With there being so many different kinds of OG Kush around now I had no idea what to expect from Apothery 420’s Platinum OG Kush. Just like the rest of their top shelf marijuana, it kicked ass.

Looks: Great. Very tight nugs with thick dark orange hairs.
Smell: Danky! Strong Kush smell that is very overpowering.
Taste: Smooth. Smoke expands big time.
Buzz Type: Heavy, red eye buzz hits you right away.
Buzz Length: Medium. Good buzz that I wish had lasted longer.
Overall: A strong Kush that hit you right away. Immediate forehead sweat.
Buzz Report: Pulled a wake-n-bake with some Platinum OG Kush. Mistake! I woke up at 7am, was WAY BAKED by 7:30 and back asleep by 8:00. Hit me hard as hell. –Chubbs
Very oppresive smell. Tastes Like a skunk sprayed in your mouth. Great buzz head and body with a slight numbing effect. Wish it lasted a bit longer but which one is rated as lasts long enough?

Nice eastcoast review Jose. The only thing good in cAli is the weed. That’s it. And that being said. Being a native Bostonian. I have yet to score a bag here in SoCal that has pugnent dank properties as an eastcoast nicely cured strain. The eastcoast knows how to keep bud potent and dank. I miss that.

agreed, but having lived in both new york and boston i think that they are both comparable, and @bigsmoke: i think it is actually most westcoasters who are “full of it” as you said. you dont hear eastcoasters bragging about their “superior” weed or going on about how cheap they pay. don’t forget its not LEGAL in NY like it is in Cali.
The only reason that the west coast has better weed than back east is because of the Medical Marijuana Laws, California has one of the most relaxed MMJ policies and the most dispensaries out of any state, so it’s obvious that you guys have better weed more consistently. Once MMJ becomes nation wide thing you will see the same quality across the country.
Living in L.A. I have a wide choice of bud and places to buy it. Platinum OG is one of the best strains I have ever smoked. That being said, if you are paying $80 for a 1/8, you’re over-paying! Where I shop I get a 4.5g 1/8 for $60. Well worth the money!
@Jeff, well you must have bad hooks. All the herb i get is grade A and nothing less. SoCal is waay overpriced and im not really a fan of the locals(nothing personal SoCal ppl,its just almost every dude i meet from SoCal is full of them selfs and full of shit).

Im at school in Boston but live in LA, I pay relatively high prices in Boston but I get only LA strains of nug. We have matched the LA quality, still need to figure out how to get the variety here!
CA had the best weed prior to prop 215(medical Marijuana law) passing. Look it up in Hightimes or any other weed mag. There is a little place in Nor Cal called the Emeraled Triangle. Humboldt County ever hear of it? I went to college at Humboldt state and there is weed everywhere. You can literaly throw some seeds on the ground in a sunny spot and come back in 4-5 months and have a full crop of perfect herb. The climate and soil is perfect for growing weed. I am a SoCal native and the people change from county to county. LA and OC have some of the worst people alive. But there is also plenty of cool people. Same as NY.
OG kush is a really awesome strain. Get’s your eyes droopy after the first hit and keep you comfortably high for a long time. It’s also available almost everywhere these days, and it’s no surprise why everyone wanted to share this strain.

OG kush! pretty much every strain ive ever tried with any OG is the shit! includin this platinum OG which is definitely is indica dominant, but sumtimes they mix it wit sativa.. weed is the best in my beautiful state of california hands down, not becuz of any laws just because the weather conditions r perfect 4 growing dank buds pretty much throughout the whole state

The back and forth between east and west having better weed is bs. It all depends on how much love you give your plants on how they turn out. Most of the herb on the east coast is shipped there from the west coast via UPS and FedEx by people like me. So the bomb you are smoking is probably Cali grown. we do have the best outdoor in the world but with such good indoor who smokes outdoor but highschool kids.

The prices on this site are club prices, they rob people at the club it is a business thats how they make $$$ and by not paying the grower a fair price.
i have a platinum og outdoors started from seed thats about 6 ft tall w/ about 2 months of veg time left. she has the widest leaves ive ever seen. i think shes indica dom.
I smoked a half of Platinum OG Kush before. It’s good bud, but I agree with the original poster that the weed buzz was way too short lived. The OG Kush hits you real hard while your smoking but fades away almost just as quickly as it came. But I like the OG Kush because it has a subtle relaxing buzz, not an “I’m smacked right now” overwhelming high. I prefer Grand Master Kush to Platinum. Grand Master Kush and Purple Kush that I cop in Frisco is always so much dankier than the OG Kush. One Swisher of Grand Master Kush has me lifted all day instead of one hour.
