Believe it or not it can take a while to break up 9 grams of bud, photograph it and roll it up into joints. Take a look at this selection I had on me one random afternoon at The Cannabis Cup.
In Amsterdam I was pretty much blazing 24/7. When I was in route from one place to another I’d always burn what my friend Si calls “Journey Joints”. While in my hotel room breaking up bud to roll up into joints I decided to take some pictures of it all side-by-side. Although the lighting is not the best you can still easily see the differences in color.
Below are some close-ups of each of the 3 rows. I took these pictures in an attempt to give you a little better look at each of the strains. Like I said the lighting was horrible. I guess it could have been worse.
Top Row
Left: Brainstrom Haze x G13
Middle: Bubba Kush
Right: Jack Herer
Middle Row
Left: Bubblegum
Middle: Thai
Right: LSD
Bottom Row
Left: Amnesia Lemon
Middle: Grey Martian
Right: Utopia Haze
Each pile was rolled up into a single joint. All 9 joints lasted through the morning. Fortunately when you are in Amsterdam, bud is always just around the corner. Literally. –Chubbs

WOW, what a nice feast of insane strains you got there chubbs, Ill have some more reviews coming tomorrow and saturday. Did you smoke all them in one day?
meangreenmartian: Glad you like em
I’m looking forward to seeing some more of what you were blazing in the Dam.
Oh and yes, I pretty much burned all 9 joints in 1 morning. Actually 8, the Thai joint was horrible and got tossed after 1 hit.
Yeah, that Thai stuff looks…horrible.
But all the rest looks nice. I would be in heaven.
Very nice breakdown Chubbs.
Really loving the Amnesia Lemon and the Jack Herer.
Vaporizer: The Jack was unbelievable.
Amnesia Lemon will always be one of my favorite wake-n-bake buds.
I love the way you kept everything so organized, cleaned and prepared all the weed and then photographed everything. I’ve had similar intentions about blogging on my various trips to Amsterdam but after the first hour upon arrival I just seem to get get so baked that everything from there-on happens without plans.
You’ve done a great job! This is hard research.
Peace,

reefersmoke: It definitely takes a little discipline to take as many pictures and write as many reviews as I did. I found that the easiest way was just to buy 2 grams of everything. That way I had 1 to smoke and 1 to photograph/review later in my hotel room.
If you need any help with judging them let me know haha.
They lasted only a short time.
Looks good., Remember that the thai is pot..
Were the journey joints a problem while walking on the streets or was everyone using.
@Cheech: It was freezing cold out so there were very few occasions where I was around a large group of Dutch locals. I usually burned a joint on every walk.
I only see prices on 4 samples, were the rest free or were they a deal for the cup?
@Cheech: Nothing was free. Some were full price and some were discounted for The Cup.
that Thai lookss straight Nasty. Nice Work Chubbs, Interesting Read.
LMAO, scrolled up saw your comment about the Thai, case closed.
That poor “Thai”
