If Delta 9 "D9" were closer to my house, I’d probably be broke right now. Between their great selection and their low (low compared to other dispensaries) prices, this place is addicting. I read about D9 online and decided to make the drive up to The Valley. As long as there is no traffic it’s really not that bad.
D9 is located in Van Nuys on Van Nuys Blvd. between Roscoe and Sherman in a non-descript white building with red trim. There is parking in front and all along the right side. Probably the best parking of any dispensary.
When you walk up to the door the first thing you notice is there is no buzzer. All you do is tap on the glass door and the security guard unlocks the door via remote control. Upon entering you are trapped in a little 4×4 iron cage with the front door at your back, and an iron door to your left. Directly in front of you on the other side of the bars is a desk where an armed security guard monitors everything. You pass your i.d. and your medical marijuana recommendation through the bars and are then let into the lobby.
There is a nice leather couch to wait on while the guard verifies you. It took him about 5 minutes to get my verification done. After the 1st visit you only need to bring your i.d. to get in.
OG Kush OG Earwax
After getting verified you are let into the medicine room through a door in the back of the lobby. The medicine room is much larger than the lobby and has 2 couches, a big screen TV and of course 2 glass displays. These guys really know what they are doing and it shows in their selection and their prices. All top shelf marijuana goes for $20/G, $55/8th and $420/ounce. An we are talking about some dank!
Delta 9 is also the home to one of the strongest concentrates I’ve tried yet, OG Earwax. Not only does it get you wasted, it makes a normal size bowl last forever. As a first timer, I was given a free gram of my choice. I went with some OG Kush of course.
The guy behind the counter really knew what he was talking about. I prefer it when the people running the shop are also patients. I’ll be making a run up the 405 freeway to this top dispensary real soon for some more OG Kush, Pre 98 Bubba Kush, OG Earwax or some OG on OG Honey Bud. –Chubbs

I’ve been to 20+ places (mostley in the valley) and this one is the BEST! I’ve been going for almost 2 years and the prices cannot be beat. Selection is A++. The staff knows a lot about the meds. I now live about 175 miles away, but its worth a trip once a month!!!

I must refute my above statement. I was reading one of the dispensory reviews on here and Chubbs was talking about clubs having an off day and not even reviewing them on his first trip alone. So I decided to go back to D9, and Im glad that I did. They had a great sativa called pineapple and a fire ind-pure candy kush among others. All in all Im glad I gave it another shot.
Man you need to tell these guys about the poorly ran delta 9 in Torrance. The bud realy has no smell none of it. The hash is the worst that Ive had. Chubbs dont bother even trying this location. I went in with low expectations because the folks I know around here dissed the hell out of it. Now when you have low expectations and still have a realy bad experience says a lot. However the people were great, but saying that doesnt make up for the POOR POOR NASTY GROSE weed they are selling solid F.

I CALL BULLSHIT! Sorry but this dispensary does not have earwax hash or any good hash for that matter…and the buds, okay at best. The best thing there were their clones. The best co-op in San Diego by far is the Downtown Kush Lounge on 7th and F.

Oh well, I’ll give it a few more visits before I pass judgment.
Selection is better, but its also more expensive. It no longer has that warm homey feel too it. They painted over the cool Delta-9 mural too. And no more friendly security guard or pit bull.

Great dispensary. Too bad they dont have a lot of giveaways, but hey: I rather get this top shelf bud for 55 than pay 75 and get a free joint.

When I was there on Nov 8th, no Jose, no pitbull, mural painted over, the guy inside told me that it had a new board of directors. Was I just WAY TOO HIGH at the time??? I doubt it, but I hope so. Have you been back since your last post? I was planning on heading over there in the next few days.
aint much more to say then one of the best collectives in the valley…..great orgain meds,strongest edibals ive had in a while but the best part about delta 9 is the customer service….From the friendlist sercurity guards jose and his partner mr. stups who is actually a dog and the knowledgable and down to earth budtenders Scott and jay…I notice the only “Con” says no credit and they actually have a credit/debit machine that does not charge a fee…Check out there website i believe its D9collective.com full menu board with over 30 flavors daily also click on the days from calender and 7 days a week they have several diferent specials…All i can say is stop by theres no way you can walk out disappointed…..
omg, reading this makes me so jealous at all of you. i live in michigan, no dispenseries here. I WISH I COULD JUST DRIVE TO A STORE AND PURCHASE MARIJUANA SO BAD!! im still doing it the old school way, with a dude=(

I was forced to step out of my element when my neighborhood dispensary was shut down on June 7. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Delta 9 in Van Nuys. They offer quality product at very moderate prices. A nice variety of buds, hash, and kief. Very busy…which is a good sign. Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Plus they offer a free gram for first timers. I will definitely be returning to this dispensary. =)
HANDS DOWN BEST DISPENSARY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! The selection of bud was incredible, and the prices were great! The staff (including the awesome pit) is awesome as well! Probably the only dispensary I will ever go to
