Thanks to everyone for all your support while I get into the groove of posting everyday. All your comments are awesome! Here is an interesting (and beautiful) review from MR member necros.
Name: Chem-og
From: Koreatown Collective (Dispensary – Los Angeles)
Grade: A
Type: Indica
Price: $20/G, $65/8th
Looks: Mid to light green with big clumps of orange hairs and moderate trichome presence.
Smell: Fresh pine, not too strong.
Taste: Typical kushy taste, smooth.
Buzz Type: What you would expect from a strong indica, hits hard. Nice head high with good focus.
Buzz Length: Long. 2+ hours off of one wake n’ bake bong hit.
Overall: This is some top medicine. The first thing I noticed was the clumps of orange pistils which give the buds a fuzzy appearance. I don’t know how they rate the THC content, but 23.33% seemed about right if you consider hash is around 30% and oil around 40%.
I thought all bud was “organic” and in reality I think it is. But the manager at my dispensary said sometimes growers will use bleach and/or other chemicals in harvesting or processing. I don’t think it actually ends up in the product that is smoked. I think the main point was the stress caused to the plants. Anyway, I’m not a grower so I don’t know what he was talking about. But this bud is certified organic meaning no bleach or chemicals used, purest water and dirt, no stress caused to the plants and extra light used in growing compared to other strains.
Buzz Report: I did a wake n’ bake with this stuff two days in a row just to make sure it was as strong as I initially thought. The answer is “YES”! – necros
Yes, most growers use chemicals – though I am not familiar with the use of bleach. The last cycle of the budding process should use just pure water to flush out all additives – everything used during the growing process. Also, I do know that a few dispensaries (not sure which, would have to ask Mr. Chubbs) send their medicine out for THC content testing. This may be one of those dispensaries. – Mrs. Chubbs

Purple Wheelchair – The name says it all…another strong wake n’ bake bud. Sadly this dispensary has closed. Has anyone seen this strain out there lately?
Blue Cheese – Another strong head high strain.

I just saw that necros sent in a follow up to the review:
OG Kush is actually a sativa Dominant. Chem is actually 60/40 sativa. Sour D, OG Kush and Chem are all related.
Thanks necros for keeping it accurate! – Mrs. Chubbs
I think it should be noted that good hash/oil is way higher than 30-40%. In fact I have read a review here of Greenhouse Ice that was around 58% THC. Oil is even more concentrated, the best oils being nearly 90%.
That said; this strain looks and sounds incredible. Great review!
i remember hearing that THC testing in itself is flawed. I think it was marijuana man. ill dig up that vid just to see what people think.
Sounds like a great strain also!
video is 12 mins, in 2 parts of 6.

Wow this review was a long time ago, I’ve learned a lot since then! Also this review caused me to research the genetics a little more before sending in a review. This strain is actually a hybrid, thanks Mrs. Chubbs for catching the follow up e-mails!
This is an organic strain of Chemdog (if i were to guess pheno #4). These were popcorn nugs but quite strong from what I remember, very good one-hit-ness.
A note on growing organically: I think the main difference is that organic nutrients come from organic sources, ie: blood, earthworm casings, guano, etc. Other non-organic nutrients come from chemical-related sources. (hehe I’m growing a little now too)
Soooooo Glad That Reviews Are Coming In Everyday !
Good Work Mrs. Chubbs.
Very nice review and a beautiful strain! If I ever see this strain I’ll pick it up if it looks as good as yours. That first picture is super enticing. OGs are my favorite and Chem Dawg is a great strain!
Agreed, it’s so great to have new reviews everyday. Thanks Mrs. Chubbs, keep it up!
yea looks good about to come up on that flavor soon in 718
awesome looking strain. loving the daily reviews! keep up the great work Mrs.Chubbs
You are correct jbone204. THC percentages are pretty flawed. Watch this video, it is very informative. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grFYYkAFsRo
Necros, how long did it take for this submitted review to get posted? Just want to gauge this since I have 3-5 reviews ready but don’t want to submit them if they are going to be in limbo for months.
awesome review. I gotta say a recent review of pre 91 chem is calling my name.
Just submit the reviews! As MR has proved to me they will be posted eventually! (I’m hoping the bong review I did will be rejected, I was pretty baked!!)
Yes, I’m working on all reviews being posted
At this time, I’m holding off on product reviews (don’t worry about the bong review, necros) because we have so many buds to look at.
Sorry about no review this morning. Thought Mr. Chubbs was gonna put something up.
More delicious buds on their way….
- Mrs. Chubbs
that is some delicious looking marijuana for sure!
got some from the NCPCA in la habra, great buds.. very smooth, nice kushy taste but not strong.. awesome buzz out of my bubbler..
Pine smell, kushy taste sounds like some standard Chem dog crossed with OG
hm thats pretty cool to get the actual thc content. im sure the sample sent in was of the finest part of the finest bud, but even if thats the case, this stuff looks nice.
i just got 10 chem valley og seeds [california connection]from harborside for 100$. looking for a good male. great review and pics!
I believe many strains are misnamed. Many are a chosen pheno of a bubblegum or mixed indoors. CHEMDog should smell and taste like industrial cleaner. Heard of Jack’s cleaner? Like soap or perfumed deoderizer. Heard of Durban (poison). That’s the Chemical Dog. Like chemicals. There’s no “bleach” or anything like that added to the water. Do we add grape flavoring to the water ? I think not.
