Looks: Very tight, dense nugs. Incredible amounts of trichomes covering every part of the bud; very frosty. Lots of long, light orange hairs.

Smell: Signature diesel smell with a hint of skunk. Made my mouth water as soon as I cracked open the bag.

Taste: Delicious. Smooth hitting and fruity on the inhale with a distinct sour tang as you exhale. Tastes fantastic out of a vaporizer.

Buzz Type: Very active and energetic high. This bud had me and two friends laughing over nothing after one bowl pack. Great weed for going out and doing stuff. Perfect for a wake-n-bake.

Buzz Length: Medium-long. Lasted 2+ hours with a very gradual come down. Doesn’t leave you sleepy afterwards.

Overall: One of the better sativa strains I’ve been able to get my hands on lately. Be careful though, once you start smoking this bud you won’t be able to stop. I wish I picked up more than an eighth! –creekush

Grade: A-

Type: Sativa

Price: $55/8th

Looks: Very dense lime nugs with lots of red and orange hairs. Decent amount of trichs.

Smell: Slightly spicy, but mainly just smelled like some chronic weed.

Taste: Tasted nice with ice in my bong but once it melted there was a strong diesel like taste, wasn’t very nice at all.

Buzz Type: Really relaxed high, wasn’t too heavy at all. This would be good for a wake-n-bake even if you have to go to work.

Buzz Length: Medium-long, about 1 and a half hours from 4-5 decent size bowls.

Overall: I liked that this bud didn’t put me to sleep or give me the old couch lock. I had been out drinking earlier and I didn’t feel sick or tired at all. Good bud but not quite A+ worthy. I will probably buy this strain again.

Buzz Report: Some friends and I just had a session around 2am after being out drinking. We mainly just sat and talked about stuff and we couldn’t stop laughing, everything was much funnier than usual, finished an 8th between us in an hour. This weed sorted us out real good. –ezrawww

Name: Silver OG Kush

From: Private Dealer

Grade: A-

Type: Hybrid (Sativa dominant)

Genetics: I was told it is a cross between Silver Haze x OG Kush

Price: $60/8th, $320/oz

Looks: Fluffy and silvery. Very light green, small buds with blood red hairs throughout. The trichs on this glittered in the light like silver dust.

Smell: Strong, but more of a hazy smell than kush. It had a bit of the kush skunkiness to it, but the first thing I thought of when I smelled this was a fresh field after a rainstorm. Kind of obscure description I know, but that’s what it says in my notes so I’m running with it – haha.

Taste: Light and hashy, but with a distinct sweet and sour aftertaste, like Sour Patch but not as sour.

Buzz Type: Light. This is a definite morning smoke. I felt energized and active after smoking a bowl of this, and halfway through a joint I found myself looking for things to do other than watch “Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia’” and play video games.

One of the more energetic OG Kush’s I have had.

Buzz Length: Short-Medium. Depending on the amount smoked this stuff had the unfortunate habit of fading pretty quickly. The peak lasted for a good 45 min-1 hour, but after that it gradually wore off until I found myself packing another bowl and lighting up just about 2 hours after initial lift off. Wish it could have been longer, but excellent nonetheless.

Overall: Awesome bud that gave me a perspective on the other kind of OG, the sativa dominant kind. I definitely enjoyed this on those sunny mornings before classes, but only wish that it lasted longer so I didn’t burn through my bag so quickly.

Buzz Report: While not the strong, knock-you-out kind of OG Kush I reviewed earlier, this definitely has its appeal. The bud looks, smells, and tastes fantastic, but its only flaw is the shortness of length.

My buddy tells me he is working on a Frankenstein project of sorts trying to cross Super Silver Haze genetics with this Silver OG Kush. As soon as I have the bud I will send in a review because it is sure to be MONSTROUS!!! –Heavyhitter88

Looks: The strain took off after the third week of growth, a true “weed”. Its growth rate is ridiculously fast as long as you don’t cramp the roots. Distinct sativa leaves, but the height is ideal for any closet.

Smell: Nice smell only during drying, nothing particularly catching until the 4th day of drying. Semi-strong scent but nothing like the skunk variety.

Taste: I have found that good tasting cannabis is “spongy” when ground up. Strong smelling and smooth tasting. Nice taste, typical taste but the catch is in the high.

Buzz Type: As the first wave of THC hits your brain, you feel a numb feeling in the back of your skull.

This strain has never let me down. Good upper, impressive length although I could do without the anxiety.

Buzz Length: Long. 2+hr strong. I love to exercise on this stain or participate in some type of strenuous physical activity (lol).

Overall: I enjoyed growing this strain. I was impressed that the seed-plant-strain delivered similar if not the same results.

Looks: Fuzzy, little beige trichomes all over these buds. Light to medium green leaves with a moderate amount of orange hairs.

Smell: Strong, pungent sour-sweet sativa smell.

Taste: Even the larger bong hits I took seemed to go down smooth and sweet.

Buzz Type: Good elation and focus, great head buzz.

Buzz Length: Long. 2+ Hours.

Overall: I’m usually not big on taste but man this stuff was fun to smoke. The quality of the buzz was euphoric without bringing you down.

Definitely a great choice for daytime or wake n’ bake. –necros

Look: Tons of crystals, with a kind of medium dark green color. Long golden-orange hairs.

Straight up, this is a top shelf OG – probably one of the best I’ve smoked.

Smell: Super strong skunk smell, with a hint of lemon pine-sol. The smell alone turns your eyes red.

Taste: A heavy OG taste, and when I exhaled through my nose it left a tingling feeling for a few seconds. This bud is not harsh, and has a lemony-OG taste to it.

Buzz Type: For me it was all in the head. Great for a wake-and-bake or anytime during the day.

Very nice social high, good for just hanging out with friends.

Buzz Length: Medium-long. 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. Like I said it’s a good social buzz and when I smoked it lasted me a good amount of time.

I smoked 2 bowls out of my mini HVY.

Overall: I think paying $70 for any eighth is ridiculous, so I bought a gram just to sample something new while they had it.

Wow – it’s just an overall stoney, tasty, kushy bud. It’s really sticky and smelly, so you know it’s bomb.

Only smoke this stuff if you like to get faded. –blairfourtwenty

Looks: This particular batch of OG Herojuana consists of fat, dense nugs which are light green with a few darker leaves here and there.

The trichomes have a slight yellow tint and the pistils are dark orange; both evenly cover the entire bud.

Smell: The smell is exactly what you’d expect from an OG strain. It has a sweet, earthy aroma that isn’t too overpowering but still manages to surprise you when you open the container.

Taste: This herb has a very strong, sweet OG flavor that lingers in your mouth well after the last toke.

It is very smooth when inhaling but makes you cough upon exhaling which, for some, intensifies its already powerful high.

Buzz Type: This bud produces a very powerful mind and body high which hits you almost immediately. After roughly 5 to 10 minutes a ‘functional’ high sets in which allows you to concentrate; however, you can’t help but sink into whatever you’re sitting in.

Buzz Length: Long. 2-2.5 hours.

Overall: OG Herojuana is a hearty smoke that is good for morning sessions. It wakes you up and keeps you focused yet relaxed for longer than most herbs and tastes great doing it. –Azhi

Looks: Looks like the picture you imagine in your head the first time you herd that there was purple weed. Amazing, best buds I’ve ever seen. Dark purple, bright orange, light green, and raindrop crystals surrounding every inch of it all.

Smell: Phenomenal. Fruity Pebbles, grape Kool-Aid, skunk, all rolled into this purple package of pleasure.

Taste: Has a good kush taste but that’s barely noticed because its overpowered with a great fruit salad explosion. No coughing on this at all, very smooth.

Buzz Type: All over the body, physical and mental, kind of knocked me out and made me pass out. Loved smoking this before bed or even as a wake-n-bake on days I had nothing to do.

Buzz Length: Long. Smoked 3 bowls between 2 people out of the zong and was fried for a solid 2.5 – 3 hours.

Overall: Little pricey but I don’t mind that at all. Hands down the best “purps” I have ever smoked in my entire life. The most beautiful thumb size nuggets just make my heart warm up inside. –KushManJockin
