Damn, that is purple!
i wanna smoke something as purple as this!
Unholy crap man!!! This what I’m talking about, very nice man and good review. Sounds like something that would work wonderfully for pain, DAMN!!!
The orange hairs really compliment the purple of the bud. Looks great and sounds great.
WHERE CAN I BUY THOSE SEEDS?
mmmm nice colors and fruity pepples!
I wish smokers understood that the color purple is a stress response, generally produced by cold. Obviously some strains have a genetic predisposition for this coloration and the medicinal market reflects a predilection for these genetics. But if you purchase a strain like purple granddad and it is green and not purple, it does not change the quality of the high one iota. The color is all about aesthetics, not thc content or buzz quality. The look of a bud is important, but not so much the deep purple color. I wish the customer base were more interested in taste which is generally a better indicator of the plants care during cultivation.
It would also be nice for the medicinal movement for more quality control in terms of what is and what is not considered organic. I know a number of reportedly reputable growers who hit their crops with pesticides in full flower and don’t think twice about calling it ‘organic’.
@gristlegrower: Agree 100% on the pesticides. Kind of defeats the whole purpose imo.
this stuff is great and my friends don’t mind the price cause when you take your first hit the aroma and taste makes every cent you spent worth it, it’s a must have!
@ak47ugo: I know what you mean about money well spent. Nothing better than high quality herb.
I must say that I’ve seen a lot of purple kush in my neighborhood. So far, I’m very unimpressed; it seems very weak? Maybe the batch has been grown poorly, but it looks just like that; very purple.
dude that is some dank bud
Being from MI, id have to say that is some awesome bud and a great review… i jus wish i had your dealer =p
haha
those buds look like grand daddy purple buds. not all purple kush are purple.
Awesome.I want some.
I personaly have not seen any purple kush this purple. Looks like some grape ape I saw the other day great review.
I was kinda thinking that those buds were that purple BECAUSE they were grown in michigan, colder climate perhaps? early fall harvest? But yeah, like Gristlegrower was saying, for the most part the purple colors are from cooler weather towards the end of flowereing, from my own expeirince. I’ve grown granddaddy purple in the summer and the buds were barley purple, took some of the same seeds later in the year, grew another batch and they flowered late october and they were dark purple after a couple of frosts.
