I was the lead car in a 15-20 car pack heading up the 405 freeway.
I look in my rear view mirror and every single car behind me has their lights on. All 15-20 of them. Now remember, it’s 1:20 in the afternoon on a very sunny day. I started trippin like wtf, what are they doing? Are they trying to tell me something? Is something wrong with my car? Should my lights be on too?
I got so paranoid that I had to speed up and pass the next group of cars so I could look in my mirror again and check their headlights. Fortunately they were not on. Still not sure wtf was going on. Actually makes me laugh now.
haha thats a funny story i have had strong herb mess with me too but not like that hahha.
I asked the budtender at GrassRoots to show me what they had for Sativa – and he grabbed the OG Kush. He said it was the best Satvia they had at the moment. When I mentioned that Kush is Indica – he said “Well it normally is but this one is Sativa”. So going by what the tender says at GrassRoots might be the problem right there…
@Chubbs – Dude, it sounds like you were at the front of a funeral procession…
@Bill: That was one of my first thoughts but don’t they usually drive in 1 lane? Maybe 2?
This was every car in all 5 lanes.
Lights on during the day is contagious bro. One bad apple can infect the whole freeway.
Thats sounds really weird
looks good but a rough comedown while going for a hike in the woods cant be fun. hope u found a beter sativa for ur next trip
Looks like a killer sativa but i tend to stay away from witchcraft….LMAO!!
No offfence but all fire should b given a B+ and above depending on tolerence the high I believe is what is most important althought bag appeal and smell are nice I think those aspects along with taste should only advance the grade from or lower if it is terrible….I enjoy all your reviews but you tend to grade the bud on how it affects you instead of how good the bud is(meaning does it do its function as pain releif.sativa. hybrid. Etc.
