Looks: Light green tight buds that are very fluffy but break up nicely.
Smell: Fruity. When my wife went to pick this up she said it stunk up the car though the bag. When smoked is reeked. Smells just like burning leaves, weird. Wife complained of the smell.
Taste: Skunky, asphalt, chemical with a little fruit aftertaste.
Buzz Type: Almost a full couch lock. If you are a novice smoker do not plan on doing anything after smoking. Good for body pain.
Buzz Length: Long. 3 hours with slight grouchiness afterwards.
Overall: I liked it a lot. I will definitely be buying some Sweet Island Skunk again. Once you get past the smell, it’s great. It becomes an acquired taste.
Buzz Report: The smoke was pretty harsh. The first time I smoked some I exhaled out my nose and burned the inside of my nostrils pretty bad. –valluco956

at 70 an 1/8 no thank u but it looks ok and the smell seems really nice.
something about the description of the taste that turns me off completely, asphalt + chemical? although i don’t doubt the potential of this strain, that sounds a bit foul.
smell seems to be redeeming though, nothing like some thick strong skunk aroma
word i will have to bring my arizona green tea before smokin some of this stuff
sounds good after a full day of handball(its a ny thing ask about it)

Looks like ass and sounds like the taste is the same, I would try it but thats it. Can’t pay for asphalt or a bud that isn’t flushed….fuckin yuck man!! NO OFFENSE BUD, HE NEEDS A REDO ON THIS STRAIN.

This is one of my favorite strains. I knew a grower in georgia that grew this the size of the buds is incredible very good yielder and very potent as well. Ive had some in the SoCal area that was similar but was not grown with near the tlc my buddy gave it. ANyways sounds fire wish I had some it trully is one of a kind.
By the way it usualy tastes great and looks better, but I can tell just by the color that this is the real deal. Ive been steady smoking for sixteen years in thirteen diferent states and here I am in California not saying I know everything, but I know this much looks can be decieving.

@twylights : couldn’t agree more about looks possibly being deceiving. I smoked some kali mist the other day that looked really shit but was actually amazing. Tasted strongly of hash and knocked me flat for hours. Better than crazy looking purple kush, great white shark, white widow you name it
i had some but it looked better jus overall and tasted good to put it ot u this waay a hlaf joint had me high with 5 heads no lie not fucked up but i was high none the less

Got some “Golden Goat” the other day at my local dispensary! Very intense uppy,speedy heady high! Supposedly mix of Romulan, Sweet Island Skunk, and Hawaaian Sativa,,very fun indeed!! Beautiful red color that almost glows,and very distinct Sativa taste of purple and gold!!
Grew out some of Jay Generation’s S.I.S (N.G.S.C) and it is a top grade smoke, real fine flower. This not some much but yeah, Im sure this is pretty damn good find for texass.
Scuse me “Island Sweet Skunk”… enjoyin some now.
SIS is actually more of a Sativa, with a light Indica feel at the end of the high.
I scored some Island Skunk today from a dispensary here in SD, special buy at $25 an eighth. It’s pretty good stuff. Spot on with the smoke smell, mine hits kinda harsh. I’d call it more of a strong cinnamon flavor.
I need to clarify the above statement…the flavor is that of those hot cinnamon candies that generally are found during x-mas…Hmmm, which means it’d be a great addition to cooking around the holidaze haha

i have this strain and is doesn’t smell skunky at all just sweet.
that shouldnt of taisted chemically @ all, he prob didnt flush it out good enough @ end of harvest. im crossing S.I.SKUNK with kali mist then threw rasberry kush, cant W8 , its going to be great!
I dont know who your buying from but I just bought a 1/4 and payed 60.00 usd. And the smell is awesome as well as the taste. Just thought id let people to know, go through your caregivers and not dispensaries. 140.00 a 1/4 is out ragous. The high is slight heady with some great bodies. I dont know about couch locked I went and got some starbucks, and came home and watched some Dexter… Anyways, never posted here be4 but from now on I think ill keep some of these prices in check. If you pay more than 35.00 a 1/8th then your paying for someone elses “BS.” So dont do it. And, if they got plants in your name, I have 12 myself, then you better be getting kick downs like free hash, or a free ounce a month…

I smoked this strain at The New Amsterdam Cafe in Vancouver, BC a few years back, pretty nice sativa but nothing too special, I paid $25 for an 8th in BC, I can’t believe you paid 70 for an 8th OUCH! that stings……
wow that price is insane even for top strains. that looks generic at best. thats the weirdest smell/taste description ive read so far.
