Looks: Big is the only quality that stands out. Some buds were the size of my fist. Very sticky, contrary to what most people say. Many noticeable trichomes, and practically covered in bright red hairs.
Smell: Refreshing, light and very "green". Smelled somewhat sweet, very herbaceous – almost like sage or a pine tree. Some friends have told me it smells like coffee to them.
Taste: Similar to the smell. Very smooth. A very light, "green" taste. Not without it’s sweetness, which was blasted through my brain every few hits.
Buzz Type: You can really tell it’s a hybrid here, but the sativa seems dominant. It was energizing, yet at the same time made me feel lighter than air. A blast of a cerebral bullet through your brain, along with the cooling sensation of a heavy indica.
Paranoia is something that most users of this strain report including myself. This is indicative of the initial sativa high, which lasts about 2 hours. My heart was pounding and my eyes were wide open. Sometimes I would get totally freaked out over nothing like a knock at the front door or a subtle detail of a room.
Not a very fun strain to smoke, but it does get you BLASTED. Almost like being drunk, your mind is very cloudy afterward and you’re likely to do something stupid. Not a good thinking high. For the last hour of the high, the indica really starts to kick in and the paranoia and energy has totally worn off. I began to feel tired and VERY soothed, like a baby in a rocking chair. This is probably the best part of the high. The world just seems to slow down a little bit.
Most of the friends who have had this strain have gone to sleep before the high was over! Critical Mass is a good nighttime high. It’s a good strain to smoke if you’re just looking to get inebriated, crash and burn.
Buzz Length: Medium. A solid 3 hours.
Overall: Critical Mass is a good high for newer smokers because of its blasting power and energy. It’s best to smoke on a clear head, in a relaxed environment where you have no obligations afterward, because you’ll be unable to do much of anything.
The primary reason this strain is popular is because it has a massive yield and awesome bag appeal once it gets into the hands of the consumers. The buds are massive! After all, who doesn’t want to buy a whole quarter as one huge nugget with no shake?

That buzz report is all over the place,you sure it didn’t have some crack pressed in between those buds smashed together to make those “big” buds? Looks like some of mexico’s finest schwag.

I live in AZ and have seen lime green ,mexican regs thats 60 dollars an oz that looks better than that. That low grade weed, passed off as kush lol
if you look by the stem you can CLEARLY see a seed. Often I wonder if I post some schwaggy bud pics if i’ll finally get a review posted, my dank pics never seem to make it in yet this does lol

i agree with wheezer, it kind of looks like the mid grade i use to smoke back in highschool. are you sure it wasnt several buds compressed together because there’s an akward stem creeping out of the middle, a common sight in most bricked mid grades. maybe a better pic would set the record straight
yeah I still believe there isnt enough info on the buzz type in these reviews, and…I havent had pain relief last 3 hours using medical marijuana…maybe 1.5 hours..
and I agree looks pretty compressed.

Some buds weren’t the size of your fist. Several buds were pressed together to make the size of your fist. Looks alot like the stuff I smoked in high school, same price too.
Hella bunk. My brokeass dad gets stuff better than that for fifty a zip. Looks like you got ripped off bro that ain’t medical grade at all you need to head out to cali and see what some real buds look like I.e. Jack herer, church og kush, white widow, granddaddy purps, etc. That shit is what real buds look like.

That’s not Critical Mass, at least none I’ve ever seen. I remember it being full of orange hairs. So much so that you almost see no green at all. Then when broken up, has very dark red undertones. Yeah, that’s not Critical Mass.

I have seed critical mass from Mr. Nice seedbank and this is not it, Critical Mass is very good. This guy described the buds to be fist sized well I saw a bud from Critical mass that weighed out to 1/2 pound, so fist size isnt shit. Critical mass is the highest yeilder of all know Cannabis strains, it is a cross between Big Bud and something else I forgot, anyway the guy who posted this reveiw is an idiot and should be shot.jk just beaten.

It’s times like these, that I’m grateful to have so many “try it before you buy it” sources. Even with a 3 hour buzz, I’d take one look at that seed and walk the other way.
Look/appearance is one of the biggest factors I rely on when dispensing product, and my reputation would get hit pretty hard if I showed up with this in hand…

Severely disappointed.
Just grew some CM and it doesnt look anything like that, but thats also bc i had them indoors. Anyways I love this strain, I will always keep it around. LARGE yields and a great high. Very clear hgih for me. I would give mine a b maybe b+, but im a hard to please

This herb could not do the trick for me there is an obvious seed in the first picture. If it gets u where u need to be, for that price, I would’nt complain to much.
