Proving that just because something is purchased from a medical dispensary does not mean it is dank. Check out this poor sample of L.A. Confidential I got from Reseda Discount Caregivers recently. I was very disappointed to say the least.

From: Reseda Discount Caregivers (Dispensary – Tarzana)
Grade: B+
Type: Indica
Price: $60/8th
Looks: Awesome. Not as much purple as I have seen on other LAC but a little on the inside of each bud. Nice big, chunk buds with dark orange hairs.
Smell: The 1st sign that this was going to be a bummer. Smelled like it had been in the pill bottle for months. Kind of like cat piss. I know this smell well as I use to have the same issues when I was growing. No signature L.A. Confidential pine smell at all.
Taste: Very close to the smell. Tangy. Made my tongue itch.
Buzz Type: Almost immediately I was feeling a great indica buzz. Very heavy, very red, very low eyes.
Buzz Length: Medium. I was high for almost 2 hours after 2 fat bong tokes.
Overall: I bought a quarter without even looking at it based on the reputation of L.A. Confidential. Last time I do that. If it smelled and tasted better it would have easily earned at least an A- but it was pretty bad.
Buzz Report: I was shocked at how quickly I went through the quarter of L.A. confidential. The buzz was great and I would definitely buy the fresh version of this bud all day long. –Chubbs

Hey chubs have you heard of the variety off beach bl? they usually have dank LA confidential, never seen a bad review of it. all thier stuff is great in general. think they are out of the LA currently tho.
Shame it wasn’t the best batch of LA Chubbs. It definitely looks decent, but I guess without that signature lemon pine smell and taste it just doesnt get the job done. Nice Review and Pics though.
meangreenmartian: The worst part is I was really expecting it to be as good as the LAC I had in Amsterdam. It looked that good imo. But man, what a let down.

I have some very crappy LA confidential right now! i am so bothered, I havent gotten weed this awful in a long time. It looks a lot like the picture posted. Smells like chronic and smokes no better than low-grade chronic too. What a rip off.
Yeh I to have gotten the dick on L.A. Confidential, but when grown and cured propperly its the bomb I assure you. Sorry to hear that my very first batch of it was awful, so I stayed away from it even avoiding it at dispensories even when the budtender pumped it. However Im glad I gave it another chance, and now I love the clean taste of a good LA nug.
