Looks: Incredible, shimmering in any light. The trichs are so mature with long stalks and mature full tops. They are so nice and clear all the way through, just the perfect stage hinting that its going to be a nice and clear, cerebral buzz. The most mature buds I have have hints of purple throughout them.
I had a friend come over with her 4mp camera, which didn’t prove to be much better than the pda camera I was using, but it was much better at picking up the surrounding light.
Smell: Incredible as all wicked herb does. It has such a soft sweet smell that tingles, like a spice, upper part of my nose when you take a nice big whiff.
It has a clean, crisp, almost woodsy sweetness to it. When they were cracked, let’s just say they didn’t last long enough to spend too much time smelling it 
Taste: Makes me wish that so much of it wasn’t destroyed in the combustion process.
It’s incredible in the bong. The tip of my tongue feels like I dipped it in sugar candy briefly as the smoke passes by when clearing.
Buzz Type: Following the tip of the tongue sweetness is like an anesthetic almost numbing my tongue then face. Oddly for a sativa, which to me is a sign of a very potent one.
It gives you a quick full body zap then it feels like someone has placed a lead cloth over my face. It’s funny as you get this instant jolt of energy then are gently reminded of what you just did. Very clear and cerebral buzz that immediately brought on euphoric feelings with increased sensitivity to lights and sounds.
Buzz Length: Long. A solid 2 1/2+ hrs with clarity throughout. The come down, well there is none.
Overall: Definitely one of the better sativas to come my way since my last batch of Durban Poison (wish I had a camera then) which I never felt I would see anything close again (still haven’t). This strain leaves you feeling calm and relaxed for a long while after making this a very manageable daily strain. –m1ke

Excellent call on the Durban Poison. Hands down the best sativa in the world. I love the speedy, heady effect of that strain. If I had to pick one strain to smoke the rest of my life I would choose Durban Poison. I have some seeds stashed, and definitely going to make it my next grow.

Congrats on becoming an editor. I just sent a review of this in about 3 days ago so it’ll be a while before it makes it up. This is definitly a different pheno than I have, mine too, is a little more dense and more of an earthy flavor for sure. Looks like yours is more hazy and mine is more on the indica side. I think I would like your version better. Nice review.
thanks and yeah, definitely more on the hazy side of things, i would suspect the same as it does exhibit sativa dominant characteristics both in the euphoric energy of the buzz to the growth of the buds

Yea, thats always a possibility nowadays, but it could be an odd pheno, I looked at all the reviews on this today and they all seem a little different, I’m not positive the one I have is the real deal now!
sick reviews m1ke! this definitely shows the silver in silver haze. this is a bit of a noobie question i suppose, but any idea what makes a bud “super”? aka. super silver haze, super diesel, super skunk, and super kush are all strains I am familiar with, but have no idea what makes them “super”. is it related to their genetics? or is it just another marketing scheme?

@heavy – i believe, like with this strain, it was just the name it was given, likely while the guy who grew it just got slapped in the face by it and was like, “damn, this is super”. hahah, only thing i can really thing of.
@wheezer – its so unfortunate we can’t get verified genetics all the time, even then, who is it verified by? I would say in california, you guys are the luckiest or likeliest to get some legitimate from dispensaries, but even then, is the dispensary reputable?

Been saving some of this, since I haven’t smoked in 20+ years and they said this (and Chemdog) were 2 seriously powerful strains. Yep. Wound up doing *too much* (3 hits) of both. The SSH was a very up high…but I still needed to lay down for awhile until I found my brain. The Dog was similar, but more of a *down*. Did *1* hit of SSH today, and I feel great. 3 freaked me out.
Theirs not too many good sativas around anymore but SSH is definatly some of the craziest bud i have ever vaped, awsome review.
Love this strain. Has anyone heard of it being mentioned as amnesia haze? Same genetics but different seed company is what I have read. This really makes you want to go out and do things and your mind races. I love the high because it seems like you level off in the first 15 min but then you realize that you are getting higher until it peaks to a solid high 45 min in.
This looks just like the Silver Haze I used to get back in high school… Shocking I even remember that. Smoked on the Silver for a good while back then, was always a great high for boarding around the hills near my house. Good memories

This looks like a really solid local grow. I always prefer when the buds don’t get passed around too much from grower to smoker.
With supposed Ca bud around here, it’s like when you’re hooking up with a sorority girl. You know she’s been passed through at least a dozen people before she got to you.

Man that looks nice, I can almost smell it from here. I’ve gotten Super Silver Haze in NYC. Sometimes ppl just throw names around, but this stuff was the real thing, looked just like that.
