After having smoked countless numbers of strains, surprisingly there are a few that stand out from the rest. L.A. Confidential is one of them. Take a look at this sample from Herbal Solutions.

Looks: Just about perfect. When I think of what a kind indica nug should look like this is what comes to mind. Frosty, lime green, a little purple and lots of flowers.
Smell: Like a freshly rained on pine forest.
Taste: As smooth as can be. Very minty flavor when inhaling that turns a little skunky when exhaling.
Buzz Type: Very intense head high right away followed up by an overwhelming body tingle. Very mellowing
Buzz Length: Long. Normal session keeps you very high for at least 2 hours, usually longer.
Overall: With so many dispensaries offering L.A. Confidential, I get really excited when I find a version that was grown with love as this definitely was.
Buzz Report: I ended up going back to Herbal Solutions the next morning and was lucky enough to get another quarter. I smoked this bud and this bud only for a good 4 days straight. –Chubbs

L.A.confidential is a favorite of mine the first batch I got wasnt that impressive thank goodness I gave it another try damn that stuf is good. The first L.A. I got was picked early in my opinion thats why I gave it another try veryfrosty with a fresh unique taste.
@twylights: when grown correctly it’s one of my top 3 easily. That overwhelming pine smell ROCKS!
I have got to go to the Dam now forsure. If you say the LA con is better at the coffe shops tham the dispensories Im there. Super Silver Haze is also one of my alltime favs,and I hear that the haze in the dam kill the haze here in so-cal. I recently griped some LA that was pretty much the same as described here,and I agree DANK!
Finally got to try some of this and it was amazing. Can’t wait to come across it again.
L.A. Confidential is an amazing strain I was lucky enough to try some here in Arizona. It deffinietly does not disapoint.
i love this strain but herbal souloutions is the worst. the staff consists of women who are hired based upon looks not knowledge. “so how is the hindu kush?” “it’s good…if you like hindu”. Unless you bring in 500k plus a year, you are better off to go 100 yards down the street to a spot that offers real discounts and specials as well as some real, important information on the medicine you need.
