Type: Sativa

Looks: Nicely manicured, tight, light green buds with lots of short orange hairs.  Covered in white trichomes (under the microscope, cloudy with a few amber clusters).

Smell: Very light, piney smell.

Taste: Also very light.  Hardly has a taste at all.

Buzz Type: Nice sativa buzz.  Great mood lifter.  I was happy doing whatever, whether that meant being active or sitting around relaxing.

Buzz Length: Medium.  Strong effects for the first forty-five minutes with it finally wearing off after about two hours.

Overall: Great stuff to have during the day.  I smoke partly for depression, and this stuff had me feeling much better ten minutes after ingesting.  I took a shower and couldn’t remember if I’d shampooed my hair or not.  Nice body buzz with some nice cerebral effects.  –mundane

Looks: Nice green color with some purpling and scattered dark orange hairs.  Not particularly well manicured.

Smell: Skunky with hints of lemon and fuel.

Taste: Through the vape, it was like sucking on a sour lemon candy, particularly on the exhale.

Buzz Type: Energetic and cerebral.

Buzz Length: Short for me (back to baseline after an hour or so), but I also have a huge tolerance.

Overall: Fine for the price, but not something I feel the need to return to.  Tasted good, but wasn’t powerful enough to do much for me.  –mundane

Looks: Tight buds with dark green and purple leaves nearly obscured by the frosty trichomes.  Ground up, it looks like potpourri.

Smell: Classic purp.

Taste: Light purple taste with some pine.

Buzz Type: A good mix of body and mind.

Buzz Length: Short.  Less than an hour.

Overall: It looked beautiful and smelled nice, but it wasn’t enough to overcome my tolerance.  I liked the effects for the first half hour, but after that, I just ended up with a headache.  Not what I was looking for.  –mundane

Nice to see an Eastern European strain.  Sorry it wasn’t better

Grade: C-

Type: Hybrid (Indica dominant)

Price: $53/5 grams

Looks: Medium/dark green with burnt-orange hairs.  White and cloudy trichomes.  The pictures actually look better than how it does in person.

Smell: Mildly fruity, wet wood undertone.  Rather underwhelming.

Taste: Mostly minty.  A hint of citrus.  And something else that’s not supposed to be here (explained below).

Buzz Type: Full on head stone.  Eyes relax to the point of losing focus.  Medium couch lock.  Hunger stimulator.  Homework ruiner. Not "fun".

Buzz Length: Medium.  High kicks in instantly when ripped from a bong, about 5 minutes after a joint.  Peak comes and goes quickly, followed by a brutal comedown 1.5 hours after your first hit.

Overall: First off this batch wasn’t properly flushed.  Hitting it reveals the fertilizers the grower neglected to clear out before harvesting.  I’m not sure how much this affected the buzz type, but the taste suffered as a result.

This particular strain from Prague is only useful for alleviating a variety of pain issues localized in the head.  However, you won’t want to do much of anything when on it, unless smoked while in a very upbeat mood already.  I don’t like weed that stones my head out -but if you do, then this is your guy.  –edrag87

I love receiving reviews from all parts of the country…and the world.  From long time smokers to newbies.  I think (and have been told by many of you) that this is a great place to get a bit educated, as we have some awesome reviews and even more knowledgeable members. 

That brings me to this review.  It was sent in noted as a sativa dom hybrid with what clearly seems to be a sativa high.  We all know that GDP is an indica.  I would never not post a review because of incorrect info, as I see it as an opportunity for everyone to learn.  I will categorize it as an indica…but now I’m curious….what WAS Arhjay smoking?

Type: Hybrid (Sativa dominant)

Price: $20/gram, $70/8th

Looks: Dense, dark green nugs with lots of orange hairs and hits of dark purple throughout.  Whomever grew and cured this did it perfectly, the nugs seemed to expand whenever you ground them up.  I always seemed to grind up too much for one bowl because of how much it expanded.

Smell: Like a bunch of berries and a slight hint of that signature marijuana smell.  I had less then a gram of it in my pocket sealed in a bag and as soon as my friend got into the car she asked why the car smelled like blueberry pie.  My other friend got in the car later while it was still in my pocket and said that the car reeked of berry smelling bud.

Taste: Like the smell, the smoke seemed to "expand" as it entered your mouth.  I’m not sure how to describe otherwise, but if you have had bud that was "expanding smoke" you know what I mean.

Buzz Type: Creeper…ish?  Whenever I smoked it out of a bowl it seemed to be a creeper but whenever we used a bong it went straight to the head.  It was pretty odd but still great.

Buzz Length: Very long.  For mainly a sativa it lasted pretty long when smoked.  I made a "Firecracker" and put less than .5 g’s in it and was seriously high for 8 HOURS.  It seemed to come in waves of intense head high then mellowed out a little, but not much.

Overall: This bud was amazing, and the 2 hour drive to get a free cut was well worth it.  –Arhjay

Looks: Wispy leaves entangled through tons of orange hairs and tiny green buds covered in trichomes.

Smell: Fruity with hint of sour, amazing.

Taste: I’ve been congested for a while now, so the taste isn’t very strong, but there was a sour taste to it.

Buzz Type: Hits you after the third or so toke, then it crushes you.

Buzz Length: Long.  A good 2 hours with no crash at all.

Overall: This bud is sooo sticky it’s unreal.  This is great homegrown bud that had a lot of care given to it.  –Arhjay

First time review from PatientX.  Hmm…a purple that is a sativa.  Interesting.  I have never heard of this strain.  Anyone with genetic info?  Or just another made up name?

Looks: As you can see by the pictures, I had to share this because of it’s sheer beauty.  Definitely one of the best purple specimens I’ve ever received from anyone, anywhere.

Smell: In the bag this stuff has a skunky smell that stings your nostrils.  Grind it up and take a whiff and the skunky smell fills your nose long after you’ve take the grinder away from your nose.

Taste: Tastes great, although when I really milk the bong up I tended to cough up a lung.  Nice small hits really brought out an almost sweet taste without coughing.

Buzz Type: It doesn’t give you that stoned feeling that locks you in the couch but it does give you the munchies which might leave you on the couch munching out like I was.  This also gives you a lot of energy I felt like. 

I smoked maybe 2 grams of this over a couple hours with a few friends and I never felt a crash, never felt tired.  That was a few hours ago and it’s 2am now.  During the couple hours we were smoking I was ripped and full of laughter, we all were!

Buzz Length: Long.  I was definitely high for a couple hours after last intake, really never felt a crash just mellowed out.

Overall: Definitely happy with this stuff although it’s not good for going to sleep.  I have work at 8am!  –PatientX

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a straight OG Kush.  Enjoy!

Looks: Perfectly cured and manicured, all the buds were about the size and thickness of my pinky or smaller.  Very dense and totally covered and perfectly matured trichs!   Had a nice blend of various shades of green and littered with red pistils. (Sorry for the poor pics, me and my buddy used a camera phone.)

Smell: This bud wreaked of Kush, a very strong earthy, spicy aroma that was paired with this mouth watering citrus.

Taste: Almost identical to how it smelled.  Overwhelmingly kushy, not so much citrus but that’s ok because I love that kush taste.

Buzz Type: Super strong, this smoke had massive chest expansion when inhaled and all of it rushes straight to your head.  I was floored after my first rip out of my buddy’s Illidelph.  This bud literally made me break out in sweats instantly…the birds sang and the sun shined..I was in love   This is the definition of Indica buzz, very stoney, cerebral high that lasts and lasts, which brings me to…

Buzz Length: Long – I went almost 2 hours off 2 rips which is a long time for me.

Overall: This is the best version of OG Kush that I have had the privilege to come across. Super delicious and potent out the caboose, had me coming back for more every other day..literally. 

I recommend this to anyone who loves their indicas, or more importantly, loves amazing bud.  This bud is perfect for someone looking for increased appetite, have trouble sleeping or just in need for a wonderful high.  –nycdgrower

Looks: First thing that came to mind was "man oh man is this bud leafy."  This is my first time with Green Crack and I don’t think this version does it justice at all.  Orange hairs, Ninja Turtle green with some purple leaves here and there, and a light layer of frosting.

Smell: Super piney with a little bit of a sweet spice.

Taste: Tasted kind of harsh, could be due to the poor grooming/growing or it wasn’t flushed thoroughly.  When you exhaled through your nose you could really taste/smell the pine.

Buzz Type:  This Green Crack wasn’t as potent as some of the other strains I’ve had lately.  Starts in the head and slowly slithers down to the rest of your body, not as social as the other sativas I’ve had which make me think its a hybrid.  Not a clear high of any sort, made me sort of space/zone out and not pay attention to much going on around me.

Buzz Length: Short – maybe an hour, I ended up blazing my entire half 8th that I had purchased before the night was over.

Overall: Like I said before, this version of Green Crack I don’t feel does the name any justice and priced too high for its quality (or lack of).  I was expecting to get my socks knocked off but I guess you’ll have that sometime. The buds were way too leafy for me, but I do remember having some killer munchies. 

I would recommend trying this if you haven’t, I’m sure not everyone’s was like mine and I can definitely see its potential.  –nycdgrower

Looks: Amazing!  Bright and colorful covered in sparkles.

Smell: Dank is the best word I can come up with.  It really doesn’t smell like OG or G13, it’s hard to describe.  It’s not spicy, it’s not sweet, it’s not earthy, it just smells like good pot.

Taste: Like it smells.  It doesn’t really pull you in any direction, again just dankness.

Buzz Type: I was surprised, it really hits you in the head at first, and that stays with you for an hour or better before the body buzz kicks in and slows you down.  No burnout with this one, nice smooth comedown.

Buzz Length: Long. This stuff has some legs to it.

Overall: This plant grows all over the place.  I had it in the corner of my little grow closet, and the tops were popping up through other plants, 2-3 plants away.  It doesn’t yield too bad indoors and this is the first year I have it in the outdoor garden.  Easy to grow, not too fussy.  Good taste, good buzz,  good look.  –wheezer
