I just got home after a hell of a day and to be honest, I don’t really have time to write a proper review with milk vids/pics but I did not want to deny you all from seeing the machine that is my new frosty illadelph bong.
I walked into the illadelph Glass Store (review coming soon) on Melrose in Hollywood dead set on buying a sick piece that had at least 1 set of tree percs. The dude working there was showing me just that and this frosty machine was on the wall behind him just calling me…..Chubbs……….Chubbs………..I’m so frosty!
Obviously I couldn’t resist her overwhelming charms. I am going to break her in over the next day or 2 and will be posting a review of both the bong and the ash catcher separately. –Chubbs

wow
wow, i wish i could hit something out of that. nice review!
I know a lot of glass heads hate on Illadelph, but aesthetically I think that tube looks good. As for originally wanting a tube with percs, a good straight (or beaker in this case) definitely works as well. If you ever do end up picking up a perced tube, there’s definitely other great glass stores in LA to check out.
throwitallaway: After having hit Frosty 20+ times and cleaned her twice, I’d say it’s a decent bong at best. I’ll go into detail in the coming review.
I’m not an expert on Illadelph glass so I can’t say squat about its quality, but if anything, it is a very nice looking piece
niiiiice i love it, looking forward to the review of the store
drewzilla: You’re gonna love it. Place is SICK!
Gorgeous, but $475!!?? You are wealthy!
Please publish review ASAP, especially what kind of screen (if any). I’m trying to go all vaporizer, but still can’t resist the charms of a beautiful piece of glass.

@adam: I got it at the illadelph glass store in Hollywood.

thats expensive for such a simple looking peice
Bad ace piece.
Illadelph haz a bubbler that cost more than double that.
Guys you need to check out fixed stem designs. They blow the roors and illadelphs away. Syn and Name Brabd Glass are two newer US companies making some sick glass. Super quality, thickness, and the fixed stem design allows for creations such as the showercap by syn or the circulator by Name Brand that give the sickest diffusion, the smoke is like a cooled mist. Classic old school designed glass pieces not a novelty. Honestly compare a cheaper SYN Monster showercap to this bong and tell me which you would rather have….and you can keep the extra $125 to fill your new bong up! That being said illadelph makes ridiculously nice peices, they just seem a little steep to me and that fixed stem allows for such crazy diffusion.
I think I may need to change my boxers after seeing this. This bong is serious business, don’t think I’ve ever seen a full frosted glass piece bigger than a bubbler anywhere.
As for the upstem ashcatcher, would you recommend it over a traditional tree-stem ashcatcher? I know the design is unique to Illadelphia, but I’ve seen more and more of them around and can’t help but wonder if it’d be a better investment. I’m planning on getting a new ashcatcher soon, so some input would be helpful. Interesting that the downstem and the ashcatcher are one piece.
Oh hells yes! I love frosted pieces, but sadly never know of any people with ‘em! Either people in Utah don’t know about living in style, or I’m just hanging around the wrong group of people! haha
My buddy has an Illadelph. His is 7mm (this one is 5mm I’m guessing?) and has a dark green color. The style name, I forget…I’d encourage everyone to try their hand at an Illadelph if given the opportunity.
RooR is my brand of choice, but it’s always nice to try high-end glass, nevertheless. After all, Illadelph’s aren’t cheap…
sick piece….how much?
