There are few strains of marijuana that carry with them the mystique that Green Crack does. Believe it or not, I have actually heard people ask if it is really crack? Well, let’s find out.

Type: Sativa

Looks: Very good. Thin, rich green leaves mixed with bright orange hairs.
Smell: Spicy. Very strong smell.
Taste: Smooth smoke that tasted like Cheese in my opinion. Not sure if they are related.
Buzz Type: Pretty mellow buzz that hit me almost right away.
Buzz Length: Medium. I was a bit surprised how fast I went through this bud. I thought it with it’s reputation it would of lasted a little longer
Overall: Well I was finally able to come up on the fabled Green Crack. And to be honest, I was not overly impressed. I mean it was some good weed, but nothing extra special. Oh, and it’s not really crack. 
Buzz Report: I burned 2 grams of Green Crack in about an hour through a 2 foot RooR. I was pretty damn baked only about 2 hours later I was close to completely sober again. Did not quite pack the punch I expected. –Chubbs
Doesn’t seem like it deserves the A- the way it sounds from the Overall & Buzz Report.
Sucks it didn’t live up to its name.
It’s good weed it just did not live up to all the hype that I read on the boards prior to smoking it.
I was expecting something on par with ATF of some of the strong Kush’s.
I got i gr. of GC free from a Long Beach disp. 2 wks. ago, wasn’t all that..Dry, burned quickly. I’ve heard that GC also goes by Mango..
Hmm, maybe I’ll hunt down some Mango and do a comparison.
I like green crack its a good typical sativa immediate high that lasts a good hour or hour and a half not overwhelming I have half of a gram left and I am very satisflied with my purchase
am I out of line asking $1200.00 a QP for Green Crack? I middle it to others and want to know if this is a fair mark up, or a mark up at all. Will the clinics pay more than the privat sector? Thanks
scott hollis: Sorry, no idea. Back when I was growing there was no such thing as a dispensary and I have yet to interview an owner. No idea what they pay.
The best/easiest way to find out is just go to one and ask. I have been in a dispensary before when a potential vendor has shown up with both bud and edibles for the owner to try. It’s the norm.
I think that’s why it’s named green crack. The high lasts only a sec like white crack.

I just picked some of this up from Green Angel of Malibu and honestly, it surpassed expectations (intense, wave-like cerebral high that lasted longer than expected).
@hollows: I am heading to Green Angel for the first time tomorrow. Hoping they still have some for me to check out.
Green Crack sounds more like Green Crap.
It looks like some good knot but, I dunno if the $65 price tag is worth it. You smoked 2 grams in 1 hour and only stayed high for 2? That lasted a ridiculously short amount of time for that amount of bud or either your tolerance is through the roof.
I would venture to guess it’s a little bit of both. Smoking anything more than a couple of bowls is just a waste, imo. I see pics on forums of jackasses who pack huge bong bowls filled to the brim of gorgeous buds and even hash. That’s just completely retarded given the price of good nugs these days.

If Green Crack is “hands down the best marijuana” you’ve ever smoked then, I feel sorry for ya bro. There are some seriously dankass nugs out there just waiting to be smoked! And from what it looks like and the reports I’ve read, not just here but, on any review site, Green Crack is only a B- at best. If I’m gonna dump $65 on an 1/8, it will be for some Banana Kush or Grand Daddy Purple or perhaps some Sour Diesel or possibly Bubble Gum. Anything coated in trichomes! Mmmmmmmmmmm Mmm!
BUT…after selecting a good strain with good genetics, it’s all about how it’s grown. Not every batch of the same strain is going to be the same accross the board. So, if it has good genetics and it’s not living up to what it should be, there’s a good chance that it was due to grower’s error.
This is why some people praise it and others don’t. Tollerance also has a lot to do with how it’s perceived. So, “2 grams in an hour boy” sounds like he needs to take a break for a week or so and let his tollerance go down some.
@The Flash Bastra: I agree with what you are saying about the growers making a huge difference. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way when it comes to growing high quality herb.
Oh and yes, I do have a very high tolerance. I mean come on, I own a marijuana review site.

@hollows: I ended up going to Lake Forrest instead and tbh, I wish I’d of gone to Malibu/Green Angel.
This is one of my fav strains. A real good sativa high that does not overwhelm you at all.I like to smoke this in the morning as it gives me so much energy.
i just smoked some green crack tonight. the high lasted longer then i thought it would. i would like to point out i have heard it called orange crack cause of the hairs.
Have some Green Krack growing atm. Picked up some clones from a dispensary in the sacramento area (dr’s orders, very good shop!) and the GK is about 3.5 weeks into flower so far. I’ve grown White Widow, SSH, Sno Cap, Grandaddy Purple and many other strains, and surprisngly this Green Krack (spelled with a K @ the club) already has more trich coverage than any plant I’ve grown to date. The smell is just intoxicating, and although the buds themselves aren’t as large as i’ve seen from my other strains, they are rock hard.
So far I give it an A+ just watching it grow.
ps. growing organically – I’d imagine you could get fatter buds using some chemicals but I don’t do that
Everyone hatin’ on green crack either had a bad batch (growers not knowing what they are doing?!), or they are just dumb, because I have smoked top quality strains my whole life, and the green crack i get is a typical hybrid with a heavy lean on the sativa. excellent nugs. definately at least an A- in my book.
By the way, I have connections to blueberry, trainwreck, SD, NYSD, mr nice, queen, g13 alaskan, OGK, etc… so know that this strain is on par with these
NewMatt: I agree COMPLETELY. The Green Crack I had just last night was absolutely amazing. When people say its not good they must of had a bad batch or something.
I was smoking some killer chemdawg all week last week, but then I picked up a gram of the mean green crack from a shop in Denver. It was outdoor. Some of the strongest stuff I’ve ever smoked, much stronger than the Chem, Bubba Kush, or Sour DieselXsage I was smoking. Green crack is certainly an apt moniker.
i just got a quarter of this and white widow and green crack blows widow out of the water. it got me stupid for like 2 hours and then i was fine and it did not make me tired at all
I know very little about this strain, but heard it has a new moniker “space queen”… is this true or an allergic reaction to the word “crack” when it comes to medicinal [political justification] usage in despenseries?
@GVU: Honestly I don’t think the renaming of Green Crack has anything to do with dispensaries.
From what I have heard there is a grass roots “group” trying to get everyone on board with the new name as “crack” has such a neg. vibe to it.

how can you give GREEN CRACK a A- and then give it a so so review. ive smoked and grown a lot of shit in my lifetime and gc has cracked my top 10 with ease.
I got some Green Crack over the summer, and man was this shit flame. Ive been smoking for about 6 years now and its on my Top 5 list.
I rolled a nice sized joint of it maybe around .75 when we first got it (only thing we had to smoke it out off) and me, my bro, and my buddy who have all been smoking about the same amount of time had to put it out before it was even considered a roach.
I was straight up stoned for 2 hours after that.

dunno, but I miss the link, I have some mango from nuggetry SD(I tend to say nuggetry OG on accident) and it tastes fantastic, gives an amazing indica high…love it…
sadly I feel sativas cant be in the same room as an indica.
Well if you like to take a hit and relax and watch a movie or play xbox, yeah I lean to a more indica stone. But when I have shit to (outside of work) a landrace sativa works great, doesnt make you lathargic,unmotivated and useless.
Ijust got some greencrack from cityofangels 2 is SLT, 15 a g. I took one heavy toke, immediate high almost a rush, very clean could still have clear fluid thoughts. The girl at the counter said it was her fav day stash.

unbelievable. Extremely potent, hits you hard after the first pull. Very tight, dense, almost glowing light green with complete trichom coverage. A slight kushy taste
with a wonderful aftertaste. I look forward to submitting m review. Top 3 in my opinion, along with LA Confidential and
proper Og Kush.

i think the prices club charge for good bud these days is ridiculous. out on the streets where i lived i would feel hustled if anyone gave me an eigth for anything for than $40 of grade A quality. maybe thats just because santa cruz is spoiled though.
green crack was pretty decent. i had hard time feeling the buzz at the first time but fourth time i tried, i was extremely stoned and it lasted for more than 2 hours. Maybe because my friend and i try to finish a fat joint(0.5-0.75).
i think GC was dank. i will pick up again. by the way it was around 55/8th in california.
GC is at 55/8th in IL as well, good high and a heady taste and smell. I’d give it a B I prefer the taste and smell of SD which is just 5 bucks more a bag. Not too mention the GC buzz is so short in duration. You might just get a little bit higher from the GC though…
green crack is the best sativa i have had. I got it alot in northern cali over the summer. but when i got back to my home state i got some green crack that was a c+ or b- at best. so this strain can really range depending on the collective and the area.
we used to always refer to any fire as green crack because people would always be right back for it.
I dont know what kind of Green Crack you guys are getting, but the kind i have been getting is superb herb.. some of the best.. i enjoyed this just as much as the herojuana i had
GC is my number 1 or 2 weed that I have smoked to date, kept me buzzing all day. Great times.

The GC here in Colorado is pretty dank. One of my favorite pure sativas. 50$ per 1/8 with quite an interesting thoughtful high.
The people who didn’t like the green crack, just might not be into sativas. I’m not, personally… they don’t do much for me. I need indica. Other people I know hate indica.
I used to slang like 3 years ago until i got a quarter pound of G.C jacked from me at gun point, it was the best weed i’ve ever smelled and tasted, next to grand daddy, it cost $950 a QP in norcal, seemed like it was worth like $1,100. Does anyone know if KC brains mango is the same as GC, i just ordered some seeds and it says they are mostly indica but GC is like 75% sativa. I’ve read that mango was the same, maybe just a different phenotype… anyone know??
Some clubs here call GC by another name, Dream Queen. Mango is completely different than GC by my understanding. The Mango I had looked/smelled nothing like the GC I have.

well i heard it’s a monster producer indoors so i threw a green crack baby into the rotation this go around. it was the first to show signs of bud and has more trichs than any of the others. dense grouping on my topped and pruned plant.
Had some Green Crack about a month ago and I though it was a very good gave me a nice little energy boost that made me want to go mow the lawn also Green Crack is a killer strain name imo

I just had to drop in and leave my 2 cents,because the buds told me too! I have been smoking for 25 years,and the Green Crack I sampled from Purple Heart in Oakland is hands down one of the top 5 buds I have ever smoked.Extreme Sativa high with a little indica numbness too.Hit hard on first hit,then proceeded to get stonger and stronger after about 4 bong rips(1 bowl).Then proceeded to enjoy this super high for the next 3.5 hours,even eating in between.Tons of trichomes and red hair-almost no smell untill ground.Really reminds me of the original Cali green buds from the early Homboldt days.A+ and well worth it.
I have to drop by with my two cents also I’ve been smoking for 30 years and the bud is probably top 3 seems to get better every year.
