With parents like this, I am guessing Amanda caught a pretty good buzz from this GPD x Green Ribbon. If not she may just have one of the highest tolerances ever!

Name: GDP x Green Ribbon
From: Alternative Patient Caregivers (Dispensary – San Francisco)
Grade: A-
Price: N/A (Forgot)
Looks: The nugs are dense, not sticky to the touch but the nugs leave your fingers with a sprinkling of kief.
Smell: The smell is fantastic, aromatic without being overpowering and sugary.
Taste: One of the harsher strains I’ve hit so far. I’m glad that I did not have enough to roll a nice size joint because I am sure I would have been coughing the whole time. That alone was not nearly enough to deter me from the promise of what I knew was coming.
Buzz Type: Sedative, relaxing.
Buzz Length: Long. 2-3 hours.
Overall: The high from GDP x Green Ribbon was amazing. This is not the kind of weed that I would smoke with the intention of going out later in the evening, this is a “I’m done for the night and going to have a night cap” kind of marijuana. It did not take much or very long before my head was floating away into space while my body remained warm and comfortable where I was. I would not describe the high as leaving me couch locked, because I definitely was moving around and living my life. But once I did sit down and get comfortable, there was not anything else I wanted to do.
GDP x Green Ribbon shut off my brain completely. I had no thoughts that I can remember, watched TV but thought nothing of it, all my worries and anxiety were out the window with the smoke that I exhaled from my bong. –Amanda
Other than the smoke being a little harsh, it sounds like GDP x Green Ribbon is a winner. I am planning a trip up north in a few weeks. Can’t wait to try some of the Nor Cal med. myself. –Chubbs

Green Ribbon is an awesome strain, I honestly cant imagine this cross not being better than just GDP. Once again color is more of an issue of genetics usually expressed at lower temperatures during the ending cycle. I bet this stuff shreds better than 99% of GDP.
Interesting mix of strains. I’ve never heard of green ribbon, but after this review I just may have to try it. Seems like a great indica, I always enjoy a good couchlock high when I have nothing planned for the evening. That nug on the bottom of the first pic is absolutely gorgeous, so many orange hairs I can barely even distinguish the color of the buds. I always love a little kief left on my fingertips after packing a fresh bowl… sometimes i even get a little crackling noise if it’s super duper uber amazingly ridiculously absurdly chronic.
looks amazing!
Cheers to Chubbs on the pics!
These Parents sound so nice I wish they were my parents lol
@Nuglife — If your parents were GDP x Green Ribbon, and we were in a world where this was actually possible, I’d smoke you in a heartbeat…kinda like I am in the contest! HAHAHA one of those bongs are as good as mine!
QUALITY > QUANTITY any day!
Oh, and your first white light picture, Amanda, is great! Ladies always know how to take better pictures for some reason! Just like in Photography back in high school…haha
