Not since back in high school when my friend Rudy would hook me up with 1/8th’s of Chocolate Thai have I smoked something that tasted like real chocolate. Chocolope from Green Place coffee shop took 3rd place overall in the 2008 Cannabis Cup. I am surprised there was not a wrapper on it that said HERSHEY!

Price: Appx. $12/Gram
Looks: Very frosty. Tight green nugs with dark orange hairs.
Smells: Like a Hershey’s Kiss.
Taste: Hint of chocolate with strong bitter taste. Very unique.
Buzz Type: Hard hitting buzz. Was great for walking around the city.
Buzz Length: Long. Only 1 joint for an entire afternoon of walking was all I needed.
Overall: Sorry I don’t have better pictures. I did not hear about this bud until later in my trip and my camera had already taken a beating. This is some kickass marijuana. I have a feeling if Green Place had the $ behind that some of the other shops have, Chocolope would of won 1st prize. Definitely a Top Pick for me.
Buzz Report: I ground up 1 gram of Chocolope and rolled into 1 big joint. Smoked it as I walked around uptown Amsterdam. Was one of the best highs I felt all week. –Chubbs

Sounds good. The taste is something I want to experience.
I did not like it as much as I like Super Lemon Haze. Something about the strong lemon taste that I really liked.
Had Chocolope from here and the grey area…liked the grey areas better. It truly does have a hint of chocolate in the aroma…some tasty stuff. Genetics are an old school chocolate thai from the 80’s crossed with cannalope haze. Thanks DNA
Every time I went to Grey Area I got so damn baked smoking Grey Martian I forgot about the Chocolope.

One of the tastiest bit of buds i’ve ever came across… however personally I couldn’t taste any chocolate, but it was very tasty if you rolled a fatty. Potency wise wasn’t amazing but good enough and the taste kept me going back for more! Mine was from Grey Area and one of my faves from the trip!
I knew an old jamaican guy in NYC when I was younger, he always had great herb, but one time, just once, we traded him cell phones (back then big motorolla flip phones lol) and he gave us one huge bud out of his personal garbage bag, OMFG I cannot even explain, Never ever in my life has anything come even close to it, it looked like a giant spider, no way to even explain because you simply wont understand, it was that incredible. A friend and I scissor cut up a smallll amount and rolled a joint. It went out half way, and we started walking. We got no further than the front yard before the ground was ZOOMING up at me with each step. It lasted a FULL 12 hours and the next joint we lit, was NO less. I wish everyone in the world could haveenjoyed some of that with me that night…because trying to even explain it is pretty much pointless.
sounds like you smoked some herb with a little pcp on it. I smoked some her that was bright green but smelled like mint. I was high for about 12 hours sounds simaler.
By the way I do not recomend smoking or ingesting pcp in any way just tosat the record straight its weed and weed only for me no tobaco just HERB!

Hey smokers….i smoked it last weekend chocolope and it smells great but the after-taste is a minor there are many more with greater taste……i liked the utopia haze and the amnesia haze was the best haze this year….awesome and strong smell and taste……best of both worlds…..greetings tim
the bud on the left looks completely different from the bud on the right? the left has more of a brownish tan tint. kinda wierd but still look like terrific buds.

It was probably takin from 2 different parts of the plant. probably the left higher up and the right lower down or on a different plant in the garden could be a lot of factors. They also could be 2 different buds. lol
Chocolope was one of my herbs mixed in my April 20th blend. The aroma after grinding even the smallest of nugs up in the palm of my hand was enough to make my nose tingle!
Also, if properly compressed a little on the bottom of the nug on the left (from the picture), you could probably fit it pretty well in a nicely unwrapped Hershey Kiss wrapper because of it’s density! What a treat I’d like to receive! haha
This is on the top of my list of strains I want to try. The smell sounds mouth-watering, and I love the complexness of a sativa high as well as their flavors, they of course tend to be higher in THC as Indicas are usually higher in the CBD’s and CBC,CBN, etc.
ABout to get some of it in ATL…..Nah, Im white. lol But so far all i heard is that its amazing. Cant wait!!!
