Just when I thought I’d seen or heard of just about all the unique marijuana strain names, Amanda surprises me with a review of a strain called Sex.

Looks: Large dark green buds with orange hairs.
Smell: Pine, peppery.
Taste: Semi-harsh, peppery taste almost like those Mexican lollipops with the chill powder in it.
Buzz Type: Creeper, Couch Lock.
Buzz Length: Short. 1-2 Hours
Overall: Sadly, I do not have much to say about Sex as the high was pretty stereotypical of a strong indica. I was very relaxed, without being immediately overpowered. As the high gradually increased I became so relaxed that it was hard to fight off sleep.
I would not recommend Sex for smoking and attempting to do anything, but merely smoking this to help wit chronic insomnia. It is an excellent sedative strain and really put me right out. When I did remain awake after smoking some Sex I became irritable because quite frankly, I would rather have been sleeping.
Not sure it was worth the price, but definitely a great stone if you have a very strong and stubborn case of insomnia. –Amanda
With a name like Sex, personally I’d expect a nice strong sativa that really puts you in the mood. Instead in sounds like it is just the opposite? Go figure. –Chubbs

Yea, the names of strains especially in Cali and Canada have gotten out of hand. Breeders work there ass off to stabilize strains and find certain qualities then someone grows it out and names it something stupid like this just for marketing and profit. Wish it could have been a better smoke Amanda.
