Looks: Multicolored buds with minimal leaves.  Abundant orange hairs with little hints of purple mixed in with different hues of green.

Smell: Piney and sweet.  Kush aroma but a little sweeter.

Taste: Taste was really impressive.  Joints tasted good until the very last toke.

Buzz Type: Heavy couch lock buzz with amazing visual stimulations. 

Buzz Length: Long.  Lasted about an hour to two before the high faded.

Overall: Smoked this before the new Wolverine movie.  Definitely enhanced the special effects.  Bud structure was extremely tight like most Kush.  Grinder was a must for this strain.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks: Tight buds with different shades of green along with thin red hairs.

Smell: Freshly cut assortment of fruit.

Taste: Has an orgasmic sweet taste that is unlike most other varieties. Taste is almost as good as well grown Diesel or Chemdawg.

Buzz Type: Body felt stoned and the head was in a good cerebral state.

Buzz Length: Medium to Long.

Overall: This strain has always been a special treat for me. This was the second type of weed I tried in Amsterdam on my first trip 4 or 5 years ago. It has such a distinct candy taste that lingers in the mouth. Easy to see how this won the Cannabis Cup back to back in 2001 and 2002.  -Meangreenmartian

Looks: Bright green nugs that break apart nicely. Tons of crystals all over.

Smell: Vanilla and citrus flavors.

Taste: Was hoping for a vanilla flavor that was evident in the smell but didn’t really come through on the taste. Had a nice floral taste with a hint of spiciness in the exhale.

Buzz Type: True hybrid…head was clear but the body felt nice and medicated.

Buzz Length: Medium. Smoked a fat j bird of this on the street and was high for about an hour to an hour and a half.

Overall: This was the first time I tried this strain and after doing some quick research I couldn’t really find any info on it. It was worth the money but I would probably get something different the next time.  -Meangreenmartian

Looks: White buds with red hairs and minimal emerald green fan leaves.

Smell: Grapefruit and lemon mixed together.

Taste: Has that distinct Diesel citrus flavor that never gets old and really makes it hard to exhale when it is this delicious.

Buzz Type: Uppity heady high that still kept you very alert and sharp.  This would be a great wake and bake or daytime smoke.

Buzz Length: Medium.  Lasted an hour to two hours depending on how much we would smoke at a time.

Overall: NYCD is one of the tastiest strains in the world as far as I’m concerned.  This review is from a trip I took in December of 2007.  I purchased this at the second De Rokerij location that is near the Doors 2 “Whisky Bar” coffeeshop.

There’s just something lovable about the Diesel that’s unmistakable!  –Mrs. Chubbs

Name: Sour Diesel x Great White Shark

Looks: Bright lime green color with pinkish hues and insane trich coverage.  Long orange hairs.

Smell: This Sour Diesel x Great White Shark stunk so badly that anything short of a glass jar couldn’t contain its amazing stench.  Has a fuel-y Diesel funk.

Taste: Full flavored Diesel that leaves a fruity aftertaste that is similar to Cannalope Haze.

Buzz Length: Long.  Head races for about 90 minutes.  No fogginess after that either.

Buzz Type: Such a good sativa high that gives energy and really stimulates creativity and positive thoughts.

Overall: I was extremely satisfied when a friend brought me a few eighths of this stuff.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks: Like a small piece of dark chocolate.

Smell: Incense and strong coffee.

Taste: Smooth smoke. Nag Champa/Opium tasting.

Buzz Type: Strong narcotic buzz that leaves the body slightly functional.

Buzz Length: Medium. Appx. 2 hours or so.

Overall: Not the best hash in Amsterdam, but I would kill for a couple grams of this a week in the states. Perfect for rolling up snake joints with excess greenery.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks: Emerald green nuggets that glistened with swollen trichs. So shiny it looked almost wet.

Smell: Fruit and foreign spices.

Taste: Earth, woody, Haze flavor.

Buzz Type: Upbeat, creative high that tingled the nose upon inhaling.

Buzz Length: Medium 1.5 – 2 Hours.

Overall: Legendary strain that is really unsurpassed as far as potency and overall quality. G13 and SSH are in my opinion the best hazes on the planet. I get a variety of this on every trip and have yet to be disappointed.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks: This batch looked insane. Multi-colored buds that look like they were snowed on. Layers of resin and long orange hairs.

Smell: Pine and lemon mixed with fuel.

Taste: Tasted like candy. Very reminiscent of the L.A. Confidential I reviewed.

Buzz Type: Blow to the head. Couch lock is an understatement. I am extremely seasoned and still could not work up a tolerance for OG Kush over a period of 2 weeks.

Buzz Length: Long.

Overall: I was told it was acquired from a good delivery service in NYC. You can really see how potent this bud was in the photo on top the grinder.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks: Layers and layers of crystals, bud is almost silver looking without much green. Thick red and orange hairs as well.

Smell: Had a very distinct citrus bubblegum stench.

Taste: A little bubblegum taste but mostly sweet flavors like blue raspberry and orange.

Buzz Type: Very fun high. Upbeat and social. We started BS’ing with the staff here about the different strains and even checked out the bud under one of their microscopes. Trich’s were perfect looking and amber in color.

Buzz Length: Medium to Long. We hung out for about an hour and a half.

Overall: I agree with Chubbs that the taste of this one was delicious. Every hit taken was kept in the lungs for as long as possible. Exhale tasted ridiculous. I tasted a hint of bubblegum but am still in search of a perfect batch that will taste like a fresh piece of Bazooka.  –Meangreenmartian.

Looks: Tight iced nugs with many orange hairs.

Smell: It actually smells like chocolate. A mix of a Hershey Bar with hints of Haze.

Taste: Smooth chocolate fruit taste.

Buzz Type: Energetic high with a calm stony feeling.

Buzz Length: Long. We smoked this Chocolope in a nice RooR ala Michael Phelps.

Overall: Unbelievable strain overall. This has finished second in the last 2 Cannabis Cups for a reason. Chocolope gave us serious munchies that we had to satisfy at a banging Chinese restaurant.  –Meangreenmartian
