Looks: Great. Medium size tight buds with lots of crystals.
Smell: Smells great. Citrus sweet smell.
Taste: Very sweet, clean, lemon-like taste. Great smooth smoke.
Buzz Type: Immediate head cloud. Strong but functional. Hard hitting.
Buzz Length: Long. I was pretty high for almost 2 hours.
Overall: This is one of my personal favorites. Some great marijuana from a top notch dispensary. –bea-ster03

This is a hard hitting indica for sure. We get this as Chem/Dawg. I’m thinking it’s related to Sour D, as they both have the same sour citrus taste, with the Sour D having more of a pronounced lemony smell. This and Sour D both have a similar effect on me. Hits me behind the eyes, which seems like I can actually feel them getting red. I don’t get to try the Kush that all you lucky Cali smokers get, but my novice skills tell me this could be some kind of sister plant. This was rumored to be in Amsterdam and was entered in ICMag’s cup last spring, at least Rez’s version. If I’m not mistaken, Amnesia Coffeeshop sells this as Topdawg.
Yeah we get it as Chemdawg as well. Can go either way. Actually I think Chemdawg is the proper way to spell it. I am just too lazy to go back in and change the name.

thats real nice and everything, but you r paying way to much for that. I live on the east coast and can get that for 50 an 1/8, but thats just my connect. If ur living in Cali. u should be paying no more than 50 an 1/8, 180 a half, and 350 an O for that strain.

Ya, I picked up some of this from the very same place. Long lasting, extremely potent, and great for creative endeavours. I also found it be a very socialable strain.
I heard it’s a Skunk1xSourD cross that came from Colorado back in the early 90s.

Oh yea…you might be able to find some choice nugs on the east coast if you run into an experienced grower but, the quality is just not the same as the medical stuff coming from Cali. Like, you might be able to get an Oz of Chemdawg D for $350 on the east coast but, it’s not going to compare to a $460 Oz of Chemdawg D on the west. But, that’s just been my experience. I live on the east coast and smoke mostly all Cali weed just because it’s that much better.
Hey, saw your post. I’m in SoCal, my shop closed so I’m looking for a new dispensary. Was paying same as you noted, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more depending. Have all legal documents needed. Have early onset of crippling arthritis, they think may be RA. Would appreciate some help.

I also heard great kushs and diesels have some chemdawg in their lineage.This pic looks like a good representation. Like once a yr. we get a great chemdawg @ 25-30/g with a 1 gm. limit dispensary sold out 2/lb. in 6 hrs.Keep in mind everything depends on how the vendor grew said strain.I always laff when peeps from non medical states claim how they pay less than Ca. yea maybe they know someone but more than likely its not the same quality.Ca. has 500 dispensarys & 500 delivery services half in the LA area alone.Even A-dam has only 40 coffee shops.Ca produces 1/2 of the US #1 crop.Dispensary prices can be as low as $125/z-$500/z and everything in between.A typical dispensary has 20 strains of bud 3-7 varieties Hash&Kief plus edibles.Even peeps in the other 12 medical states,Canada&Europe do not have the set-up we have here in Ca.(A-dam has good quality so does Canada)We have great quality as well as quantity.AND YES OUR PRICES ARE STILL TOO HIGH but the vendors set the prices.Hopefully our new Pres. will help

I get huge donkey dick nugs of this, the aroma is undescribably and the taste is incredible! This has a very intense high normally leaving me pretty retarded. GOOD STUFF!! Smells just like citrus also. =]

That’s definitey not Chem Dawg. Chem looks exactly like Sour D. Besides smelling them, anyone would have a hard time distingushing between em. Chem has no scent of citrus. Real Chem smells simular to gasoline or acetone. Accoring to the cannibus bible It’s orgins are from a seed from a dead show. Simular strains to chem are…. Sour d, Og kush, Headband. Chem D in my opinion has the smoothest finish, outta it’s family.

growth with buds that grow on top of branch like if an arm is stretched
out and nuggs were lined up then going vertical. Low producer.
Rock hard buds gleaming after 5 weeks. Hates to be cloned.
I think the Jacky white will cancel or remedy weakness I’ve seen

In Ontario, Canada the average person, who doesn’t have a mj medical card, will hardly every have access to “named” strains. For 10+ yrs I fell into that category. Luckily I meet the right people and my world changed. Now I have access to unlimited strains, such as: LA Confidential, Sour Diesel, OG Kush, Purple Kush, Green Crack, Candy Kush, Triple Jack Herer, Pineapple Skunk, etc, etc. I look forward to submitting some reviews. Prices range from 150-320oz, never exceeding the 320 mark.

Just got some Dog here (SoCal), $25gm, $450/oz. The dude said it was better than his Master Kush, and there were people who swore *that* was the best they ever had. Got a few strains to go through before I work myself up to trying it though.
this chem dawg looks exactly like the chem i got a few months back mail order from cali… delicious bud- almost a sour smell and taste to the batch i had.. a real clean taste and high.
just picked up some chemdawg today, never tried it before. it looks very light green, with some darker leaves, pretty fat well grown buds, minimal leaf or stem. smells fruity and chemically, when i break it open my whole house reeks. nice coating of thc, taste is sooooo smooth and lemony. and im so wrecked, but i feel relaxed. very impressed with this strain so far
@H1JACK3R idk where you live but in cali u can you easily get hooked up 3.5grams for 40 dollars of some serious dank. Most dealers around here charge 250-300 an oz. Honestly screw mmj clubs they’re a total ripoff imo considering the abundance of homegrown dank here. I’m new to this site and i’m honestly shocked at the prices you prop 215 patients pay for dank. If you guys really pay 450/oz you should seriously start looking somewhere else. @Jd those are the prices i used to pay when i lived on the east coast.. lol

Yeah the chemdiesel was going around Chicago for the past few months now. I’m personally sick of it, but you take what you can get out here.
I did manage to just get some Chemdawg a few weeks ago and that stuff kinda looked like these pictures. It was WAY BETTER then the chemdiesel I got, but it also was a very KILLER batch that cost more too. Review to come ;]
better deals are had through private dealers, better selections are had through co-ops. Because im a loyal customer i get deals like 4grams for $50 of some headband/og/master/purple/sour, shit they would try and sell for a min of $60 per 8th at any co-op.

I do not see how people say east coast dank is not the same as the west coast dank, I have just moved to montana[medical state just like cali] from Pa and i must say the quality is the same. i find it to be a lower producer. nice lemony/piney kind of scent once cured. scrawny buds so indoor i find pruning down and growing more plants in same space gives me some bigger nugs with relatively the same yield per tray. they’re tall as hell to be ready to top them if your indoor. average taste in hydro, yummy in soil (of course). not something i will dedicate an entire tray too again, but might grow some for myself.

You guys are lucky to get prices like that up there we cant get more than 40 or 50 dollars an 8th here in Tahoe. We got a few different kinds of diesels here like the “Headband” and “Casey Jones”, i like those alot as well as the Chemdog.

I believe many strains are misnamed. Many are a chosen pheno of a bubblegum or mixed indoors. CHEMDog should smell and taste like industrial cleaner. Heard of Jack’s cleaner? Like soap or perfumed deoderizer. Heard of Durban (poison). That’s the Chemical Dog. Like chemicals. There’s no “bleach” or anything like that added to the water. Do we add grape flavoring to the water ? I think not .
i get that cali has great quality but so do other medicinal states and all of canada, it comes from all over and varys in price. get over it
