Looks: Nice crunchy nugs. A slight fluff.
Smell: Very bright and fruity.
Taste: A great pineapple finish. Like a just picked fruit salad.
Buzz Type: Uplifting cerebral high.
Buzz Length: Long.
Overall: My close buddy hooked me up with a nice batch of some Pineapple Express. With the success of the blockbuster movie, he decided to name his genetic project Pineapple Express. And boy, it is lovely!
The genetics are awesome and the high is very uplifting. Definitely more sativa than indica.

Nice review. I just finished my eighth of Pineapple Express from a club in Long Beach and I thought it was okay but nothing special. It wasn’t extremely potent but it got the job done. It had less fruit or pineapple flavor than I had hoped – less than I’ve seen in other fruit named strains. Sounds like yours was better than mine – good for you!
looks amazing. maybe you can help me out with this question. I am told that pineapple express is really a strain called “buddhas sister” that was renamed pineapple express after the movie, any thoughts?

Demo, when I first came across Pinapple Express I was told it was Pinapple x Trainwreck. I don’t know how much truth there is to this, but I HAVE seen Pinapple x Trainwreck in other dispensaries since then.
@ demo11 – G13 Labs make a Pineapple Express (search for Attitude seed bank its on there) and C99 has a pineapple pheno, never heard anyone say it was Buddhas Sister renamed though.

i came up on some of this late last year (Thanksgiving) on the north east coast and i must say it was nasty nathan. It reeked of open heineken beer through the bag, and was cured perfectly. Crispy pineappley goodness.

I just napped an 8 of g13 pineapple express and have to say it is an all around good smoke very good for a go out on the town kinda stone very uplifting but if you hit a couple of bowls you get that laid back indica feel. Not the strongest I have had but really good..guy says he got it from attitude

The real pineapple Express wa created by Kush Bros Pharmiceuticals hope that helps I still grow this strian and is one of the best ever harvest in 4 more weeks definitly medical grade you see pineapple express was around before they ever made the movie pineapple express they used pineapple express because at the time they made the movie everyone thought P.E. was the best smoke in the world and was rarely available. but know G 13 labs clames they have a feminised version but I have not seen or sampled it. I had some stuff called Green Crack, then i was told that it was really called Pineapple Express. The picture and what i had look very similar, can anybody tell me if there’s any relation between the two. It was killer weed!
