I had a friend a while back grow some Romulan that absolutely kicked my butt. I always thought that it was an underrated strain. Turns out Vaporizer feels the same way. You know what they say Vape, “great minds..”

Looks: Dense medium sized nugs covered in trichs. Medium green with hints of soft light brown.
Smell: Very distinct aroma. Hint of fresh cut herbs and pepper.
Taste: The taste is a mix of pine with a slight wood finish.
Buzz Type: All around body + head high.
Buzz Length: Long. 2-3 hours.
Overall: I love hitting my vaporizer at the perfect temp with some Romulan. The vapor is nice and thick, flavor is preserved. 0.2g’s can get anywhere between 15 – 25 hit out of my vape. I think Romulan is an underrated strain. Should be getting more love from the marijuana community. –Vaporizer

I luuuuurve me some Romulan. Oh my goodness, it’s like one of god’s green little miracles. This one’s a household favorite. I’ve got a nice bowl of Romulan mixed with Nirvana going right now and it is mighty fine, if I do say so myself.

@kjclolz, i just scored some of this through a delivery service in NYC, it was hella expensive but totally worth it, if you live in that area i’d look into it
I’m in the Queens area but I did hear about a delivery service in the city (although they’re overpriced from what I heard). I wouldn’t mind buying an 1/8th or a 1/4 cause this is one of those “must smoke” buds. Just looking at it makes my mouth water for a good bowl hit.

I think the reason some strains are underated name is because some dispensories carry crap varieties of certain strains. Like the Jack Herer at the fair fax farm kills the jack herer at delta9 in Torrance. I think when a weak ass plant is grown it should allways be made into butter or some crap like that keep the bad off the shelf especially the TOP ONE!

I just picked up some Romulan last night from Downtown Kush Lounge as well as a gram of OGBubba Hash. I first tried the Romulan without the hash and it was dank! I immiediately felt the effects begining at my head but then working its way down my body. I got a crystal clear headbuzz and could feel everything. I felt extremely euphoric. I agree this strain deserves much more love from the Marijuana community. If i had to say a strain that causes the similar effects perhaps Hindu Skunk(s). Both are highly recommendable. I then smoked the hash on top of the Romulan and i was lit. One of the most intense body highs. Great for movie night ..or late nights with your bootycall

i definitely agree with twylights…just because you got the strain doesnt mean that it is going to be dank…you have to shop around every dispensary is different most suck some are good …you just have to find them.

I’m a little confused…I thought romulan was sativa dom.I read somewhere it was an old cali haze hybrid…I’m growing some now and it sure doesn’t look 99% indica to me???
Romulan is a Sativa dominant strain that was created in BC. It is from Korean and Columbian genetics both of which are sativa dom but because of canada’s short growing season the shortest/fastest flowering phenos were always selected. So romulan is a sativa dom hybrid that has indica growth patterns.
out here in the midwest this stuff seems to come around sometimes a lot, but this bud i think is the best when its crossed with another stronger strain. romulan is good, but im not a fan of the spicy/harsh taste. it gets you there, but not pleasantly for me. the best romulan i ever had was pineapple romulan and romulan diesel, try those if you can!

Romulan if grown right and a good strain is a go to sleep kick any pains ass Weed!!! grown it a few times that was about 8 yrs ago mine was very sativa grew tall very skinny branches and hardly any leaves..the strawberry cough that i got growing right now reminds me alot of my romulan…White widows good when ur sick with a fever a good bong rip will and you’ll sweat that fever right out at least the widow i grew did i used to call my widow SWEATER cuz u’d break a sweat every bong hit….
The Berkeley / Oakland Romulan I had – the great stuff that was going around about 2 years ago – was so strong I couldnt smoke it. I took one bong hit and puked. It was so intense. After that, I just smiled and waved it on when it got passed around and that smell hit me. It was insanely expensive, around $60 per 1/8th up to like 3600 a lbs. Much like GDP, I couldnt get behind the Romulan, only for different reasons, I thought the GDP over-rated, and the Romulan was so under-rated I told people it should come with a warning sticker.
I’m confused, I’ve read that the Rom is Sativa dominent, its mistaken for indica alot,then I read its indica dominent…this is from hightimes, and the first one i read was an interview with Romulan Joe(the breeder of the strain, n he says Sativa)maybe I’m just crazy…will pull out my Hightimes, n check them out, but I remember what I read pretty well…
SensiStudent got it right. True Rom is mostly sativa. Grown in BC for years they kept picking the quickest finishers every season and crossed them on in over and over until it finished quick and took on some other indica traits as well. Enough so that it has fooled many a smokers over the years after looking at it and even after smoking it. The super strong pungent Rom(that will make some puke with a big bong rip!), is this one pheno that is the smallest yielding Rom out there I think. I have seen a six foot plant only yield less than an ounce and a half!, but this is some of the most funky pungent greasy bud out there! IMHO anyways. Over ripe and rotten fruits, sweet and sour weirdness. A spiciness that makes your whole olfactory center light up. The taste and smell of real good Rom is hard to explain in words, but if you have smelled it then you know what it smells like and won’t soon forget. I guess what I’m saying is it has it’s own smell and it is damn good! Some like it and some don’t, but the ones who have smoked it can’t deny how strong a well grown/dried/cured Rom is as far as shear strength is concerned, and that is saying a lot when it is a sativa dom strain being held up to some super strong indicas. Smoke in and Peace out!
shit thats sum of the best smoke out there i put it up there with Black Dom and the Old Blue DOT we used to get in Oakland the one that had the upstairs balcony that u could go outside and smoke afew yrs ago Sure wish i could find sum of that old blue dot..Romy grows like tall twigs very very skinny not much leaf at all buds were long colas tasted piny kinda like WW but no sweating LOL,,and let her go the full 55 or 60 days,,,But that was 5 to 7 yrs ago have no idea what Romys like Now???got mine as a clone in oakland..

ive never had the problem mistaking romulan as a indo. Havent tried any n a few yrs, will add to list. On some maui dog now.
