Okay I admit it, I am not 100% sure where S. Ontario Canada is. But after having read this Strawberry Jab review from Mel Topps, you can bet I’ll be checking out google maps right away!
Submitted By: Mel Topps (Member)
Name: Strawberry Jab
From: Canada Medical Co-Op (Canadian Dispensary – Southern Ontario)
Grade: A+
Type: Hybrid
Price: $8(cnd)/G
Looks: Gorgeous, plump buds with vibrant orange pistils protruding from fat, uniform calyxs enveloped by a syrupy coating of resin.
Smell: Ultra sweet like strawberry jam and honey.
Taste: Very complex flavor that is reminiscent of a tropical smoothie.
Buzz Type: Warm, calm and euphoric. The tropical flavors could cause you to underestimate the powerful stone Strawberry Jab induces.
Buzz Length: Very long.
Overall: I felt very fortunate when I first discovered Strawberry Jab variety last fall and am very appreciative for the consistent supply. Since that time it has become a staple in my herbal consumption. This bud is great for mixing with anything, though I find it incredibly delightful on it’s own. If only I could give my compliments to the chef. –Mel Topps.
I love bud that has any sort of strawberry flavor. Goes back to the first time I tried Strawberry Cough and was just amazed at the flavor. –Chubbs
Isis – A great hybrid that hits hard.
Bubblegum Haze – One of the juiciest buds ever.
G13 x Hash Plant – An interesting combination.
Silver Bubble – A definite must for a professional.

Hairs look crazy on it.
And the taste sounds incredible.
Great review.
Looks incredible Melitta, Seems like for a hybrid it is definitely on the sativa side. Any ideas on the genetics?
Speechless.
Herb looks very gooey … Nice review.
I wish my California doctor recommendation was valid in Canada. I’ve seen some nice looking buds from up north.
Duplicity: Man would that ROCK or what! Being able to fly back and forth and use the same recommendation in both countries. Fuhgedaboudit!
I appreciate the kind words and interest.
As far as the genetics are concerned I would surmise it has Strawberry cough lineage but that’s purely speculative. I’ll do my best to find out more information on this strain.
To my medicinal cannabis using brethren down south: I’ve heard of a few instances of people with prop 215 exemptions obtaining their meds through Canadian co-ops when they were traveling in the country, so it’s definitely feasible.
Mel Topps: I’m guessing Strawberry Cough as well.
Out of curiousity, do the Canadian co-ops sell bubble hash/ear wax?
Chubbs: Yes they usually have a few varieties of hash, hash oils and budder (whipped BHO) available. I’ll be sure to submit some reviews of the varieties I encounter.
Mel Topps: Nice. If it’s anything like the bud you have been reviewing I cannot wait!
Haha.. I love Ontario. Those buds look fabulous.
cool bud… but A+?? how is everything you smoke an A+??? this stuff looks like ok strawb cough. just on a crusade for honesty, as other reviewers seem to be.
Thanks for the replies,
Rodney: Fair question, I realize all grading is subjective and I graded this A+ because it exceeds all of my expectations. Perhaps compared to the bud that you get it is only mediocre but by my standards this strain is stellar and deserving of it’s A+.
Also, it would be wrong to assume that I even write reviews on all of the strains I use.
Just looking at it looks sweet and makes me wanna smoke a gram of it. I’d definitely buy some weight of this.
@kjclolz: +1
If I ever see this on a menu I’ll empty my pockets buying as much as I can.
ive had the pleasure of trying this strain here in winnipeg. if i still have pictures ill do a review, looks very similar
I am growing strawberry ice right now looks similar but hairs are white hrmmm????
Well the pistils will be white until later in flowering. How far a long is it?
Strawberry ice sounds like an intriguing hybrid.
Shes almost two months and the hairs are actually starting to turn orange!!!! Can’t wait she is a beauty
CHUBBS: come to Canada buddeh! Southern Ontario Consists of the southern part of my/Melitta’s Province Cities include Anything in the Greater Toronto Area(Vaughn, Missisauga, Richmond Hills, Flambourough, ect.) As well as Hamilton, Kingston and some of the Communities surrounding the 2. Go to Toronto, the police are pretty lax there I’ve walked by a cop in a gasmask while toking, he just kept directing traffic.Go to the Toronto Compassion Centre Score some buddah roll on over to the CN tower and have yourself a long HIGH ride up.
@Cannabis Cannuck: I gotta be honest, I HATE cold weather and I am wrapped up this summer with NUGGETRY SD.
I have heard nothing but good things about the scene in Toronto and you can bet I will be checking it out next summer.
