Looks: Dark green with a mix of fiery red and orange hairs, lots of trichs.  Looks a little under-cured, and it’s fairly sticky and almost squishy to the touch.

Smell: Sort of like cucumbers and skunky marijuana.

Taste: Light and crisp, sort of like dulled sour candy.

Buzz Type: Energetic. I understand why they call this Green Crack now.  I was practically bouncing off of the walls.  I wasn’t quite giddy, but I was definitely cheerful.  Very good smoke.  Smooth hits, thick smoke.  Not very harsh at all.

Buzz Length: Medium-long.  Pretty nice. A couple hours, give or take.

Overall: Great smoke.  Another top shelf Sativa. I’m glad to see more well grown Sativa strains out there lately, maybe it’ll get Long Beach out of this "ALL KUSH ALL THE TIME" mentality.  Nothing against kush, but we need something for the mornings   Great strain, and if it wasn’t for the price this would be a great strain to keep around for daily use.

Buzz Report: Very gradual build, and it goes mostly to the head.  Very uplifting, but I also noticed a good painkilling effect.  My back was bothering me, and it helped a lot.  –Ghost Guy

Looks: Medium green, sugary, lots of hairs, fluffy.

Smell: Piney, fruity and very woodsy and green.  I don’t smell any pineapple though.

Taste: Very earthy and green.

Buzz Type: Heady, cerebral.  No couch lock at all.  Very enjoyable smoke.  Little aftertaste.  A little bit harsher than I’d like which keeps it from being A+, but great bud.

Buzz Length: Long, 3+ hours.

Overall: Great strain.  Price is higher than I usually pay, but I had to try it at least once.

Buzz Report: Very mellow and psychedelic feeling.  Very upbeat and energetic, but thoughts were clouded very easily. It was a very distracted high, but very great.  Great strain for depression if you don’t have anything to do that requires concentration.  –Ghost Guy

Looks: Looks just like thin honey with small particles in it.

Smell: Very sweet, like regular honey.

Taste: It’s supposed to be Blue Agave flavored, but I honestly don’t taste anything other than very VERY sweet honey.  Mix this if you don’t have a sweet tooth.

Buzz Type: Heavy, but clear headed.

Buzz Length: Long – Very Long.  4+ hours.

Overall: Not as strong as I would have liked.  Took half of the bottle overall, might try a higher dose sometime.  Great painkilling qualities, but didn’t put me to sleep. That could be a bad thing or a good thing depending on what you’re looking for.

Buzz Report: I was told that this bottle would last about 3-4 doses, so I started off with about 1/4 of it in my tea.  The onset was quicker and more noticeable than most edibles I’ve tried, but it topped out quick and I was left feeling like it wasn’t as strong as it should be.

I brewed up another cup of tea and put in another 1/4th of the bottle, and that left me feeling very nice.  Knee pain nearly disappeared, tension faded away and I was feeling very content.  I’ll definitely try this again with a stronger dose, I think about two thirds of the bottle should be enough for a nice experience.  –Ghost Guy

Looks: Medium green, super hairy, dusted with beige crystals.  Smaller nugs look a bit compressed, but probably just density.

Smell: Smells delicious.  Sweet and tangy with some skunkiness.  Just opening the jar makes my entire room smell like heaven.

Taste: Just like it smells.  Excellent smokeability.  Very smooth smoke, huge hits are easy, even out of a very short pipe with no smoke chamber.  Very thick on the exhale.

Buzz Type: Heavy and happy.  Great for relaxing on the couch or laying out in the sand.  A little bit too awake for a perfect sleepy time smoke, but it works in a pinch.

Buzz Length: Medium-long.  Decent.  Lasts a couple of hours, maybe more.

Overall: This is an excellent strain.  Not quite perfect for my insomnia needs, but it’s a great strain when you want something to make the stress slide right off of you.  –Ghost Guy

Looks: You can tell just by looking at it that this is something special. Nicely colored hairs, nooks and crannies are full of trichomes. Very pretty.

Smell: This smells like my default scent of marijuana. What I always thought it should smell like. Green, earthy with a nice hint of pine.

Taste: Absolutely delicious. Earthy and piney, with a distinct sweetness to it out of my Vapor Genie. Out of a pipe, it loses a lot of the sweetness, but it still has a strong, pleasant flavor.

Smokeability: Vapor Genie – Flawless. Tasty, smooth, etc. Pipe – Still very tasty, but there’s a tiny bit of harshness to it. Not enough to make me cough, even with a large toke, but I could feel it in there.

Buzz Type: Very high. Extreme positive moodshift, great mental clarity, not a hint of paranoia. Happy, almost giddy – though I did pass the line way into giddy after watching a video of a cute kitten. Very energetic, almost speedy. There is absolutely no heaviness in this.

Buzz Length: Moderate-long. An average sized bowl lasted a couple hours, maybe a bit more.

Overall: EXTREMELY nice bud. It has everything. This is my first A+ smoke. It really does everything right. This is, in my opinion, an EXCELLENT strain for those (like me) suffering from depression, loss of motivation, fatigue, etc. I also suffer from anxiety, and I don’t get the paranoid sketchy feeling that some of the really high energy sativas give me.

Buzz Report: I bought a Vapor Genie recently, and I wanted a really top notch strain to try in it. I’ve been hearing rave reviews about Jack Herer, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I also smoked it out of my regular pipe, so I’m covering both aspects in this review.

Had a moderate onset. Took a couple of minutes after my first toke to start feeling it. But when I felt it, I definitely felt it. I was first hit by a positive wave. My mindset instantly flipped to “YAY!”. After that, I was hit by a smooth rush of energy. I love that speedy feeling, and this was as smooth and as clear as I’ve felt it. It wasn’t an obnoxious energy that’s uncomfortable until you jog around to wear it off a bit, but it’s definitely there.
This is an absolutely amazing strain. If you get a chance, check it out. Unless it’s poorly grown, you’re sure to be in for a treat   -Ghost Guy

Looks: Very nice.  Nicely dusted with trichs and a few orange hairs as well.

Smell: Skunky and sour.  Very, very nice.

Taste: It had an incredibly familiar sour taste to it.  I can’t quite place my finger on it.  Very nice though.

Buzz Type: Very high.  Everything is somewhat dreamlike but you’re not mentally clouded.  There’s just a hint of heaviness.

Buzz Length: Moderate.  Couple of hours on a decent bowl.

Overall: The smoke is incredibly smooth.  Huge, thick hits without any coughing.  A couple of bucks more than most of my usual strains, but I’ll buy again.

Buzz Report: This one was a bit of a creeper.  Had light sensations after I was done smoking but it felt very weak.  A few minutes later, as I was cursing the dispensary for selling me bunk, it started to hit me.  I was extremely pleased with it.  Slight paranoia, but nothing too bad.  This is a very nice strain and it seems as though I got another great hit from the Herbal Discount Center in Long Beach.

Type: Hybrid – mostly Indica

Price: Freebie Gram – 1st visit to the dispensary

Looks: Very green.  On the dark side, very pretty.  Some red hairs, though they’re a milder red.  Pretty trichomes if you look closely.

Smell: Skunky and piney.  This stuff smells nice, if a little on the mild side.

Taste: Just like it smells – piney, skunky and very “green”.

Buzz Type: Spacey, a little stoney.  Surreal.  Trippy.

Buzz Length: Long, about a few hours.

Overall: Great relaxation strain.  It’s a bit too spacey and dreamlike to go about your daily business, so make sure you don’t have too much to do for a few hours.  Thoughts tend to wander, very trippy.  Possible visuals.

Buzz Report: Started to hit me around the time I was taking my second toke.  Peaceful and relaxed.  Fairly stoney, but not totally couch locked.  The relaxation was amazing with this smoke.  My heart was racing and I was on the verge of a panic attack.  I thought someone outside was getting attacked or something, so I freaked, grabbed my cell phone and ran outside to help.  Turns out the neighbor’s kids were entirely too loud when they’re playing outside.  Bloodcurdling screams were enough to set me off a bit.

After smoking, I was completely chilled back out.  Past the relaxation, everything was dreamlike and my senses seemed sharpened, but positively altered.  It was a bit spacey.  Very heavy behind the eyes, very heavy limbs.  Things seem a bit trippy.  Vision has an almost psychedelic quality to it.  Moving my head results in light trails.

Mood is still relaxed.  When closing my eyes…Oh, it’s beautiful.  Closing my eyes results in mild closed eye visuals.  I see mostly red, green and blue pixels.  They’re lit by the glow of my monitor seeping through my closed eyelids.  Moving my head results in white trails behind the pixels.  The pixels seemed to form a more clear circle with about 10 dots of the concentrated circles.  The dots have a sort of sizzling firework effect coming out in all directions.  Reminds me of a spirograph.  Remember those?  I really wish I had one now.  Anyone know where I can find a spirograph?  Anyone want to send me a spriograph?  That’d be rad.  Remember “rad”?  That was a great word.

Closing note – I originally started to write the basic outline of the review while I was smoking, so the details were fresh, then planned to finish it later.  Instead, I was forced into a situation where I was unable to resist the urge to turn this review into an experiment in Gonzo Journalism.  I bought the ticket, then told you about the ride while it was happening.  I hope you enjoyed it.  -GhostGuy

Looks: Very nice. My batch contained small buds that looked very dense. Nice trichome presence, and as the name suggests, the orange hairs make one hell of a showing. And darn the luck, I forgot my comb.

Smell: Mild but not disappointingly so. Earthy. Has more of a generic “green” scent than traditional scent.

Taste: Pleasant and very clean feeling. Has sort of a sweet taste. Left a noticeable aftertaste, that while fairly pleasant, lasted a bit longer than I would have liked. A little bit on the harsher side, but not enough to make me cough.

Buzz Type: Very smooth and very clean. Clear headed without a hint of heaviness.

Buzz Length: Medium. Lasted a couple hours or so.

Overall: Great smoke. A bit more expensive than I usually pay, but this is quality bud.

Buzz Report: Slow onset. I was actually able to finish toking and put away my gear before it really hit me. But when it did hit, it hit me full force. Extreme mental clarity with a nice energy boost. No paranoia or uncomfortable thoughts. This was a very uplifting high. I feel that this is an EXCELLENT strain for those suffering from depression.  –GhostGuy
