Name: Famous Amos
From: Private Dealer
Grade: B
Type: Sativa
Price: $350/oz
Looks: Has some density, color is a light green – very earth tone since it was grown outdoors.
Smell: Earthy, with some mint undertones.
Taste: Smooth kinda berry taste.
Buzz Type: Both uplifting and lazy, just depends on what you’re doing when smoking.
Buzz Length: Very long. 3-4 hours.
Overall: Good sativa. Very plain but smooth hitting. A very medium quality dank but still good to smoke. –jackatomic

I’m glad it still turned out to be good smoke for you. Does the buzz length include the comedown? 3-4 hours is a really long time! –Mrs. Chubbs

looks horrible. 350 an ounce is crazy for that crap.
agreed
Looks like if it was trimmed up it would look pretty good. Balanced high, smooth taste, 3-4 hour buzz….I want it!
In most places other than Ca, grown outdoors is not the same quality. The looks will be htere most of the time but the quality just isn’t. I’m surprised to see the buzz lasted that long.
looks more like a C grade herb to me. I could understand the B is it was trimmed.
Peace.
shows the pricing issue…people think they can charge 350 plus for any ounce…evidently…They CAN…
sounds an honest and fair review.
this looks exactly like something that i have sent a review in for a few days ago but never knew the name of.
funny really, because it’s been ages since i smoked it and just came across some more today, i could recognize it straight away. i came on here looking for it as i have done loads of times and finally i think i know what this strain is called. it’s always massive buds with a bit too much leaf and stalk, dull shades of green with some gold hues toward the centre, earthy look, smell and taste, but in a nice way. it was very nice to have some today really, not too potent but a nice smoke nonetheless, but i paid considerably less than you did at £160.
not entirely 100% sure that this is the same strain, but the photos and description seem to match up perfectly, all except for the taste, which with my weed i find to be earthy but sweet. i even gave mine the same rating in the review i wrote.
sorry for rambling on a bit anyway, i’m a little bit baked. nice review, and thanks for that, i think i’m going to research this strain a bit to satisfy my curiosity
damn it, i just googled the name “famous amos” to try and find out more about it and all i could find was stuff about chocolate chip cookies… does anyone know what this strain actually is called? i really would like to obtain some seeds for it because it seems to be a decent yielder outdoors, and from my experience, and if what i am smoking is, as i think it is, this same strain, it doesn’t have a pungent smell, so would be ideal for my purposes
