Looks:  The buds look great.  They are dense.

Smell:  Smells fruity but yet with a with a nice skunkiness to it.

Taste:  Disappointing.  Does not taste like much.  I was really hoping for a fruity taste as the smell but nothing.

Buzz Type:  Relaxed.

Buzz Length:  Medium.  1-2 Hours.

Overall:  This bud was nice enough for the price, but far from a powerhouse.  I gave this bud a C+ because of the lack in taste and the quality of the high.  There was just nothing special about this pot, just seemed like the run of the mill pot to me.  –OlyWa

Seems decent enough for the price.  I remember the days (waaaayyyyy back when) when we were young and poor and a $20 sack of this was enough to brighten our day!  All you youngsters out there already having access to the quality herb from dispensaries…well, it’s just crazy!  –Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: Like a piece of homemade rocky road confection.

Smell: When I unwrapped this thing it was all about the smell of chocolate – dark, rich, sweet chocolate.  I smelled a little marshmallow smell and a very, very tiny amount of the green butter.

Taste: It tasted wonderful.  It was a sweet chocolate marshmallow walnut treat that melted in my mouth.  It had the very slightest taste of green butter while eating it but none of that really green aftertaste.

Buzz Type: Mellow body and head high.  Not very strong.  I could have done a rip off of the old bong before I ate the little treat and I would have been better off.

Buzz Length: Medium.  1 1/2 hours.

Overall: I would say I really enjoyed the Canna Roll while eating it much as I would the rocky road confections my grandma makes at x-mas time. 

Having said that, it really didn’t get me that high.  Maybe it’s one of those things where you have to eat a couple or something.  But at $7 each I don’t think I could afford enough to do the trick. 

I believe that most of these edibles such as cookies, brownies and confections are made using green butter.  I do know from experience that green butter – when I have made it at home – sometimes separates and the clear stuff on the bottom is super strong, while the more cloudy stuff on the top is not as strong.  I always mix it before using it in any recipe. 

I am sure whoever is making edibles and selling them through a dispensary would know that, and would make sure their butter is well mixed before making a batch of any edible. Maybe it was just a weak batch. I will give them one more try someday just to be fair. It was really tasty.  –SantaCruzMts

Hmm,  its been a while, but I have the opposite understanding.  I thought when the butter and water separated during the hardening process the butter on top was the more potent.  Thoughts?  –Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: The buds were airy, slightly yellowish and not as green as others. They were very hairy and turned out to be denser than expected when ground up.

Smell: Smells like orange candy and peppery, sweet, fresh and most like one of my favorite smells of all time: Orange Pledge.

Taste: Kind of disappointing. Does not taste like much. I was really hoping Orange Krush would taste more like oranges, but it didn’t.

Buzz Type: Relaxed.

Buzz Length: Medium. 1-2 Hours.

Overall: This bud was nice enough and unremarkable. I always want to have a lot to say, but certain strains just don’t deliver much of a punch or even anything worth noting. All my notes say is: “Nice weed, nice high.”

Orange Krush gets the job done when it comes to relaxing, it does not completely couch lock you but does leave you drowsy and relaxed. It is easy to fall asleep or zone out and watch tv or listen to music and really not do much.

For being in the price range that it was I was expecting a lot more and disappointed that it delivered so little. Bit it sure did smell delicious.  –Amanda

Looks: The buds themselves were dark green and surprisingly heavy given how fluffy they look to the eye. They were covered in orange hairs and sprinkled with purple. The buds burn evenly and hit smoothly.

Smell: Slightly like citrus with lemon undertones.

Taste: The taste is very light, as though there is no taste at all other than a slightly sweet aftertaste.

Buzz Type: Relaxing body stone with some thought disturbances.

Buzz Length: Long. 2-3 hours.

Overall: Organic Mr. Nice gave me a strong body high with very foggy thoughts. Immediately after hitting the bong I became uncoordinated, discombobulated and confused. It was almost impossible to imagine that I would be able to successfully complete any task, including walking to the kitchen, packing another bowl or even turning on the TV. My muscles were so relaxed that they would not respond appropriately to the tasks at hand and I experienced a very strong couch lock.

The immediate overwhelming body high wore off within thirty minutes and left me with a much more mellow, relaxing high where I was free to be alone with my own thoughts. The high turned highly introspective and it was hard to comprehend any outside influences or anything else that could have been going on. I was only able to concentrate on the feelings and thoughts that were going through my mind. I would simply ignore things being said to me and comment on the things that I was thinking about.

For me it was not surprising when the high headed south. For some reason the budtender’s don’t always seem to believe me when I describe some of the experiences I have from certain strains (increased paranoia from a heavy indica) and convince me to try strains that won’t be right for me anyway. I know that some of my experiences are shared as my friend and I, who smoke the same strains, feel the same effects. Please don’t get me wrong, the high was very relaxing, every muscle in my body felt stretched out and completely relaxed, but the emotional side of the high was depressing, dark and occasionally frightening.

Organic Mr. Nice also increased my sense of vision and hearing, which in turn added to my paranoia. Now not only was I paranoid by the thoughts that were running through my mind, but my increased senses caused me to jump at every unknown sound and notice every change in lighting. In the end, I spent so much time focused on was I was hearing and seeing and convincing myself not to be frightened that I did not get to experience the upside from the high at all.

Once the paranoia and the negative effects passed, as it grew closer to the 2 hour mark, my body was relaxed enough that it overwhelmed my mind with the need for sleep. I did have a pleasant sleep, and while I could recommend this strain for someone who was experiencing insomnia or minor body aches, I will personally avoid smoking Organic Mr. Nice again as it is just not for me.  –Amanda

Am I the only one that was salivating as they read the description of Amanda’s buzz? I can only wish/hope to get that high from smoking marijuana. I do understand were that heavy a buzz can be overwhelming but for me, it’s all good. Thanks for one of the best reviews I’ve read in a while.  –Chubbs

I am going to spend as much time reviewing The Noon as they spent taking care of me as a customer, very little.

A smaller coffee shop with a guy and his laptop in the back corner calling himself the DJ. Heavy locals only vibe. Not very welcoming at all.

Smoked some of their 2008 Cannabis Cup entry ‘S5 Haze’ which was about as impressive as the shop itself.

Looks: Durga Mata nugs are just beautiful (sorry for the low quality pictures, I was too stoned to notice when I was taking them), dense and sticky.

Smell: Very herbal. To me, Durga Mata smells like marijuana is suppose to. Like this was the strain that people were smoking in the beginning.

Taste: It has a very strong herbal taste as well. This is not a strain I would make firecrackers with as I cannot imagine it’s easy to eat.

Buzz Type: Relaxing body high.

Buzz Length: Medium. 1-2 Hours.

Overall: The high relaxed my body without clouding my mind. Durga Mata is a great strain if you want to chill out your body and still be very functional mentally. Had it not had such a strong body high I would have questions whether or not I was high at all.

I don’t really have much more to say about Durga Mata. It lasts long enough, the effects are strong enough but it did not wow or impress me much.  –Amanda

Buzz Length: Short to medium. I was feeling great for about an hour and a half then it slowly deteriorated.

Overall: This is from a private dealer, but I would like to say looks are not everything. I was skeptical buying this, but he assured me it was a nice high. So as we are finishing bowls I slowly start to drift out of sober life, and into a nice heady high. It was a little bit of a creeper, with a strong head stone. Kind of like hitting a wall.

The bud is quite leafy as you can see, but then again it’s from around here so I am guessing this is just mass grown and shipped out to various dealers.  –bluntcheefah420

Size: Very large wrap. Easily big enough to tear in half for two cigarillo size wraps. Also has binder on each side, so I think that is the point.

Smell: Tobacco scent with a slight chemical hint.

Taste: Very strong tobacco taste with a bit of mango.

Overall: Upon grabbing the wrap, the first thing I notice is that Royal Blunts only come with 1 wrap. These days, most blunt wraps come in a 2 pack. For me, only providing 1 wrap puts them at a huge disadvantage right off the bat. After cracking open the package I notice there is no mango aroma at all. The wrap smells like tobacco with a chemical smell that lingers. Like many other wraps, Royal Blunts come wrapped around a hollow plastic tube. This tube comes in handy for packing the blunt if you have a loose booty so I do like that.

When rolling with this wrap I noticed it was very moist and fragile. Unlike the average blunt wrap I really felt like this thing was going to rip any second. I tore off a large section of the paper because it was just too much. The binder strip performed well by holding the blunt together with no glue taste. When lighting the blunt I noticed that it burned very even and straight. One problem with some blunt wraps I have tried is an uneven burn. This was not the case with the Royal Blunts.

They did however have a downside. Royal Blunts seem to burn very quick. Any time I’d set the blunt down for a second it would burn about a quarter inch. The taste was so-so. I did not get the chemical taste I was expecting but I didn’t really taste the mango either. Usually that’s a good thing but for some reason the tobacco taste was very overpowering and harsh which masked the flavor of the marijuana.

Royal Blunts are an okay wrap. They burn a bit fast, are a tad on the harsh side, and only include 1 wrap. For me the cons outweigh the pros. There are too many other options available that vastly outperform Royal Blunts. This is a brand I will probably steer clear from in the future.  –drewzilla484

I am not a blunt smoker at all. In fact I have never even tried one. But let me tell you should I ever get a wild hair and decide to give blunts a try, Royal Blunts are probably not the wrap I will be using. Thanks for the heads up drewzilla484.  –Chubbs

Pros: Heavy, Z Styled Perc, Sturdy/thick bisbol joint (is that the correct term for the female joint on the bong),Zong section for compact smoke, Adding and ash catcher does not add drag. Even without ice pinches, ice can still be held in the top section before the curves,Curves also help protect the perc. by slowing down the ice

Cons: Even though adding an a/c does not add drag there is a considerable amount of drag to begin with, The bottom chamber seems to be thinner than the rest of the bong which makes me worried about the weld, Did not come with a diffused downstem, Z perc is hard to get "brand new" clean, Dirt specs remain even after very long cleanings

Overall: I think Zong Co makes some good pieces which is why I purchased this. I was not impressed enough to keep it and have already sold it to a friend less than a week after buying it. The curved section makes these great bongs for people that have big lungs but a limited amount of room to store glass. I’ll more than likely add another Zong to my collection now that they are with Blue Dot Glass.  –Diamond Rasta
