I’ve been smoking a lot of Kush lately and Pre 98 Bubba Kush from Delta 9 is damn good marijuana.
From: Delta 9 (Dispensary)
Grade: A
Type: Indica
Price: $20/G, $55/8th
Looks: Awesome. Tight little lime green nuggets.
Smell: Very good. Definitely a good Kush strain.
Taste: Very "Kushy" if you know what I mean.
Buzz Type: Immediate kick in the forehead. Love it!
Buzz Length: Long. I was pretty high all morning after hitting one fat bowl.
Overall: Top shelf bud from a top shelf dispensary.
Buzz Report: Woke up last Saturday, toked a fat bowl and ate like a champ. Sat back with a killer buzz, a full belly and watched old school cartoons on Boomerang Network. Very stoney morning. –Chubbs

This is probably one of the best strains I’ve ever smoked. Love the taste and smell ^^.
WOW!!! This is for sure a heavy hitter no joke!!It represents A kick you in the head indica that has so many wonderful qualities. It has a great heavy high no matter what your tolerance is and comes with a mild case of the giggles. The taste and smell are insane this one has got to be one of the best!!
had this among 4 other strains with some friends yesterday
have to say it was a great contributor
Smoked this with a friend today have to say I got pretty high and giggled like a faggot in a gay bar riding a poll

Hey Chubbs, can you breakdown differences between pre 98 and current bubba kush? looks, smell, taste etc?
romn, I have smoked regular bubba kush from a private dealer and based on this review, the taste is pretty similar, the smell is very similar, and maybe my dealer actually got pre 98 but, they seem almost the same
this bud looks like the real deal from the original clone genetics…been looking for the clone. Too many people claim to have a cutting from the original clone. From what I understand, this clone comes at a high price…I read someone paid 20K for the clone in one of my textbooks, with THC levels at 28%. Anyway, if this is the “real clone” product from the original Bubba Kush, it’s worth the price if you can find it. Have it tested before you pay a large amount of money for a clone.
an old HC farmer
one hit R.I.P.
im not sure how someone is suppose to determine the difference between pre 98 bubba and any other kush based on this review..in other words smells kushy and tastes kushy doesnt satisfy me description wise..
@weed at its best- how would would know if the bud your smoking is pre 98? almost every kush smells like kush and tastes like it
@nycdgrower: Bubba has a very distinct taste/smell.
As far as how you know if it’s “Pre 98″ or not I have no idea.

I honestly believe that the pre 98 bubba is just a gimmick to get people to pay more for it, solely based on it’s name. The name makes people think that they are smoking an original strain, but it’s just a good bubba kush strain that could possibly date back to pre 98. I think that new bubba kush hybrids are just as good if not better.
doesnt look as dank and purple as the other review on the site, but still a nice bright green
I’m growing some killer p98 bubba kush…. Need help to understand something.. this is my first grow and i am wondering what the best nutrients to give these lovely ladies.
Oh and i am wondering. when do i clone.???
@torchie – Might be a good idea to post this question on the forum.

From what ive seen and smoked Pre 98 seems fruitier/sweet n soury smelling/tasting than later BK. Later BK’s look and taste like might have been crossed with some other kind of kush like lemon or OG. Anybody know the lineage of pre 98 and post 98 bubba kush?
Wish I had
good stuff mild taste good head change love it
Got a clone from an oldtimer he said it was 98 been looking for that kind or type all over the place and i think i found it…mine has fat leaves and is VERY VERY Stinky.Would like some more info on Pre 98
98 is almost non existent.. but still exists. If let vegged for 7 weeks and pre flowered at 15 hrs for a week it can produce roughly 2-3 oz. More of a connoisseur strain. It looks like bart simpson hair. A very easy trim. It flavor is sage like. The nugs are rock like, super coated, and grow to the size of jawbreakers. True 98 is far superior then its recent counterparts..
