Thanks for the shout, we must run in similiar circles cause you got it buddy, the H.O.G. does have blue traits that come out the last few weeks or so. Your right about the stone too. People ask what the stone is like I tell them it’s like the first time they got high, everytime. We have been working the 911.( actually we renamed that one cause we had a couple people think it was something to do with September 11th which obviously it wasn’t). We renamed that strain Zion. Zion we had tested a couple months back to prove it was over 30% thc(specualted it was but wanted real results) and it came in 34%. Obviously real power there, just low yielding and those crosses we have made to increase yield and keep potentcy are probably due out by the summer but everythings been good so far with the breeding, first strain I will release on the Zion will be Zion x cindy 99 cause cindy is such a giving cross you know? The “night shade” purple kush we run often and you will be seeing that more once we get the Zion , H.O.G., and a couple others done.

Take it to a local club, smoke it, or give it to your members to show appreciation (tax deductable). Or you could add a couple patients? There are alot of people that go the craigslist route in the bay area but I’m not recommending you do that as a home grower because I’ve heard of people being followed and home evaded later. You don’t want alittle ends to cause more problems then it is worth. Hope this helped

I am with you more than you can know, so when I tell you what I know and believe please remember that when reading the following.
I agree with you about the border incident in terms of the state law and spirit of the state law and medical marijuana. The issue of course is the feds, and where I disagree with you is not in principle, but simply the law. Right or wrong the spirit and legality of the state law doesn’t matter when it comes to the letter of the law which the feds are following. Even if the the attorney general William Holder said to back off legit med marijuana issues, marijuana and even medical marijuana are still an illegal drug going by fed laws. We are in a classic scenario of states vs fed rights which I am sure the history books 100 years from now will look back on marijuana as a major battle in states vs feds rights, not too unlike what we learned back in the day in school about issues where the states and feds clashed. I don’t care if the best legal mind on the planet told you to go public and make the video, because while in spirit he maybe right, but legally he isn’t and IMO they are giving you bad advice unless they are willing to legally represent you for free all the way through appeals etc. More importantly, I would not in any way recommend rubbing it in the face of the feds or pushing the envelope. While they maybe backing off legit med marijuana prosecutions to some extent, the feds probably won’t take too kindly to being called out publicly on an issue they have in spirit said they would back off of. IMO, I would back off, be thankful they took what they took and didn’t charge you with several federal felonies. Do you want to be the guy going to the Supreme court in a few years in the state vs feds rights to legalize marijuana or at least medical marijuana? IF you were to get arrested by feds and wanted to fight the battle I have a feeling that is where it might end up eventually.
Chubbs, you seem fairly articulate and intelligent. I would suggest not letting ego and arrogance of what you think or believe get in the way of the reality of med marijuana still being illegal in the feds eyes.
I am a OMMP cardholder in Oregon, but would enjoy talking to you more about this in detail and give you more of my opinion and what I know and have learned. First and foremost I am most likely more a libertarian and rebel than you or most of you could even think of being, so with respect save your fight the power or move to North Korea for the conservative neo cons who have ruined this country for 8 years under a virtual dictator. Remember, I am with you not against you, but you miss my and the entire point and you are letting self righteous, idealism get in the way of reality. The point is the reality is marijuana, medical or not is illegal with regards to federal law. You do understand that fact? I know it pisses you off as it does me, but no amount of arguing, debating, lawyers etc, can change that fact unless the law gets changed. You cannot change the fed law by arguing states rights or that it is legal in said state. Until the law gets change you and I can beat our heads against the wall and it won’t matter. There is a difference between questioning our government and breaking said laws of our current federal government. Most of us are questioning the government and wanting current laws to change, but questioning is a huge difference compared to intentionally rubbing the breaking of the federal laws in the feds faces. You don’t change the laws in this country by breaking them. You can only change them by an amendment or a revolution which the latter is most likely not going to happen, especially with regards to marijuana. Chubbs didn’t rub anything in the faces of the feds when arrested and IMO acted appropriately, but he did rub it in their faces with coming out about in and on broadcasting it on you tube. I read the Attorney General’s memo to law enforcement regarding the backing off of legit medical marijuana cases. What it really says is that they aren’t going to prosecute those that are in compliance with state med marijuana laws. It doesn’t say they aren’t going to take your money or marijuana. And when you are running a business that makes a substantial profit and operates as a dispensary, well you know, it is kind of obvious that is why I said I would be thankful they too the cash and weed and let him go.

Look, let’s not BS each other. We all, almost all started off smoking pot recreationally. Most of us are smoking recreationally even though we have “legit” med reasons to use it. I play ice hockey at a fairly competitive level and I have read on forums like this from others who are med patients that go out and play frisbee or skateboard etc after getting high. I now have a med marijuana card and it was fairly easy to acquire since I have a titanium rod in my leg from a break and I can claim bone pain. Do I really need med marijuana? No, as their are plenty of pain alternatives. Do I want med marijuana? Yes, because I am an anti-pharmaceutical/ anti pill guy, unless antibiotics, not to mention the fact that I believe no government or entity should have any right or be able to regulate or control a plant that has been around for millions of years!! The issue is what I believe and you believe doesn’t matter a damn if it is in violation of federal laws.
IMO two very important groups the AMA and doctors in general, and lawyers both need to come out and be more vocal and push for legalization. Many doctors and lawyers themselves admit to smoking marijuana, but we need and want them to come out of the closet. In fact we need all the well respected members of society that do smoke pot to come out and stop playing games. Then and only then will the movement really get the respect it deserves and will get us much closer to legalization. If we get a repub back in office in 2012 we are screwed and going to take a turn back, so let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Some would argue that getting “high” is a right of a human being, and maybe even more important than someone’s right to sit at the front of the bus. The differences that you listed between the two cases were merely skin deep and in principle are very similiar, they are both human right’s issues and their worth is given in the eyes of the beholder.
Also I’m not really sure what your problem is with the video. The verbosity of your rants made your main point hard to follow, something along the lines of “he shouldn’t have released the video because what the government did was justifiable under its own laws”. Now if that is the reason then maybe you should not speak on such topics as human rights.
The video also is just a tributary (just like having large professional organization exclaim support for legalization) that leads to the river of legalization.
And going all “holier-than-thou” by accusing people of being self-righteous is the pot calling the kettle black.
Flint, your A point is a terrible analogy. There really is no comparison between fighting for your right as a human being to be treated equally and your “right” to getting high. I know your point is about standing up to laws and being willing to put ones words into actions, but there is a considerable difference in one fight compared to the other.

As far as the federal governments ability to take money at will, it is based on the fact that the cash they confiscated from CHubbs is from a business that violates federal laws. They didn’t take his lunch money and they know well the money is coming from marijuana sales which is in violation of federal laws. Again the point is regardless of the state laws the fed laws trump them. This whole situation is not about what we think is right or wrong, but what is legal and what isn’t.
I had several friends over watching the video with Chubbs rant. Chubbs, when you started going into the part about the Mexican, several people here just rolled their eyes and were saying STFU. The Mexican and how he was treated have zero to do with your situation. It just comes across as some self righteous rant that really has nothing to do with your case and seems like you are trying to avert attention and point fingers away from the fact that you were arrested and are trying to make the feds out to be the bad guys to bolster your case. No one really gives a damn about the Mexican and Chubbs you only know and “care” because you got in that situation and were pissed. Really, be honest. Otherwise you wouldn’t know or give a damn about the guy. Right or wrong, like it or not, the feds are just doing their job. As much as I dislike it and as much as it frustrates me, it is the way it is.
When Cali or Washington or some other state passes a law completely legalizing marijuana, which could happen this year, expect the state vs fed battle to really ramp up, because state legalization will be in direct conflict with the fed laws. We simply need a federal amendment to the constitution and until then half measures and state by state legalization won’t cut it. The problem is simple doesn’t mean easy.

Without making a big deal out of it I would like to know where you got that and what the genetics are, because that is a name and strain that I came up with and worked on for some time. Apparently Nuggs from your collective told one of my guys it is everywhere in socal and it is creating a rif for sure with my partners thinking I’m passing that strain to you.

We’ve had it on the menu on and off for a few months now.
Same grower also does our Humboldt OG Hash that we sold out of in almost 1 day.
TBH, Nuggs is right, there is a ton of Humboldt OG going around.

Chunkle is a name I coined a while back. It is only grown by 1 small farmer and her neighbor and I’ve received 100% of each/every harvest since the strains inception.

I was wondering what medical problems qualify someone for medical use, i have high blood pressure and asthma, do i qualify? also do any of these places deliver by mail? i smoke, id like to legaly im 19 and from ohio, u.s. it helps calm me down and breathe easier, i use this site alot i figured if any1 would know you would, please let me know thanks

@justin, asthma is a respiratory problem and may not qualify you as a patient but you would have to ask a doctor that. No collective will deliver by mail, atleast the ones that are prop 215 compliant, as the mail is a federal entity and we would be breaking the law.

I hear you man, I waited for years for Michigan to change but didn’t happen till a year ago, now they have med marijuana but it is regulated excessively, proof the all states are not equal, even when a medical marijuana law is in effect.
