Name: Chem Dawg
From: West L.A. Cannabis Club (Dispensary – Los Angeles)
Grade: A
Type: Hybrid
Price: $20/G (Normally $35/G)
Looks: Intermixed darker and mid-lighter green shading. Smaller dense buds covered in golden fuzzies and scattered with short burnt orange hairs.
Under the Microscope this glowed almost completely golden yellow and just seemed to radiate light.
Smell: Fairly piney, the smell was not too strong but not too subtle.
Taste: To be perfectly honest, I really was not focusing on the taste with this one. The actual experience of smoking itself perked up different senses as it went along and the taste didn’t stand out to me as comment worthy. Nothing special.
Buzz Type: Great for me-time, laid back social settings, and just mellowing out at home with a pinch of trippy, a dollop of that indica body high (not quite couch lock but it’s not far off), and a refreshing dash of energy and imagination.
Buzz Length: Long. Smoked an average size bowl and the high was still lingering after 2 hours.
Overall: A very enjoyable high, a fun romp with quality hybrid qualities that give you the goods from both the sativa and the indica sides. I had a gram that I forgot at a friend’s for 2 weeks, then I got it back and had a few other amazing strains, so this got lost in the shuffle.
I smoked this last Chem Dawg bowl as the first of the day to get the Chem Dawg experience straight up, and I am glad I did. I like this kind of fantastical, road-trip-for-the-mind, day-at-the-beach relaxed body high.
BTW- Since first writing this review I’ve made a couple repeat purchases of Chem Dawg. It’s quickly become a favorite around the house.

Buzz Report: After 1 hit I feel an instantaneous though low strength body high and my head’s already a little more laid back, ready to fall into a mellow groove. After 3 hits the buzz grips your mind and body as it passes through, leaving you with something to remember it by. –darling.nicki

Chemdawg – Another review of the same strain but from a different member’s point of view.
Red Diesel – As long as we are mentioning high quality hybrids, I thought this one should make the cut.
Super Venom – With a name like Super Venom, I am guessing it had a couple of great parents.
Afgoo – As far as hybrid’s go, I think Afgoo has probably got some of the best parental lineage available. A true gem.

Nice review
Chem Dawg is a lovely smoke
looks different from the usual bud structure of chemdawg but sounds like a good high. Nice review and Welcome to MR darling.nicki
Yo ive had this before a blitz high 2 hours long!!!!!!
I couldnt agree more on the taste and smell of your review. I was a little worried at first, but it came through. I believe this to be a very energizing strain myself, if not smoking more than a few puffs. I have not had any couch lock what-so-ever, then again everyone’s experience is different.
i just had some too great stuff
Thanks everyone. I haven’t had this in a while and now I’m kind of missing it!
Smoked some Chem Dawg last week, some really good stuff…nice review
This is truly a great strain but the Chemdawg 91 is a far better and more rare strain!!!!
Gambit420 – would the 91 you’re referring to be from Green Angel of Malibu? They’re the only place I know that sells the 91 strains. And it just so happens I’m on my last bowl of their Super Chem #3, which was potent as usual. I’ll keep an eye out for the Chemdawg 91
omg the 91 chemdawg smells soooooooooo good, and tastes like a mix of og kush and sour d. absolutely in love with this strain.
i can definitely see what u mean by golden! though i prefer my smoke to be grown organically, id still love to give this strain a proper try.
I believe many strains are misnamed. Many are a chosen pheno of a bubblegum or mixed indoors. CHEMDog should smell and taste like industrial cleaner. Heard of Jack’s cleaner? Like soap or perfumed deoderizer. Heard of Durban (poison). That’s the Chemical Dog. Like chemicals. There’s no “bleach” or anything like that added to the water. Do we add grape flavoring to the water ? I think not !
