Looks: Very nice. Nicely dusted with trichs and a few orange hairs as well.
Smell: Skunky and sour. Very, very nice.
Taste: It had an incredibly familiar sour taste to it. I can’t quite place my finger on it. Very nice though.
Buzz Type: Very high. Everything is somewhat dreamlike but you’re not mentally clouded. There’s just a hint of heaviness.
Buzz Length: Moderate. Couple of hours on a decent bowl.
Overall: The smoke is incredibly smooth. Huge, thick hits without any coughing. A couple of bucks more than most of my usual strains, but I’ll buy again.
Buzz Report: This one was a bit of a creeper. Had light sensations after I was done smoking but it felt very weak. A few minutes later, as I was cursing the dispensary for selling me bunk, it started to hit me. I was extremely pleased with it. Slight paranoia, but nothing too bad. This is a very nice strain and it seems as though I got another great hit from the Herbal Discount Center in Long Beach.

Nice review, sour d is kinda a common strain where I’m from and everytime I’ve smoked it I was always pleased, one time I got it and it was extremely sticky it stuck to anything it came in contact with.
Very good bud, last time I had this I remember grubbing on some sour punch straws and playing Call Of Duty all night haha.

And thanks, SantaCruz. It has served me well. Best grinder I’ve had, and it was only about 12 bucks from the local smoke shop. Collects just the right amount of kief, and I can grind the bud as fine or as chunky as I want.
the reason this website is ridiculous and misleading is that any idiot can turn great genetics into terrible weed while any master can turn bad genetics into decent weed. so i could get a sour diesel clone and grow it under poor conditions and produce bad weed, even though it was a true sour diesel clone. conversely, i could take terrible genetics and produce good weed (and yes i can, bet me) by growing it in an ideal environment. plus, any grower can call his crop anything. so names mean nothing because, unfortunately, human beings are greedy and lie to perpetuate their agendas. so, my fellow viewers of this site, please take EVERYTHING you see here and at your dealer’s pad with a grain of salt. don’t worry about indoor or outdoor or weather its called og kush or fried grandma’s feet. LOOK AT IT, SMELL IT, SMOKE IT. good weed is good weed. period. do not allow yourself to fall victim to bullshit.
Did you just say? “any master can turn bad genetics into decent weed”. I would have to say your on crack and maybe you should be reviewing Crack and Crack related products. It would take vast knowledge and several generations to turn Bad genetics to good. As far as names of strains go. It is important to keep track of genetics whenever possible, that is where the names come in kinda handy .If you don’t name them how would you know what worked and what didn’t. Your conversations would sound like This. ” hey lets breed that kinda shitty plant with that really good plant and maybe we can call it “kinda shitty good”.. Then we will cross that with a really great strain and call it “Kinda Great shitty good” I would rather have some sort of idea as to genetics by hearing the name. For example: If I heard “Grandma’s Kush I might figure it to be a cross between O.G. Kush and fried Grandma’s feet. As far as your “Look at it, Smell it, Taste it” bullshit, there are people who at the very least want to know if it is a Sativa Or a Indica. For Lots of reasons that you couldn’t even understand. you are talking about ideal growing conditions, that is what the purpose of indoor growing is supposed to do. every buy a plant for your household from a greenhouse or even hear of one? they are quite common.
as well, genetics are the most important part of the strain. yes, you can grow indecdible genetics completely wrong and end up with a terrible product and with the ideal conditions it will thrive. that is all common sense my friend. and no, you cannot take terrible genetics and produce high quality cannabis. you may yield more or a higher quality product of that strain (key, it is only a product of the originating strain), but if you have a mut of a seed, unless you cross out everything over years then maybe. maybe. please don’t ever post here again. thank you
by the way, the purpose of the pictures, named by their owners of course is so that you can look at them and compare them with others. Most of the strains on this website are quite legitimate and someone with vast knowledge through experience could easily identiify certain traits between different strains visually

i’ve never perceived this site as a professional review site although this site has provided me with much education being a newer patient. it’s average people just sharing “average” information about their buds. that’s why reviews are all over the place and the fact it it should be. it’s great the see what kind of buds people are getting out there with the hundreds and hundreds of collectives out there as well as seeing the wide variety of price ranges.

Mike I bought the digital Vaporite Vaporizer on E-bay . Do a search on E-bay for vaporizer you will see one that is by Vaporite that comes with a sharpstone grinder! Combo deal was $95.00 includes shipping. I got it yesterday and I LOVE it! I set it for a temp and when it hits that temp the fan comes on and it starts gently blowing the vapor out ! Hands free! I plan on reviewing it and the grinder after I use them for a little while.
@Elandur/GhostGuy – I hear ya. I’ve paid $22 for a gram in the past but it would have to be some crazy amazing and rare strain for me to pay more than $20 for a gram nowadays.

I totally disagree with the “critic”. This website has helped me to pick and chose what may work for me as far as names gone. For example, I am a medical user and hadn’t smoked in probably 12 or more years when I got my card. I had no idea about strains back in the day it was either dirt weed, good,green or KGB. I get my card and go to the dispensery and ask for the strongest strain. Not indica or sativa just “what’s the strongest”. I get “Grape Ape”. It’s great but I can’t do shit other than watch TV on it. I go out again and try something else this time “Grandaddy Purple” with the same results. It’s so bad that I can’t smoke more than 1 hit or I’m too tired for work the next day. I’m almost ready to give up. After finding this site I started with other strains that have more energetic high like J1 and SuperDog (Chemdawg and SSH) which work really well for me. Anyone has to take things with a grain of salt but it’s not just the info it’s also fun to see what everyone else is toking on and their opinions. It’s enjoyable to say the least and I thank the person in charge of this site for taking my mind of negative shit and letting me enjoy weed porn. Keep up the goog work!

We must have a different strain of SD. Ours looks identical, but it definitely makes you cough. Not a lot, I don’t want to exaggerate. But there is some coughing involved, even for moderate smokers.

dude u may be able to take one strain of shitty weed or schwag and improve it a little with growing conditions genetics etc but in order to improve it to A or even B rating u need to upgrade that shit so many times its its own different strain at that point and vice versa… so its rare to recieve a post so out of the normal about a great or terrible strain, sure some mediocre ones may go up or down a grade but thats about it
and thats my reason why this site isnt as “misleading” as A CRITIC implied

I’ve been getting SD for about the last 6 months and I’m one happy smoker. In Portland it goes for about $240-300 an ounce. The last bag I brought home apparently funked up the house. I store in glass in my shed now. bwah
Dark green, sticky, some red/orangish hairs and the buds I get are pretty long. Burns easy and long and it produces a lot of smoke. Very little coughing if any with the stuff I get. Definitely a little sour tang to it… I think it’s 90% Sativa, which is great for conversations, movies, games and so forth. A great strain for an indoor grow.
