Border Patrol Took $7,000 And My Medical Marijuana

A few days ago I posted this video on YouTube explaining exactly what happened to me on the morning of January 14, 2010 when I was stopped at the Border Patrol checkpoint in San Clemente.

It got a ton of attention/comments so I thought I would share it with you guys.

Keep in mind that I run a 100% legal medical marijuana collective, had crossed no borders and am an American citizen.

Medical Marijuana Bootcamp Is Live!

I just realized that I forgot to let everyone know that MedicalMarijuanaBootcamp.com is live and kicking butt!

For those who don’t know, Bootcamp is the first and only 100% free medical marijuana school.

Tang and I, on our own dollar have set up a video blog that we update every day with exclusive videos that we produce/star in.

So far we have filmed 50+ hours of content and have plans to add a ton of helpful and fun videos that are unlike anything else you will find online.

The main reason we decided to launch Bootcamp is based on something Tang said one night while we were getting baked/brainstorming.

“Information wants to be free”

I don’t know if that quote is a Tang original but it definitely got me thinking. Between the 2 of us, we have access to a lot of very helpful information.

And like I always say, “it’s not just what you know, it’s who you know”. And we know everyone!

Over the coming weeks/months you can count on us adding video interviews with some of the most influential people in the medical marijuana industry. I’m talking about everyone from collective owners to growers. From black market vendors to straight laced industry attorneys.

Basically what we are trying to do is give you the ability to learn exactly what you need to learn about medical marijuana before you spend $1.

We know it is going to take some time but in a few months we will have added enough videos that anyone, I mean ANYONE can sit down in the comfort of their own home and get the education needed before getting in the game.

With so many people asking exactly what MedicalMarijuanaBootcamp.com is, Tang and I thought we’d put together a very quick video explaining what is is we are doing.

We already know the video is kind of cheesy but to be honest, they all are going to be.

Every so often we get something new in at NUGGETRY SD and the staff and I have to sit down and sample it.

I know, it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it.

Recently we got some MK Ultra pollen (very good kief) in and we decided to break a nice size chunk off of the main brick and just drop that in the bong and see what happens.

Check out the look on Ian’s face and he exhales.

He’s trying to keep it together.

He got up right after this hit and answered the front door. Said he barely made it.

2009 Cannabis Cup Videos

Right after we checked into the hotel I hooked up my laptop and in minutes I was ready to start uploading videos.

Unfortunately due to either a really slow internet connection, or some insanely high firewall settings (not sure which) I was unable to get videos to complete the upload process while in Amsterdam.

It was so discouraging that I ended up not taking nearly as much video footage as I had planned.

Either way, take a look at some of the videos that I did make.

Nothing special, just a glimpse into what it is like to attend the Cannabis Cup.

As you can see lighting was definitely one of my main issues.

I am already in the planning stages for next years trip.

Never again will I rely on my hotel’s internet connection.

I know it’s not a whole lot of video but it’s better than nothing. Amsterdam is a great city and I really wish I had time to visit during the summer. –Chubbs

The Winter Games Are Coming!

Apparently a bunch of you feel the same way I do regarding Ca. being the current marijuana capital of the world.

That being said, I think it is time for someone to organize a serious “cup style” event here in Ca. to showcase some of the serious fire that we are working with.

“Tang”, the owner of WeedMaps.com and I have been talking about doing something like this for a while and I think now the time is right.

While we don’t have too many details yet, (Tang does not even know I am announcing this ) I can tell you that we will be holding 2 separate events annually.

The first will take place in either January or February of 2010 and will be held in SoCal.

Again, we don’t have any details yet as we are still in the very beginning stages of planning the project (I know it’s short notice but that’s how I work best) but I can assure it will be by far the most entertaining event to hit the industry in a long time.

If you are not medical, get medical because the only way you will be able to attend is if you are a current California medical marijuana patient.

Over the next few weeks we’ll both be making announcements on both MR and WeedMaps with more information on the event and how you can register/attend.
