Grade: A (Maybe an A+, but I’m sure it doesn’t stack up to some of the other A+ stuff on Marijuana Reviews.)
Type: Sativa
Price: $60/8th
Looks: Immaculate. The bud matter has lime green, forest green and deep purple coloration and crawls with long, neon-orange hairs. It is covered in stout, bulbous trichomes that frost it densely and evenly.
Smell: This bud has an overwhelming citrus odor. A whiff of the bud renders a pure, lemony scent but the mason jar that I keep it in has an unmistakable and powerful grapefruit odor.
Taste: Tangy, with a sweet hint of fuel. The smoke is thick and hot, fairly cough-inducing.
Buzz Type: An energetic, focused sativa head high with an exceptionally comfortable and relaxed feel. Not trippy at all, as some strong sativas are; actually, the buzz was very sedate and indica-like, but it was very clear and euphoric.
Buzz Length: Very long, maybe the longest I have ever experienced. As a light smoker, I was high for 3.5 hours on .6 grams (I was hitting a jay with another head) before I decided to go to sleep – and at that point I was still quite euphoric. I imagine it would keep most patients medicated for at least 2 hours, if not longer.
Overall: In my personal opinion, this California-grown Maui Wowee provides an ideal high. As someone who tends to favor indica strains, this bud kept me feeling an intense head buzz without that paranoia or hallucination that distracts me from enjoying most powerful sativas. I thoroughly enjoyed this cannabis and it ranks with the best that I’ve come across in my encounters with private dealers. -Bodhiless

Personally, even if there was that one little seed casing the bud look indredible, regaurdless. But that’s just in my opinion.

regaurding the seed caseing you believe you saw all reallly good grown marijuana buds the female plants will produce a couple seeds to ensure the plant carries on once it dies

That is the best bud i have tasted so far. It was so tastey, lemony citrus. sticky icky icky ICKY OOOWHAY!!
It is i think is a grade A bud, sticky with way many Trichomes.

One suggestion: When taking pictures, try to bring in some mild lighting from overhead or stronger light reflected off of a wall (or reflector…) to reduce the red spectrum that seeps into photographs taken in low-light settings.

heard from a buddy of mine there is some maui wowie floatin around philly recently. wish i had a bag i havnt smoked a sativa in a while. drowning in a sea of kush and its fucking great but i do <3sativas
hands down my favorite strain. when i was a kid and smoking whatever crap was floating around high school, wowee was the pot that everyone wanted but no one could get. my buddies dad had a maui wowee tattoo he got in ‘nam, which made it’s legend that much greater. when i got a bit older and finally had a chance to get my hands on some quality, it more than lived up to it’s reputation. been my favorite strain to smoke since. focused yet comfortable high, and as bodhiless said, euphoric. always filled with hope when i smoke this strain. clean, beautiful tasting but formidable smoke. fills the chest. that euphoria is always almost immediate and will last a good 2 hours plus. always an amazing first high, with wowee.
Thats definatly Maui Woweeee with the lemon citris after smell in your mason jar or what-ever your into puttin your bud in! I can’t wait to try some compackt Maui Wowee again! Awsome review, it brings back alot of awsome memories!
i thought that there was no real maui wowee strain but all the bud out of maui is just called maui wowee
