Looks: Extremely frosty and bright red hairs.  Very resin-y and very very sticky.  The tips of the buds are significantly darker shade of green than the inside. The multiple shades of green make this bud look extraordinary.

Smell: Really piney, extra sweet OG kush smell!

Taste: Typical OG taste but with a twist.  The Platinum is noticeably sweeter and smoother.  There is no bitter aftertaste.

Buzz Type: Hard Hitter!!  Smooth but VERY strong.  Probably not going to be able to do much after consuming.  Very lightheaded high.  Instant couch lock.

Buzz Length: Medium.  1-2 hours.  This bud is very powerful.

Overall: Platinum has got to be – if not my favorite – then definitely top 3. 

No matter when you smoke this bud or no matter how much you have smoked this bud it will always get you to where you want to be….far far away.  –Rustee305

Looks: Light green with skinny ginger hairs.  Almost white from the crystals.  Perfectly sized nugs to be able to appreciate the overall goodness of the bud.  When broken open, the trichs just ooze out.

Smell: A very distinct citrus smell along with that signature kush smell.  A hint of diesel can be detected at first whiff.

Taste: Smooth on the inhale, sweet on the exhale, with a noticeably piney aftertaste.  Immediately tingles your lungs until the moment you exhale the Skywalker OG.

Buzz Type: Immediate.  It is pretty incredible how fast you feel the high after the exhale.  Not only does it come on quick, but becomes more intense as a few minutes pass.

Buzz Length: Long.  2-4 hrs.  If only there was more of this strain around to enjoy!

Overall: Louisville slugger!!  Does some damage on the eyes and the lungs.  Instantly feel your eyelids get heavy and if you smoke enough you might be able to feel your eyes getting red.  (Clear Eyes is a must!)

Looks: Bright green with thick orange hairs and some purple hint to a few of the leaves.

Smell: Skunky and sweet.  Some buds had a more skunky smell and some had a bit more of the grapefruit come through, all very pungent.

Taste: Just like the smell, it depended on the bud.  Very strong taste either way, the flavor sticks to your tongue for a while.

Buzz Type: A very good mix this turned out to be.  The buzz is relaxing but very functional.  Could be a little stronger though.  Does good for my nausea.

Buzz Length: Medium.  Well this is the bad part of this review and why it got an A-, the buzz wears off too fast for me about 1 1/2 hours…longer for some but I was needing a toke a little sooner with this than something I would have given an A or A+.

Overall: This medicine did well for me in the morning, as to where the White Rhino I have been smoking is a little much for the morning, makes me want to go back to sleep.  This I can function on very well.  It doesn’t make me sleepy. Great taste, smell, and buzz.  I just wish the buzz lasted longer.  –Stapleface

Grade: A.  This is self grown so I asked those who have smoked it what they would give it.

Type: Hybrid – from Greenhouse Seed Company

Price: N/A

Looks: Some buds are dense, some a little fluffy, some dark green, some light green, brown/orange hairs throughout, pretty coated with trichomes.

Smell: It’s funny how it works out but the lower buds have a musty smell and the buds that were higher on the plant have a sweet smell.  Kinda hard to explain the smell but very sweet.

Taste: The buds that smell musty have a hash like taste to them and the sweet smelling ones taste kinda piney and sweet.

Buzz Type: Nice body buzz mixed with a good head high.  In lower quantities I can function pretty good.  In higher quantities it will put you on the couch.  Helps my nausea and helps me sleep at night.

Buzz Length: Long.  2+ hours depending on tolerance.  Beats my sister up pretty bad.  She can only take 2 hits and has to stop and she is good for about 4 hours, so very long for people with a lower tolerance.  Decent length for those with a higher tolerance.

Overall: I like this cannabis a lot.  It really helps me with my health issues.  It has great taste.  I like both the hash taste and the sweet taste. 

I wish it could have gone all the way but an early harvest was necessary due to farmers.  This was grown outdoors, all organic.  But I still got just about 6 ounces maybe more off one plant (dry weight).  –Stapleface

I was pleased to read about a new, and top notch, strain:

Looks: Light green throughout and frosty all over with light red to almost brown hairs.

Smell: Spicy is the first thing to come to mind when taking a big whiff out of a jar of Halloween.  It really doesn’t have an overpowering smell like most 100% Indicas do.  You know that skunky smell .

There is a sweet smell that comes in right behind the spicy smell that when combined smells like a one of those spice drop candies you ate when you were a kid.  Or maybe still do.  Damn, I wish I had some of those right now.  I have the munchies all of a sudden.

Taste: The taste is much like the smell – very subtle.  I can taste the spice and the sweet.  But not a real strong taste by any stretch of the imagination.  It is really smooth tasting bud. 

I am using an 18″ Jerome Baker Water Pipe “Bong”.  It is sparkling clean and has a little bit of ice in it, but I’m betting that it would be smooth no matter how you smoked it.

Buzz Type: It is a strong strain. Very good for relieving pain.  Acts like a mild sedative.  Great for relaxing.  It will numb you out and lock you to the couch really fast.  It was suggested to me by the budtender at the S.C.P.C. because it works great for headaches.  He was right – it has got me really mellow right now and I am stoned to the bejezzuz!

Buzz Length: Long.  2 1/2 – 3 hours on two bong rips.

Overall: I am really happy the budtender suggested this strain because it is great!  They are firm, well manicured smooth tasting nugs that are super potent.  I love trying a new strain that I have never heard of before.  This one is a winner.  I would have given this an A+ if it had a more intense flavor.  It is still a strong A.  I strongly suggest giving this one a try.  –SantaCruzMts

An edible review just in time for the holidays:

Looks: Like a piece of homemade rocky road confection.

Smell: When I unwrapped this thing it was all about the smell of chocolate – dark, rich, sweet chocolate.  I smelled a little marshmallow smell and a very, very tiny amount of the green butter.

Taste: It tasted wonderful.  It was a sweet chocolate marshmallow walnut treat that melted in my mouth.  It had the very slightest taste of green butter while eating it but none of that really green aftertaste.

Buzz Type: Mellow body and head high.  Not very strong.  I could have done a rip off of the old bong before I ate the little treat and I would have been better off.

Buzz Length: Medium.  1 1/2 hours.

Overall: I would say I really enjoyed the Canna Roll while eating it much as I would the rocky road confections my grandma makes at x-mas time. 

Having said that, it really didn’t get me that high.  Maybe it’s one of those things where you have to eat a couple or something.  But at $7 each I don’t think I could afford enough to do the trick. 

I believe that most of these edibles such as cookies, brownies and confections are made using green butter.  I do know from experience that green butter – when I have made it at home – sometimes separates and the clear stuff on the bottom is super strong, while the more cloudy stuff on the top is not as strong.  I always mix it before using it in any recipe. 

I am sure whoever is making edibles and selling them through a dispensary would know that, and would make sure their butter is well mixed before making a batch of any edible. Maybe it was just a weak batch. I will give them one more try someday just to be fair. It was really tasty.  –SantaCruzMts

Hmm,  its been a while, but I have the opposite understanding.  I thought when the butter and water separated during the hardening process the butter on top was the more potent.  Thoughts?  –Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: Beautiful orange and white hairs cover semi-dense lime green golf ball size buds. Large amount of crystal production, fingers sticking together for sure after rolling a fat jibb!

Smell: A strong pine smell with a skunk undertone.  I would not carry this in anything but a plastic container, otherwise it will smell up wherever you take it.

Taste: Fantastic. It was a very expanding smoke, smooth but still strong at the same time. Leaves a great taste in your mouth like a great kush would taste.

Buzz Type: Overwhelming. I’m having a hard time writing this review that’s for sure. Classic couch locking buzz. Had some great conversations with my friends during the session.

Buzz Length: Medium-long.  It’s been about 2 hours and I’m still feeling pretty good off a gram joint, but could use another one.

Overall: I’d say it’s one of the better strains that has come around and for the price you can’t beat it. The taste is amazing, the smell is great, and the buzz is greatly overwhelming. Hope this bud stays around for a while.  –KushManJockin

Looks: Looks like the picture you imagine in your head the first time you herd that there was purple weed. Amazing, best buds I’ve ever seen. Dark purple, bright orange, light green, and raindrop crystals surrounding every inch of it all.

Smell: Phenomenal. Fruity Pebbles, grape Kool-Aid, skunk, all rolled into this purple package of pleasure.

Taste: Has a good kush taste but that’s barely noticed because its overpowered with a great fruit salad explosion. No coughing on this at all, very smooth.

Buzz Type: All over the body, physical and mental, kind of knocked me out and made me pass out. Loved smoking this before bed or even as a wake-n-bake on days I had nothing to do.

Buzz Length: Long.  Smoked 3 bowls between 2 people out of the zong and was fried for a solid 2.5 – 3 hours.

Overall: Little pricey but I don’t mind that at all. Hands down the best “purps” I have ever smoked in my entire life. The most beautiful thumb size nuggets just make my heart warm up inside.  –KushManJockin

Looks: Medium-sized dark green buds that look fluffy as hell. Almost every square millimeter is COVERED in layer after layer of white trichomes, making the dark green leaves appear to be a much lighter shade at first glance.

When broken apart, the center of the bud reveals a pale green hue and you can see the gooey-ness glistening with the naked eye. Patches of light orange hairs top off these eye candy buds.

Smell: Stinky and delicious like a cross between Durban Poison and Sour Diesel.

Taste: Tough to put my finger on any specific flavors that come through. It’s a fairly smooth smoke.

Buzz Type: Strong buzz for both body and mind! If you only smoke a bowl, you get indica relaxation and mild to medium sedation, but not too heavy due to the 40% White Widow sativa influence. This is ONLY if you just smoke a little! Any more than that and you get a strong disorienting, super mellow high with heavier sedation. This bud throws down with shorter high intensity buzzes during and just after serious cougher hits.

Buzz Length: Long. Energizer Bunny-style, it just keeps going and going and going and going….

Overall: I’ve purchased this high quality, high potency strain many times and it means business. All cannabis connoisseurs should add this strain to their repertoire. MOJO delivers a strong head buzz and a real nice body high. It makes your muscles turn to goo and feels fantastic. Only partake if you’re ready to be really blazed. It’s an excellent way to check out mentally and enjoy a very calm, dreamy high if you’re looking to escape or just relax. Amazing cross of two serious strains here!

Buzz Report: MOJO combo bowls just up the intensity of this already POTENT strain. Besides the hard hitting MOJO/hash/kief bowl I created, this combo really stood out to me:

MOJO + Neville’s Haze (straight Sativa): I mixed equal parts MOJO and Neville’s Haze (up to 23% THC – slightly higher than Super Silver Haze). This helps balance the strong Indica influence of MOJO so you can smoke more and keeps your energy and coherency up. Let me tell you, one good cougher hit I took rendered me utterly incapacitated in the moments following exhale. This was an unbelievable combination!  –darling.nicki
