The trichomes are filled with oil. Water and Oil dont mix. Thats why if you let the water sit all the trichome heads sink to the bottom. either way nice write up! I know someone who has at least 3 ounces of stems collected for me every week, and thats exactly what I use. Last week I made some that didnt look al that good. I loaded a bunch in a bowl and thew a tiny piece of bud ontop, and I kid you not, After going room to room letting everyone test it, I enerted a dreammm state, and didnt come out for 2 days!!!! actually, this is the method I use for making hash, its so simple and actually takes much less product to get the job done.
