I’ve owned a few RooR’s and I must say, they seem to just feel better. A buddy of mine once made this analogy when referring to the quality/effectiveness of a RooR. “You can kill someone with a .22 caliber handgun. But you are going to look and feel a lot cooler if you shoot him with a .44 Magnum.”

Make/Model: RooR Straight Tube
Height: 24 Inches
Tube Thickness and Bore: 4.2mm x 50mm
Base Thickness: 2.5mm
Average Retail Price: $300-350
Grade: B
Comments: The RooR Two Foot Straight Tube epitomizes what most are looking for in a larger sized straight tube. It’s straightforward design and flawless construction make it a great daily driver for the smoker with tough lungs.
It does not come diffused, a serious flaw in my opinion, though one from RooR can typically be purchased for $20-30. –trikky
Of the 2 tubes you have reviewed so far the Illadelph and the RooR, I’d say I prefer the RooR. But it would have to be diffused. –Chubbs

best bong ever made. go for the diffuser – it’s worth it! And make sure you get one with the holes as close together as possible for maximum percolation. total BS that they don’t come standard but what are you gonna do? thanks for the reviews trikky!
smoke_weed: lol @ “Maximum Percolation”. Sounds like the name of a cheesy Steven Segal movie.
nice looks good to smoke out of.
i just bought one of those but mine has more of an S shaped signature, what is the difference?
as far as i know, each legit roor bong has a unique signature. it might be the same design(not sure), but it will never be the exact same look or location. they’re not stamped on. each sig is done by hand. i have an icemaster 5.0 with diffuser. my sig is right between the 2 icecatchers in the front. a wiggly, white little snake with a big round head and 2 blue dots next to the body.
lol@ maximum percolation. that’s absolutely classic
my buddy has a 6′ straight tube
As far as I am concerned there are much better fixed stem designs out there in the $300-350 range, that make Roor seem a little outdated. Check out the SYN Full Size Showercap or the Name Brand Glass 19′ Circulator both have wicked fixed stem designs that allow for maxium diffusion, way better than any Roor I have ever seen and very thick high grade glass from the US too. Fat Mike is killing stuff with SYN and Name Brand is an up am upcoming tube out of Philly. Even the Syn 8-arm beaker for $310 is way better than the Roor Dealer’s Cup. Thick glass, awesome joints, and highly innovative diffusion designs. Top notch stuff, drop the Roor and Illadelph fixation, and try something with a truely innovative design and top notch construction.
As of a few days ago, I told myself I was setting a few Benji’s aside each paycheck because I had my sights set on either the Volcano Vaporizer (digital – $669), or the ROOR Custom White Lines ($788).
I was really leaning towards the Volcano, but after asking a good handful of friends, the vast majority voted for the ROOR. I’m assuming not only because of the name ROOR, but for the fact that everyone I showed the picture of it to, couldn’t stop drooling.
Still stuck on my two options. Do I dare choose a better healthy smoke? Or one that will knock me straight in the face? haha – Decisions, decisions, decisions…
sweet piece there. all labelled with a nice sig. looks like another purchase of a roor before places(or the company themselves) started making diffusers standard. owell ROOR FTW
