I came into contact today with someone who does not “believe” in the medicinal uses of marijuana. I could not be anything but dumbfounded. Granted, I needed this person to do a job for me, so I couldn’t really speak my mind. But it just amazes me how people think. You smoke your cigs and drink your wine and your body is affected, right? Even heroin effects the body, albeit in a ridiculously harmful way. So why wouldn’t these beautiful flowers (more natural than anything else out there) be included? I’m sorry. Tangent. I know I’m preaching to the choir. I was just so instantly happy to know that I have this awesome community to rant to

Looks: Known as a pure indica with an oddly soaring sativa like buzz. Huge. These were just huge. You bought almost a whole plant at a time.
Well, the genetics of this strain are very specific and it’s designed to grow in one main stalk with minimal side branching. The nug you see sitting in the full sized mason jar was 18.5 
. What was so great is the main stalk only went up about a 1/3 of the way and didn’t even weigh .5 g which tells you how thin it was. So this was great as usually large stalks like that include a large stem.
This is also an incredibly low yielder, with about 20-24g per plant, so this is not plant for anyone looking to make money, this is one for an experience.
Smell: It is known as the Dutch aroma wonder and I can see why. It really smells like some true Afghani, kind of how Lavender has that almost silky warm overtone to the smell. It has a very earthy tone to it as well that has a cool and sweet finish from the skunk
genetics, but really just this warm, mouth watering smell that makes you want to crawl into the jar and curl up with your nug.
Taste: Warm thick smoke, like you can swish it around in your mouth almost. Mouth numbing that leaves your tongue craving more as it’s so pleasing. It really doesn’t even feel like smoke which is what is so great and makes for such a pleasing experience.
Buzz Type: Rather alarming to even some of the most experienced smokers. It is just a soaring high, that seems to just keep climbing. I mean, you think you’re ripped when you’re done smoking, but wow, it’s like a roller coaster ride.
The strain has been known for producing plants with as much as 29% THC content (as documented by a seizure in the US). This makes sense as the buzz hits right at the prefrontal cortex and scorches it like some really intense concentrates do. It really hit like a fairly powerful concentrate. By far one of the most unique buzzes I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I have a really comfortable full support smoking chair with arm rests and when you’re medicated, it just feels as if you need to grip the armrests and hold on tight because its going to be a wild ride.
Buzz Length: Medium – long…around 2 hrs with very little come down, if any at all.
Overall: Apparently, the grower is one of the only ones today who is still working with the same originating genetics from when he first began his career in the 70s. These apparently originated from 25 females and 25 males and the best were chosen and bred and this was done a few times until the perfect, potent and stout Warlock was created.
It is certainly a treat only as it yields far too little for the benefit to outweigh the cost, but if you have time and are adventurous, I strongly recommend this strain. –m1ke

Actually Heroin is really not harmfull at all only when abused and if your not in severe pain and you use strong opiates you are ABUSING it. Heroin is less deadly than assprin the most harmfull pain pills are those cut with asprin. I have come real familiar with strong opiates over the past four years as my girlfriend is forced to take them while she does her theropy. If it were not for them she wouldn’t be walking so all in all there is a simply amazing use for all drugs marijuana just happens to be one we can abuse like a mofo and the consequenses seem purely financial and if your independetly wealthy it really doesn’t matter but with this said I hope people understand I’m not a self rightous junkie(I’M NOT ON HEROIN AND DON”T THINK YOU SHOULD BE!) just explaining how it saves lives and actually improves lifes.
lol, consider the addictive properties of heroin. it is the most physically addictive substance. that is where the harm comes, but when used medicinally it is carefully administered, but still there is a high likelihood of dependance…
Heroin in fact is a difficult one to compare as it has extremely addictive properties and even when used medicinally, it has quite severe consequences. again, around the topic of addicition.
@twylights – I understand exactly what you mean though, and using the heroin example is a strong way to show how one may need to maintain an open mind.
actually let me correct u m1ke, crystal meth is the most addicting BY FAR lemme tell you. but thankfully thats in the past. but twylights is right, marijuana is a drug….. jus not harmful in any way except to your bank account. and i really hate to say this but i think 75 % or more of mmj users do it for recreational use….. not for any illness or disorder. they do it cuz it makes them feel better about shit. but if the goverment doesnt mind me getting hammered drunk then they shouldnt mind me getting high as a kite either

yes, but there are absolutely no medicinal uses for meth. we were branching off opiates and etc and using heroin as an example. I meant heroin being the worst as in from any substances medicinally administered to us, but there is likely something worse out there.
Doesnt sound like the warlock Im know of, not a low yielding strain when grown under the right conditions, not and uber yielder but not super low either. Nearly pure indica, but with sativa looking leaves. Should have big fat dense buds on it. I havent grown it yet, but I plan on growing it and Rocklock which is WarlockxRockstar in my next run. Most stains have different phenotypes, Im sure your grower just has a specific one and sticks with it, it sounds like a good one too. Low yield but a killer buzz, sometimes its worth the low yield if the end result is above average.

there are other varieties i’m sure though, but this is the warlock that should be. that piece in the jar is one plant without the two side branches it grew as well, but thats the structure what the “warlock” is known to grow like. its very specific apparently the way they worked the genetics so it grows one way.
Yea for sure Mike you seem to have an open mind and to have been around the block as I have myself. On a happier toppic I just got my OG kush #18 seeds and in my UFO(freebie bean pack) I got one Cole Train and one Rocklock! The Rocklock as you know is this strain reviewed here crossed with Rockstar I’m so stoked you have a review of this and a little info on how it grows looks like I will be topping the shit out of it so I don’t just come up with 20 G’s! Great review and the addiction thing I would have to say that all that shit is addictive it just depends on how were wired I like to be more relaxed so meth wasn’t my cup of tea when I was experimenting THANK GOD I might not be here today and alot of my friends have been taken one way or another by their addiction all I can say is burn some herb and have a few with friends every now and again and just maintain a healthy lifestyle.

@twylights: That plant should yield way more than 20 grams if vegged long enough, if you veg her for a good six weeks and have good conditions, proper lighting, temps, ph, all that good stuff then there is no reason why you shouldnt havest a few o’s off of your Rocklock or a Warlock plant for that matter. 20′gs is a bit weak, but that plant could have been vegged for a very short time, or like I said, been a low yielding phenotype the person kept for potency reasons.

I also think that it was tailored for a SOG setup and maybe the plant is just difficult to manage when it gets larger. so possibly thats why it says the yield is so minimal.
Yea I have the right conditions to say the least my room is running about 35% humidity and 78 degrees. Got plenty of airflow with two airking oscilating fan’s,three 1000 watt HPS lamps(HYDROFARM),and two Hydrofarm blower’s. I also have a great A/C unit and dehumidifier firing at all times. It’s expensive to run but deffinitely worth it all in the end!!!
