Genetics: Vanilla OG x Grape Ape

Price: $55/8th

Looks: Gorgeous tiny golf balls hints of purple covered in trichomes and hairs.

Smell: Kinda of a vanilla pine mixture. Vanilla Pine Sol?

Taste: Just like vanilla ice cream.

Buzz Type: Medium – heavy big time creeper. Still creeping as I type this. Getting heavier as I speak but still not the heaviest of heavy indicas. Good to go out at night bud. Whatever gets you through the night. It’s alright.

Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 1 1/2 – 2 hours from 3 solid puffs off a bowl.

Overall: Listen, everything at CPA is A – A+. I’m not sure I’d get this one again, but it’s still an extremely high quality indica from the NUGGETRY guys. I’d rather smoke a strong sativa like Jack Herer or Silver Surfer because in an indica I’m looking for a lot of pain relief. Let’s just say it’s no Chunkle.

Buzz Report: Change this to an A+ (was originally submitted as an A). Kept on creeping and creeping and was heavier than I expected. At $55/8th I will reconsider this one if it’s on the menu and pick it up for sure. –_spoon_

Looks: Bright green Christmas trees covered in trichomes and hairs.

Smell: Citrus, pine and diesel fuel.

Taste: Pretty citrusy on the way in pretty spicy citrus on the way out. Solid taste. It has that old school kushy flavor going for it.

Buzz Type: Solid body buzz. Crept up on me. A few puffs of this is great for a night out at the bar or a concert in my opinion. Another quality NUGGETRY creation.

Buzz Length: Long – 2+ hours.

Overall: I actually prefer the NUGGETRY Funk to the Funk Master. Buzzes are similar but the flavor of the Funk I like better. Overall though still an A+ bud coming from the guys at NUGGETRY and CPA. A very solid body stone that you can enjoy any evening with. I wouldn’t call this a sleeper but it’s definitely a strong indica that relieves pain. A very cerebral bud. –_spoon_

Looks: Dense, blinged out forest green broccoli looking nugs with red/orange “hair.”

Smell: That distinct “Pine-Sol” odor toned down a bit but with added chili pepper.

Taste: For its power, this is a smooth smoking OG. A very earthy/portobello mushroom kind of taste fills the mouth when ripping a milky bong.

Buzz Type: Couch lock. The one, two, knock out punch. Ideal for intense pain relief and insomnia. This bud is NOT shy. Not a creeper. Play with this one and be prepared to “fight” if you want to stay up as your body will melt and you’ll feel as if you were on the bottom of a dog pile with all the numbing pressure this brings.

Buzz Length: Above Average to Extra Long.

Overall: Damn! A true A+ grow here – not for the faint at heart. It’s very common for me to do some business recaps for my job just past midnight daily. I took a rip of this (mind you AFTER being on a solid Sativa run up to just a hour or so before this) around 11:45pm and I was literally fighting my eyes closing within 10 minutes. I start some work past midnight and typically this work is completed within 15 minutes. Shiiiiieeet!

It was hell and I put up a good fight but, it took me damn near an hour to complete a typical 15 minute task. The whole time I was just melting away, fighting off sleep with eyes filled with pools of tears. Slept like a newborn baby but my eyes were crusted and itchy the next morning when waking up for about half hour! If you are out there dropping Vicodin pills constantly, this is what you need! Fact is, if you name something “Poison,” it better be fire and this one case where the naming of this bud is oh, so justified.

Just a word of caution, Poison OG hits hard – very hard. This is one Indica I would not medicate heavily with during the day; especially if I have “responsibilities” to do. –IE420Patient

Looks: We’ve all heard the expression, "man these looked covered in sugar!" and that would be the perfect way to describe these buds, especially when broken open. The buds are light green with bright orange hairs running throughout them, and trich coverage EVERYWHERE. Absolutely beautiful, pretty compact buds. Well grown and cured. I think the first picture sort of looks like some deep sea creature off the bottom of the ocean floor.

Smell: Smells sort of like a fruity or citrusy bud and a real pungent, cat piss smelling bud crossed with each other. It’s one of the most unique smells I’ve had in a bud. It’s not real overpowering where you open the jar of the nugs, and the whole room smells up instantly, but it is pretty pungent.

Taste: Very smooth, not too incredibly harsh on the exhale. Great taste outta the clean glass. Has a good normal nug taste to it with a hint of something else I can’t quite put my finger on, maybe some lemon or citrus of some sort. Taste is very pleasing.

Buzz Type: Right after a rip you feel the buzz come on, eyes immediately get heavy. After the bowl was down I thought I was stuck to my couch, with a huge weight on me. One of the best body highs I’ve had to date, which is impressive. I found myself watching bull riding, but didn’t notice until the event was almost over. Wow.

Buzz Length: Long. For how much I smoke, one bowl about .3 or .4 got me ripped for a solid 2-3 hours, which is fairly long for me. Very, very pleased with the length.

Overall: Loved the bud. Great buds with a great smoke and high. –Schnerp

I came into contact today with someone who does not “believe” in the medicinal uses of marijuana. I could not be anything but dumbfounded. Granted, I needed this person to do a job for me, so I couldn’t really speak my mind. But it just amazes me how people think. You smoke your cigs and drink your wine and your body is affected, right? Even heroin effects the body, albeit in a ridiculously harmful way. So why wouldn’t these beautiful flowers (more natural than anything else out there) be included? I’m sorry. Tangent. Looks: Known as a pure indica with an oddly soaring sativa like buzz. Huge. These were just huge. You bought almost a whole plant at a time.

Well, the genetics of this strain are very specific and it’s designed to grow in one main stalk with minimal side branching. The nug you see sitting in the full sized mason jar was 18.5 . What was so great is the main stalk only went up about a 1/3 of the way and didn’t even weigh .5 g which tells you how thin it was. So this was great as usually large stalks like that include a large stem.

This is also an incredibly low yielder, with about 20-24g per plant, so this is not plant for anyone looking to make money, this is one for an experience.

Smell: It is known as the Dutch aroma wonder and I can see why. It really smells like some true Afghani, kind of how Lavender has that almost silky warm overtone to the smell. It has a very earthy tone to it as well that has a cool and sweet finish from the skunk
genetics, but really just this warm, mouth watering smell that makes you want to crawl into the jar and curl up with your nug.

Taste: Warm thick smoke, like you can swish it around in your mouth almost. Mouth numbing that leaves your tongue craving more as it’s so pleasing. It really doesn’t even feel like smoke which is what is so great and makes for such a pleasing experience.

Buzz Type: Rather alarming to even some of the most experienced smokers. It is just a soaring high, that seems to just keep climbing. I mean, you think you’re ripped when you’re done smoking, but wow, it’s like a roller coaster ride.

The strain has been known for producing plants with as much as 29% THC content (as documented by a seizure in the US). This makes sense as the buzz hits right at the prefrontal cortex and scorches it like some really intense concentrates do. It really hit like a fairly powerful concentrate. By far one of the most unique buzzes I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I have a really comfortable full support smoking chair with arm rests and when you’re medicated, it just feels as if you need to grip the armrests and hold on tight because its going to be a wild ride.

Buzz Length: Medium – long…around 2 hrs with very little come down, if any at all.

Overall: Apparently, the grower is one of the only ones today who is still working with the same originating genetics from when he first began his career in the 70s. These apparently originated from 25 females and 25 males and the best were chosen and bred and this was done a few times until the perfect, potent and stout Warlock was created.

It is certainly a treat only as it yields far too little for the benefit to outweigh the cost, but if you have time and are adventurous, I strongly recommend this strain. –m1ke

Looks: Very dense, but dry and perfectly cured buds (dry on the outside, sticky towards the stem). Bright green, nice frosting of THC. Out of 28g every nug had no leaf, and was over 1g in weight. Great bag appeal.

Smell: Now I have smelled some pungent delicious strains over the years, but nothing comes close to this Grape Punch. Smells exactly like grape Bubbalicious gum, but so overpowering. It smells so damn good you just want to eat it. My favorite smelling specimen of marijuana to date.

Taste: So smooth. With a distinct grape bubblegum taste. After inhaling and exhaling my first hit, it was like I had met the girl of my dreams. The only way I can describe the taste is like this: Inhale – the smoke itself filling your mouth and lungs tastes sweet and grapey like the gum. Exhale – so grapey and delicious. Any kush I have tried thus far has nothing on this taste. So pure and amazing.

Buzz Type: Heavy indica. One may think they call it Grape Punch because it smells so good, I can assure you… after smoking this marijuana you feel like you have been punched all over the body. Very uplifting, took away my anxiety, also reduced my acid reflux. The comedown is surprisingly light. Laughing fits in public also happened 6/10 times smoking this strain. I had to leave a restaurant because I was laughing so hard I started to cry. This strain is heaven.

Buzz Length: Medium – Long. About 1.5 – 2 hours solidly baked. Great daytime smoke, which is rare with strong indicas. Another reason to be in love with this strain.

Overall: I thought I would always go back to kush as a favorite smoke… but once again BOG has blown my mind. To anyone wondering what that means, he is a seed producer with – in my opinion – the best strains on the planet. For me kush has taken a beat seat. I’m in shock that more people do not grow BOG’s strains. They are so delicious and the most profound medical marijuana experience I have ever had. The smell, taste, appearance and medicinal effect are of the highest quality. If you EVER come across any of BOG’s strains do not pass it up, it will change your opinion of what medical marijuana is. -Note on the pictures, was in huuuuge rush as my girlfriends parents made a surprise visit. –Demo11

I have not heard of BOG and after a little research see that his seeds were taken out of circulation for a time? This review was submitted as “mostly Indica” but I found that the seeds are pure indica. Also, this is the first time I have seen anyone mention acid reflux. Good to know. -Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: VERY PURPLE, somewhat dense, cured perfectly, and has orange hairs all over! This bud is so colorful and is covered from top to bottom with trichomes/crystals.

Smell: Very strong distinct purple medical smell.

Taste: Straight up best tasting purple marijuana I’ve ever tasted. If you’re a big fan of purple strains like I am this is the one strain that probably is at the top of the list for its taste alone.

Buzz Type: This strain is a very heavy hitter. Almost right after the first hit you already feel it starting to work behind your eyes. Sedative head/body high that can make you very couch locked. Great for aches/pains and works well for sleeping also.

Buzz Length: Long. 2.5 to 3 hours.

Overall: Best Purple strain that anyone could get if they’re looking for something that will just lay them out. I have been trying to type this review for over an hour now and I just keep staring off while listening to music. I’m surprised I even finished this review while testing some new GDP again with some Grape Ape topped off with some of my home brewed kief, great marijuana for sure though! –Stezz

Looks: COVERED! When I first got this strand a year back it came around 2 times and one time was purple all over and the other was just green. This year it’s purple again, but it’s so covered in trichromes and crystals that it gives off a golden hash/kief look even when ground up. I almost thought it was hash/kief at first, because the nugs were so dense and round like kief/hash nuggets are.

Smell: Kief/hash like smell with a hint of fresh green grapes.

Taste: Pretty much just like the smell. I love this bud so much, because even when it’s all burnt up it still retains a clean hit to the very end.

Buzz Type: Strong and sedative. Hits you right away, this bud is pretty much one of the best all around smokes. I can smoke this at the beginning of a day if you I don’t plan on taking care of too many serious things. Otherwise I usually find myself smoking this for more serious stress and when I can’t sleep.

Buzz Length: Long-very long. 2 to 3 hours.

Overall: One of the best buds I have ever smoked. This bud will always be in my top 5 for now on. –Stezz

Just when I thought the NUGGETRY OG couldn’t get any stronger my guys/girls came up with NUGGETRY N1 which is NUGGETRY OG pheno #1 (our flowering pheno) crossed with NUGGETRY OG pheno #4 (one of our breeding phenos). Take a look.

Looks: Miniature pinecones or big green golf balls, your pick. Each nug is wrapped in thin orange hairs and is covered in trichomes that look like they are jumping right off the bud they are so fat.

Smell: Smells “right”. Piney/diesel fuel smell hits you right when you open the jar and will linger in the room long after it’s closed.

Taste: Like most properly grown OG’s NUGGETRY N1 has a flavor that can best be described as loved by some, hated by others. Reason for this is that it just has such a strong, almost overwhelming flavor (very thick and hashy) that it can be a little too much for some. But I love it!

Buzz Type: Very strong pain killing, insomnia fighting, mind numbing indica high that is as heavy as it gets.

Buzz Length: Extra long buzz. Great thing about NUGGETRY N1 is that because the buzz lasts so long it tends to make your sack last longer. Usually.

Overall: This may be my bud of the year for 2010. I know it’s a little early to make the call, I’m just saying.

Buzz Report: I’ve been smoking a lot of NUGGETRY N1 lately mainly because this stuff calls me in my sleep.

The buds tend to be nice and big and I have yet to find one that was not just soaked in crystals.

Heavy, heavy, heavy. Beware everyone as this one packs a hard punch. Especially the come down. –Chubbs
