Today is kind of a big day for me. You see, I have still been working since I started posting here…my job was a lot of project management. Well, today I finished my last project! Now, I can focus 100% on this fabulous site and community. I’m super stoked to have been welcomed with open arms and look forward to all good things to come.

And now, on to two strains I have never heard of:

Type: Hybrid

Price: $17/g

Looks: Dark green with lots of orange hairs, good amount of crystals.

Smell: Fruity at first but on the second whiff kinda piney and woodsy.

Taste: Kinda weird…Instantly made my tongue go numb…it was kinda cool. The smoke is really earthy when I exhale.

Buzz Type: Definitely a head high…felt like one of those kids in an air head commercial. It had me laughing at my own jokes for a while.

Buzz Length: Couldn’t really tell cause I smoked again like 30 mins later…It seemed pretty solid.

Overall: It wasn’t exactly what I was expecting but it was a pretty good high. Really beautiful buds. –zdub27

There are many different definitions of the term “headies”. Some say it’s the top part of the plant (i.e. inherently better), some say it’s the best version of a particular strain (i.e. the best of a crappy strain would still be crappy) and still others say that the term classifies the type of high you’re going to get.

Type: Indica

Price: $65/half oz (From a good friend)

Looks: Different shades of green with orange/red hairs and lots of crystals.

Smell: Sort of fruity. It smells sweet in a way.

Taste: Like marijuana. The smoke is not harsh at all.

Buzz Type: Energetic. You want to do stuff when you smoke this weed. A good choice when with friends, creates a lot of laughs.

Buzz Length: Long. I was good for at least 4 hours after smoking 2 blunts with 7 people.

Overall: This is good weed that doesn’t come around here very often for 65 per half oz. It was well worth it. –stevefromnc

Looks: Really dark brown almost black, very soft and squishy like play dough.

Smell: A very sweet smell with hashy undertones.

Taste: Very creamy and surprisingly smooth.

Buzz Type: Instant soaring high, very clear.

Buzz Length: Medium. Not too long maybe 1 and a half hours.

Overall: Good quality hash but I’m guessing Greenhouse has better varieties on the menu.

Buzz Report: You could smoke this day or night with a very slight, if any, body stone involved. –Dambuster

Type: Hybrid?

Genetics: I was told this was OG Kush crossed with Purple Haze, I am not 100% sure though.

Price: $400 an ounce, expensive!

Looks: Fantastic. Small dark green popcorn nuggets with purple veins and leaves throughout. Covered in sand-colored large kief crystals. Dense, sticky and just amazing.

Smell: Like a skunk ate a lot of purple candy. Delicious and pleasantly rancid. I loved sticking my nose into the bag and just inhaling. Ahhh, I can still remember it now with nostalgia for “the good old days”.

Taste: Similar to the smell, but heavier on the skunky side. It left a rather sweet aftertaste that always encouraged me to smoke some more.

Buzz Type: Heavy head high, but with a nice relaxing body high that had me feeling as though I melted into anything I sat or laid down in.

Buzz Length: Long. Pretty decent, a good 2 or 3 hours before the comedown started.

Overall: A very delicious and potent strain that always made me want to smoke more of it. I just loved this strain so much, it brings tears of joy to my eyes just remembering it. One of the tastiest strains I have ever had.

Buzz Report: As you can tell from my posts, I have a thing for tasty Purple Kush. This is no different. It was tasty, potent, stinky, and long lasting, the only downside was the price. Now if they just legalized it in NY maybe prices would go down… –Heavyhitter88

Looks: Lime green mixed with dark green almost blue looking leaves. Completely covered in trichomes everywhere. The baby nugs looked like little crack rocks – just all white. It’s a beautiful nug. Dense nugs like rocks.

Smell: Just reeked like skunk. It smelled my whole basement up. Most smell I’ve had out of a nug.

Taste: The taste of dank. (Not at all like crack…it’s not laced.)

Buzz Type: Instant high, straight to the head, heavy couch lock. A very, very enjoyable high.

Buzz Length: Very long. 3-4 hours.

Overall: Almost like crack, after you hit it once you don’t want to put it down. This bud gets you real high and has you trippin’ for hours. The THC content on this bud is incredible. Grown extremely well. –Michiganfinest

Hope you’re having a great week. I have some beautiful Purple Kush and at the same time listening to a little Fargo. As you can tell, most of the time when I’m posting reviews, I’m listening to the TV from the living room. Have had the pleasure of some great movies lately.

Looks: Beautiful looking purple and green buds loaded with brown to red hairs with longer white hairs splashed throughout. Looks kinda light and fluffy compared to most kush buds I’ve seen. Covered in frosty crystals.

Smell: Sweet, Very Sweet! It kinda smells like Fruit Loops cereal mixed with skunk and a little fuel smell. Smells real smooth.

Taste: Once again the first thing that comes to mind when sitting back in your chair after inhaling a toke of this lovely herb is SMOOTH! It is very well cured.

Normally the first thing mentioned when speaking on the taste of any bud is flavor. The flavor – while it is an awesome fruity, skunky flavor – will have to take a backseat to the smoothness of this particular batch.

Buzz Type: Heavy indica buzz that can induce a loss of a few hours in front of a TV or PC!! Can also bring on a case of the uncontrollable munchies. Great for a sleep aid as well as pain relief such as headaches and arthritis.

Buzz Length: Long. Good for a whole movie. About two hours.

Overall: I would be lucky if I had access to this grower’s Purple Kush all of the time. It’s a winner!

A lot people might pass this one up because it is not as dense as most of the bud we are used to seeing these days, but they would be in error because it is really stoney and tasty. It is exceptionally well grown, flushed, and cured weed.

I happen to have a little inside info on this crop and believe it or not it was grown under a 400 watt light. Amazing huh? You can have high quality nuggets without a one million dollar a month power bill! –SantaCruzMts

Looks: Classic looking kush covered in THC. This is just another great example of what you get when you mix good seeds with an even better environment. This was my Christmas/Holiday strain! This was lighter than I wanted it to be, for I usually like a dark strain for the New Year.

Smell: Spicy and hash-like. I was surprised at the smell, but I was so pleased with the way it smoked. It didn’t smell like OG or Bubby, more like a Haze. This wasn’t overly smelly. I was able to travel with one Ziploc bag with no issues.

Taste: Strong taste. Made me cough so much it seemed as if every pore was sweating. It was very nice after needless to say.
I twisted one up – it was a great choice even though I usually rip the PHX.

Buzz Type: Heavy Indica. Severe couch lock, body type stoned – I use it for pain or sore joints/muscles.

Buzz Length: Short-medium. One joint only lasted me an hour for a good solid high. Somewhat disappointed in that!

Overall: The holiday bowls were filled with this stuff! I was pleased with this Christmas Crop! I was told it would be cured longer next time so hopefully the high will be better. –Kush2Push
