OK, I know some of our more knowledgeable members will be able to explain the year with this strain name. Was this a particular cutting from 1993?

Name: ‘93 Blueberry

From: London Compassion Society (Dispensary – London, Ontario)

Grade: A-

Type: Hybrid (Sativa dominant)

Grown: Bio Organic

Price: $8.50/gram

Looks: Feels dry on the outside but sticky when broken into. Long, airy nugs are lime green with orange pistils and almost crunchy with milky trichomes.

Smell: Almost floral, a bit like lilies with an tangy, blueberry punch.

Taste: In a bong it immediately tasted fruity with a hashy aftertaste similar to how Nag Champa smells.

Buzz Type: Happy and upbeat creeper. Strong buzzing high that sent waves of tingling sensations throughout my brain and body.

Buzz Length: Long – 2 hits in a bong kept me soaring for over 2 hours.

Overall: I smoked a couple bowls and took my dog for a 2 hour walk that felt more like 20 minutes. I felt like I was on top of the world! When I got home I was still buzzing all over. –CanadaDank07

Type: Indica

Genetics: Vanilla OG x Grape Ape

Price: $55/8th

Looks: Gorgeous tiny golf balls hints of purple covered in trichomes and hairs.

Smell: Kinda of a vanilla pine mixture. Vanilla Pine Sol?

Taste: Just like vanilla ice cream.

Buzz Type: Medium – heavy big time creeper. Still creeping as I type this. Getting heavier as I speak but still not the heaviest of heavy indicas. Good to go out at night bud. Whatever gets you through the night. It’s alright.

Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 1 1/2 – 2 hours from 3 solid puffs off a bowl.

Overall: Listen, everything at CPA is A – A+. I’m not sure I’d get this one again, but it’s still an extremely high quality indica from the NUGGETRY guys. I’d rather smoke a strong sativa like Jack Herer or Silver Surfer because in an indica I’m looking for a lot of pain relief. Let’s just say it’s no Chunkle.

Buzz Report: Change this to an A+ (was originally submitted as an A). Kept on creeping and creeping and was heavier than I expected. At $55/8th I will reconsider this one if it’s on the menu and pick it up for sure. –_spoon_

Looks: Covered in multi-colored spindly hairs, with lots of crystals.

Smell: Sweet citrus with an odd hint of haze.

Taste: Really fruity, the taste stays on your tongue for a while.

Buzz Type: Classic sativa with an obvious creep to it.

Buzz Length: Long. 2 Hours+.

Overall: Total creeper – I smoked a couple fat rips right before work and by the time I sat down I was RIPPED. I only got a small sampling but the bud I got was kind of airy. Delicious none the less with a great buzz. –H1JACK3R

Looks: Like Sugar Frosted Weedies.

Smell: HUGE smell. Like a skunk died in a vat of Pine sol. SERIOUS Pine sol. A tiny pin joint in my car stunk up the whole car. I was almost afraid to smoke it since it smelled so scary. Almost too "chemical" for me…although I’m sure it’s not.

Taste: Nothing like the smell. Kind of an earthy pine. Very nice.

Buzz Type: Weird. For about 10min, I really didn’t feel anything. Then…BAM! Had a gianormous head-rush that almost caused me to black out. But just once, then it was ok, and it settled into a long, mellow buzz. Nothing scary or wild or introspective, just…an alternative world. I functioned ok in this world, and was pretty calm there, but I’m not sure I’d want to live there. Others *would* though, and they’d rate this higher. Surprising smooth comedown.

Buzz Length: Long.

Overall: I think everyone here would rate this an A+. WILD herb. Smooth takeoff, serious turbulence 10min in, then a long smooth flight. Do NOT operate heavy machinery on this. Especially near me. However, I prefer other highs, and anything that doesn’t taste as good (to me) as Blue Dream or Jack Herer loses some points, despite the fact that others here would love the crap out of this. It also loses points if concealment is an issue, cuz you can’t hide this smell. –Drums

Looks: Bright green Christmas trees covered in trichomes and hairs.

Smell: Citrus, pine and diesel fuel.

Taste: Pretty citrusy on the way in pretty spicy citrus on the way out. Solid taste. It has that old school kushy flavor going for it.

Buzz Type: Solid body buzz. Crept up on me. A few puffs of this is great for a night out at the bar or a concert in my opinion. Another quality NUGGETRY creation.

Buzz Length: Long – 2+ hours.

Overall: I actually prefer the NUGGETRY Funk to the Funk Master. Buzzes are similar but the flavor of the Funk I like better. Overall though still an A+ bud coming from the guys at NUGGETRY and CPA. A very solid body stone that you can enjoy any evening with. I wouldn’t call this a sleeper but it’s definitely a strong indica that relieves pain. A very cerebral bud. –_spoon_

Looks: Like it should be called White Blueberry or something. Amazing resin production that shows through on the outside, but once you split it open at any point, it just peels apart like velcro and glimmers.

Smell: Like a bowl of fresh blueberries It had this amazing thick resinous heavy smell very similar to how that Bubblegum Skunk smelled that I did an earlier review of.

Taste: Not as much of this flavour came through in the smoke as I would have hoped, it was quite fresh when acquired so likely in need of a good cure. In the vaporizer, this was just an absolute treat though as it duplicated the smell in the taste and just had your mouth watering. It was really a pleasure in the vape and that’s probably the only reason it gets a B+.

Buzz Type: If someone wanted to begin using medicinal cannabis, this would probably be a good place to start. It has a gradual build up that slowly cranks a smile onto your face. It is a very pleasant stone that just leaves you feeling calm and relaxed, but not very functional. Really makes me feel like sitting around.

Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 2 hrs.

Overall: It’s blueberry, smells like it, tastes like it (in the vape) and kind of makes your head feel as if it were a blueberry. However,
those pleasantries soon become more of novelties for my use as taste isn’t as important as overall medicinal effect. Very tolerable for those who seek it and I had a pleasure to try a nice specimen. I am probably being quite biased when giving it a B as I am considering how it rates to other strains of medicine out there. This is definitely an AA blueberry, but doesn’t stack up to some of the newer strains available. –m1ke

Looks: Dense, blinged out forest green broccoli looking nugs with red/orange “hair.”

Smell: That distinct “Pine-Sol” odor toned down a bit but with added chili pepper.

Taste: For its power, this is a smooth smoking OG. A very earthy/portobello mushroom kind of taste fills the mouth when ripping a milky bong.

Buzz Type: Couch lock. The one, two, knock out punch. Ideal for intense pain relief and insomnia. This bud is NOT shy. Not a creeper. Play with this one and be prepared to “fight” if you want to stay up as your body will melt and you’ll feel as if you were on the bottom of a dog pile with all the numbing pressure this brings.

Buzz Length: Above Average to Extra Long.

Overall: Damn! A true A+ grow here – not for the faint at heart. It’s very common for me to do some business recaps for my job just past midnight daily. I took a rip of this (mind you AFTER being on a solid Sativa run up to just a hour or so before this) around 11:45pm and I was literally fighting my eyes closing within 10 minutes. I start some work past midnight and typically this work is completed within 15 minutes. Shiiiiieeet!

It was hell and I put up a good fight but, it took me damn near an hour to complete a typical 15 minute task. The whole time I was just melting away, fighting off sleep with eyes filled with pools of tears. Slept like a newborn baby but my eyes were crusted and itchy the next morning when waking up for about half hour! If you are out there dropping Vicodin pills constantly, this is what you need! Fact is, if you name something “Poison,” it better be fire and this one case where the naming of this bud is oh, so justified.

Just a word of caution, Poison OG hits hard – very hard. This is one Indica I would not medicate heavily with during the day; especially if I have “responsibilities” to do. –IE420Patient

Looks: This herb has the typical God’s Gift appearance and structure. Tight nugs with hints of purple along with orange hair, and of course sugar coated in trichomes!!

Smell: Sweet with a grape candy hint.

Taste: The inhale is fairly smooth with not much of a taste, the exhale is a little harsh with an almost stale taste in my opinion.

Buzz Type: Well, right away you can feel the heaviness of this stone. Basically, it hit me as a calm relaxing stone. 15 minutes in my legs and arms are tingling. 30 minutes I feel as if my head is really heavy and I’m ready to lay down! This is the type of herb where you want to post up on the couch and watch an awesome movie, the perfect stoner heavy hitting Indica high!

Buzz Length: Long. 2+ hours.

Overall: This is an awesome bud for the major smoker!! Body high! My only complaint was that this didn’t have anything special in the taste department. It wasn’t bad it was just lacking thus the reason for an A instead of an A+. –High Till I Die
