I am going to spend as much time reviewing The Noon as they spent taking care of me as a customer, very little.
A smaller coffee shop with a guy and his laptop in the back corner calling himself the DJ. Heavy locals only vibe. Not very welcoming at all.
Smoked some of their 2008 Cannabis Cup entry ‘S5 Haze’ which was about as impressive as the shop itself.
That’s about it. –Chubbs

Pros: It’s a coffee shop

I agree, The Noon is a very locals only place, their sister shop mellow Yellow is more friendly but they charge you more for the Blueberry, not my favourite coffeeshops in Amsterdam.
Locals only or not, a place that treats a person who flew thousands of miles to try their product should not be treated like shit, that says a lot about their shop. These people have to remember their selling a wonderful herb, not crack, and act accordingly
I don’t agree with these reviews at all. Ive been to Amsterdam several times and I always made time to visit the Noon, as a matter of fact it’s my favorite shop to go. The blueberry is awesome… Its just a small place, but very comfortable, I also like the candles. Most coffee shops dont have a dj anyways, you dont go there for the music, you go there for the quality product… The Noon equals quality product. Nobody is there to yap in your ear, they leave you alone, the shop is small enough to order from the bar from your table, you dont ever have to stand up or yell to et service…

Exactly how much customer service did you want? Because they always serve your drinks and weed right away, and if they don’t feel like a chat.. Well, that can happen right?
Also, the comment about the weed being low quality is absolute BS.. Have you even tried the Blueberry or Blueberry haze?
Ps.: Coffeeshops were NOT founded for people that fly thousands of miles to sample some herb.. They were founded so that the people in the place where these establishments are located can come and enjoy a cup of tea and maybe some hash or grass to relax from a long work day. They’re in essention a second living room for lots of people. Respect our hospitality, and don’t expect to be treated like a king just because you flew a few miles. Thats exactly the mentality that gets you shitty service anyway..
hey guys just wanna say this is the best coffeshop ive ever been to because its blueberry haze is mind blowing and can contest and top strains in dam!
the server has always been really friendly to me and my mates whenever we go its a real nice place to visit full of locals never any trouble just pleasant herb chillers
this shop is a stop and go for me. its the sister shop of mellow yellow which imo is a better shop. come here for their blueberry haze.
A small coffeeshop outside the the main tourist area. Quite dark inside and a great place to sit and chill for a bit. We went mid-week so the place as pretty empty during the day.
Yes, the guy is not chattie but he was polite enough and didn’t hassle us in any way. When i’m stoned, I don;t always want to make smakk talk anyway
The Blueberry was great and only 13 Euros for 2 grams.

The Noon is a good coffeeshop, the guy working there is quiet but will chat to customers, I used to go there a lot while living in Holland for buying my Blueberry which is sold there for a pretty descent price compared to other shops in Amsterdam. It is more local minded which I really liked, never saw many tourists in there.
Because of the prices and the quality of the weed I would rate it 8/10!

What a stupid review, noon is one of my fav coffee shops in Amsterdam, I go 4-6 times a year for the past 5 years and noon is my 1st stop, its always been very welcoming and friendly when i have gone hence why i always go back the bud has always been of a high standard. Yes it is a locals chilled out coffee shop not filled with tourists even the locals have been so friendly, sat and had a smoke together and good conversation, for the real smokers this is a good place to go, if you are going to act like a tourist and get caught up in the tourist trap were its not a chilled friendly enviroment then dont go, but if you do like a good smoke in a very chilled relaxed coffee shop i highly recommend noon ive found the service to be outstanding.
