Shortly after starting the NUGGETRY delivery service in Orange County I was introduced to a grower that was working with one of the most potent OG cuts I have ever smoked.
After some convincing she ended up joining NUGGETRY and from time to time would give me a few ounces to deliver to my patients.
I was determined to add NUGGETRY OG to my menu permanently so I would constantly be asking her what it would take for me to get 100% of every harvest, every time.
It took a while but we finally worked out a deal. The rest is history. Check it out.
Name: NUGGETRY OG
From: NUGGETRY SD (Dispensary – San Diego)
Grade: A+
Type: Indica
Price: $20/G, $60/8th
Looks: Very big, very sappy nugs that gleam when you hold them under a light. Trichomes are a golden amber color. Dark rich orange hairs throughout.
Smell: Very strong fuel smell with a bit of pine and a hint of lemon/lime.
Taste: A lot like the smell but with a semi hashy aftertaste.
Buzz Type: Very hard hitting indica buzz that you most definitely feel right away. Upon inhaling your first hit your eyes turn red and your body immediately relaxes. Very nice.
Buzz Length: Long. 1 or 2 fat bong hits and I am good for 2+ hours.
Overall: This is not a strain of medical marijuana that should be taken lightly. Definitely not for beginners. NUGGETRY OG will help very well with chronic pain, insomnia and anxiety among other things. All-in-all it is just a really great smoke that rings your bell just right. Fortunately we have it at NUGGETRY SD just about all year around. (Occasionally we run out for a day or 2).
Buzz Report: As you can probably tell by the last 2 pictures, I got a new camera and it’s a beast. As usual when I was smoking the NUGGETRY OG buds you see above in preparation for this review, I got RIPPED. I have said it before and I will say it again, NUGGETRY OG is easily one of the hardest hitting indicas that you will find in any medical marijuana collective, period! –Chubbs

Looks to die for Chubbs! I gotta say though, I doubt that you could even grind that second nug, looks way too sticky… A job for scissors I bet.
On a side note: Do you have any plans to stock any other high grade sativas besides the SSH? I keep seeing that Mack 10 from RDC and wishing it was still available.
@Chef: I use scissors 99% of teh time. Grinders are just not my thing.
We are looking at getting a very high end J1 strain in SD. Might even already be there. Let me call down really quick.

that looks fantastic. sending in a bunch of reviews soon. im wondering would you want different phenotypes of the same strain in one review or would you want them separate? got 2 trainwreck phenos and 2 church phenos. another white rhino review, white widow, blue widow, and big bang. I dont have the top of the one trainwreck maybe i can get a photo of that if the owner will allow it, it had a gorgeous purple hue to it.

Looks Wonderful, wish I had a Med card. Smell sounds delicious. The stuff I have now stinks up my whole house through a zip lock bag haha.
yeah…but I do wish that “med card” didnt just mean access to pot to a lot of people who…dont really qualify under “medical” moreso “recreation”
wanted to mention on the clippers/grinder…I think a grinder is prob better for vaporizing, but If I was a bong guy, ID be using clippers as well—
@ roorxcore chubbs posted that nuggetry og is an indica so I’m going on his word that it is in fact an indica. Yes og kush was originally sativa but there are also indica dominant varieties.

kush is from the kush mountian’s in Afganastan it has been an indica since the dawn of time. its a short stalky plant with fat buds. also by listening to chubb’s describe the high u can tell its def not sativa dom.
@ herbavore: 100% correct about the origins of kush, but, as I found out not too long ago, OG Kush is actually descended from Chem Dawg/Dog, and a sister to Sour Diesel. Original OG Kush was actually a sativa dominant hybrid, but for some reason there have been tons of indica OG Kush’s popping up. Personally, I prefer the knockout indica OG.
Chubbs, that OG may be the best I’ve seen thus far I really mean that. That’s what Cali KUSH is really like, kudos to you and everyone else for your hard efforts in bringing the best genetics avilable to the people in need whether it be medically or recreational. I hold a med card in the Bay Area and was wondering if it was valid in San Diego?

At that price there is very few strains that can match. BUT 1 of them that can is our green house version of our 619 NUGGETRY OG.
