I can remember a while back when the strain Jack Herer was just making a name for itself. Everyone was talking about it and I was hoping to someday try some. Mel Topps was fortunate enough to come up on some and sent in this review.

Looks: Sugary, sharply shaped spears. These buds have noticeably amber trichomes and rust colored pistils.
Smell: Spicy and acrid nose like peppers and acrid citrus fruit.
Taste: Sandalwood and pepper is the predominant taste with distinct undertones of ripe fruit.
Buzz Type: Narcotic. When used by itself it blasts me to the moon for a few hours after which you lose your momentum and come crashing down making it great for mixing with indicas and alleviating insomnia. The initial buzz is akin to Isis in it’s devastating punch, but the Isis is substantially more spacey.
Buzz Length: Long. 3-4 hours.
Overall: Astoundingly potent sativa. I am never disappointed when I grab Jack Herer. I always mix it if using it during the day, as by itself it almost always incapacitates me. –Mel Topps

herbavore: I recently hit some Jack mixed with some full melt hash. Got a HUGE head rush that almost floored me. I decided to omit the hash from my next toke as I did not feel like blacking out. Took a fat rip and had the same experience. Turns out the hash had nothing to do with it. Was just some damn strong herb.
I smoked the same bud, from the same place about 6 days ago. It was phenomenal! I will never get bored of Jack.. One of my favorite strains to vaporize!

Jack herer is definitely one of the most energetic sativa’s i’ve tried. Love the fact that it has a spicy smell with that tiny hint of fruit. Me and a buddy blazed a spliff of this and found ourselves going for a long walk i was really impressed by the energy this bud gives off.

Jack Herer is my favorite sativa when its grown and cured to perfection like this one apears to be you just cant beat it A++.

Looks similar to a strain of hash plant I got once.
