I am glad that meangreenmartian submitted this review because while I was in Amsterdam, I almost tried Amnesia’s NYC Diesel but at the last minute I changed my mind.

Looks: Very hairy and multi colored. Less trimmed than most buds which I like especially with sativas.
Smell: Like fresh lemons and grapefruits.
Taste: Pineapple candy with citrus. The exhale leaves your mouth salivating for the next puff. The best tasting bud I had this trip and I smoked numerous Kushes.
Buzz Type: Good social weed. Had us laughing at all kinds of things that were going on. This is why they call it the funny stuff.
Buzz Length: Medium to long. Classic Soma strain, buzz lasted about an hour to an hour and a half.
Overall: Went back to Amnesia three times throughout the week for this and some of their amazing pure sin hash. –meangreenmartian

It really was a great smoke Two-One, Every hit throughout the joints we rolled would have that same grapefruit taste. I will buy this wherever and whenever it is offered to me.

One of my original favorites, this strain has been worked on by several shops including Barneys Farm, but I still enjoy soma’s original NYCD. That great grapefruit flavor always brings me back to my first time in the dam. I am glad to see others enjoy an original as much as I do.

You mentioned it isn’t as trimmed as most buds, which you like with sativas. Why is that?
I just got a gram trial of my collectives NYC diesel. It is soime of the best weed I have ever smelled. I looked under a microscope they had hooked up to a laptop that showed a nug straight up covered in trich’s. Taste was harsh, butg i was RIPPED for about an hour and a half.
@JR I dont necessary like it but it gives it an organic feel in my personal oppinion. As you can see in the pic it is manicured fairly well. This stuff had to be grown in some organic soil..every hit was like a juicy california ipa beer.
Taste wise, this is the best bud i’ve eva tasted. got back from amsterdam last week and they had a nycd cross with big buddha cheese, named cheesiel. fuckin amazin. bit pricy tho
