Well, if you look at their website you will see that they were one of the many dispensaries forced to close by the city of Los Angeles. Hopefully, they find a new location soon. Keeping track of everyone who is still open can be a full time job!

Grade: A

Type: Sativa

Price: $35/8th $150/ounce

Looks: Brown hairs with green leaves varying in color from mid to light green.

Smell: Spicy with a mix of pine.

Taste: Sweet but also with a hint of pine, just like the smell.

Buzz Type: Perfect mix between a body high and a cerebral high. From what I’ve heard this bud is supposed to be heavily body but turned out that it was both.

Buzz Length: Long – 2.5-3 hours.

Overall: My favorite part about the Alaskan Thunder Fuck is that it has the perfect mix of Sativa and Indica traits. It’s great for those days you can’t decide which kind of bud you want, so you get the best of both worlds. I was in my own world in my thoughts but still here on Earth to watch a grow tape my friend put in.

There was a quick and easy comedown, but it did make me a little sleepy. It wasn’t to the point that it made me couch-locked though. This is probably a bud that can be smoked whenever one likes to smoke and still be okay but I suggest in the early evening. The clock’s always at 4:20 right? –d4nknugs

I’m so confused. Just from the bricky and stemmy looks, I would say this was fairly priced….maybe even a tad too expensive. But if you loved it then it was worth it. And since when does a sativa have all these body characteristics? –Mrs. Chubbs

Ahh, a planetary strain. Haven’t had one of these in a while. Were they a fad? Or still going strong?

Grade: A

Type: Indica

Price: $15/g , $50/8th (capped 8ths at $50)

Looks: Small, tight frosty nugs with reddish/orange hairs.

Smell: Very strong, piney but sweet, and a very small hint of fuel. This OG has a strong and lasting aroma. It just reeks, definitely a plus!

Taste: Smooth citrus and piney, strong aftertaste. Leaves your throat tingling accompanied with an aftertaste of lemon zest.

Buzz Type: Straight up stoned. You instantly feel it kick in right after the first exhale. It seems to go straight to your head and gradually throughout the body. Every hit increases the intensity. I would recommend eye drops because they definitely leave your eyes dry. Very potent and tasty.

Buzz Length: Medium/Long. 2 ½ – 3 hours depending on tolerance.

Overall: I usually stick to OG’s. Most of the OG’s are usually potent and always seem to get you where you need to be. Jupiter OG would have to be at the top when it comes to overall quality. This is good for your after work session or when you just want to relax. Jupiter is bud that leaves you happy and spaced. Grade A bud. –ArtisticMinds

Type: Sativa

Price: $60/8th

Looks: Nicely manicured, tight, light green buds with lots of short orange hairs. Covered in white trichomes (under the microscope, cloudy with a few amber clusters).

Smell: Very light, piney smell.

Taste: Also very light. Hardly has a taste at all.

Buzz Type: Nice sativa buzz. Great mood lifter. I was happy doing whatever, whether that meant being active or sitting around relaxing.

Buzz Length: Medium. Strong effects for the first forty-five minutes with it finally wearing off after about two hours.

Overall: Great stuff to have during the day. I smoke partly for depression, and this stuff had me feeling much better ten minutes after ingesting. I took a shower and couldn’t remember if I’d shampooed my hair or not. Nice body buzz with some nice cerebral effects. –mundane

Looks: Nice green color with some purpling and scattered dark orange hairs. Not particularly well manicured.

Smell: Skunky with hints of lemon and fuel.

Taste: Through the vape, it was like sucking on a sour lemon candy, particularly on the exhale.

Buzz Type: Energetic and cerebral.

Buzz Length: Short for me (back to baseline after an hour or so), but I also have a huge tolerance.

Overall: Fine for the price, but not something I feel the need to return to. Tasted good, but wasn’t powerful enough to do much for me. –mundane

Looks: Tight buds with dark green and purple leaves nearly obscured by the frosty trichomes. Ground up, it looks like potpourri.

Smell: Classic purp.

Taste: Light purple taste with some pine.

Buzz Type: A good mix of body and mind.

Buzz Length: Short. Less than an hour.

Overall: It looked beautiful and smelled nice, but it wasn’t enough to overcome my tolerance. I liked the effects for the first half hour, but after that, I just ended up with a headache. Not what I was looking for. –mundane

From: Little Amsterdam Dispensary (Dispensary – Los Angeles)

Grade: A+

Type: Indica

Price: $17/gram

Looks: Loose, leafy. Light green with hints of yellow near the stem. Short, brown hairs poking out here and there.

Smell: Kushy with some sweetness. A very pleasant smell which isn’t particularly pungent.

Taste: Delicious taste of hashy blueberries. Very smooth smoke that allows for huge hits.

Buzz Type: Soothing, euphoric, numbing. I like smoking this before bedtime and blissing out to music as I wait for sleep to overtake me.

Buzz Length: Long, I think. I tend to fall asleep. I felt like I was peaking for hours, though that was most likely just the power of the high distorting time.

Overall: I’d cut way back on smoking and had lowered my tolerance, but I wasn’t back to newbie level or anything. This made me feel like I did when I first started smoking. I put on "Merriweather Post Pavilion" and felt my body relax into the mattress as my spirits soared. It made cutting back well worth it. –mundane

Type: Sativa

Price: $14/gram

Looks: Tight, tense buds covered in cream-colored trichomes. A nice blend of light and dark greens. Compact and well-trimmed.

Smell: A spicy, perfumey aroma. When I picked this up, it was in a plastic bag inside of a paper bag inside of my backpack, and I could still smell it.

Taste: Subtle, surprisingly. Nothing like it smells. Slightly sweet, if anything.

Buzz Type: Definitely uplifting, with some forgetfulness. After smoking this, I worked out (but kept forgetting how many reps I’d done), took care of chores I’d been putting off for weeks, and still was looking for more to take care of.

Buzz Length: Short. An hour smoked. Slightly longer vaped.

Overall: A solid sativa. Nothing surprising to it, except for the mellow taste. –mundane

It must have been terrific medicine to get an A grade with that short of a buzz length. –Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: Small, lime green buds with short orange hairs and frosty trich coverage.

Smell: Subtle, earthy and "weedy".

Taste: Like the smell – it has a subtle taste which is refreshing out of the vape and nearly covered when smoked.

Buzz Type: It hits right away and grows and grows for the first half hour. Clear-headed and energizing, with some time-warping qualities.

Buzz Length: Medium. Hour and a half or so.

Overall: I’m on the search for the perfect sativa, but this isn’t quite it. My tolerance scoffs at small amounts (a few hits). Have enough, and the buzz is energizing and invigorating. This stuff makes me want to turn off the computer and actually go outside and accomplish something. –mundane
