I’m so excited that today we are going to present three wonderful strains from around the world. OK, everyone knows Sour Diesel, but I like to see buds from other countries. My love of travel, I guess. –Mrs. Chubbs

Name: Sour Diesel

From: Private Dealer – New Zealand

Grade: A-

Type: Sativa

Price: $55/8th

Looks: Very dense lime nugs with lots of red and orange hairs. Decent amount of trichs.

Smell: Slightly spicy, but mainly just smelled like some chronic weed.

Taste: Tasted nice with ice in my bong but once it melted there was a strong diesel like taste, wasn’t very nice at all.

Buzz Type: Really relaxed high, wasn’t too heavy at all. This would be good for a wake-n-bake even if you have to go to work.

Buzz Length: Medium-long, about 1 and a half hours from 4-5 decent size bowls.

Overall: I liked that this bud didn’t put me to sleep or give me the old couch lock. I had been out drinking earlier and I didn’t feel sick or tired at all. Good bud but not quite A+ worthy. I will probably buy this strain again.

Buzz Report: Some friends and I just had a session around 2am after being out drinking. We mainly just sat and talked about stuff and we couldn’t stop laughing, everything was much funnier than usual, finished an 8th between us in an hour. This weed sorted us out real good. –ezrawww

I just have to ask – m1ke, what are the buds sitting on in the first picture?

Today, I watched a competition on the Food Network between food stylists – people who set up food for photographers (mostly for magazine ads and such). Made me think about how we have some really beautiful photos and nicely placed nugs. Hmmm, maybe that’s a good contest in the future!

Looks: A nice earthy looking green. Very soft and almost fuzzy looking all around. Well cured and perfectly dried bud.

Nice and spongy buds that immediately pop back to their original shape when slightly squeezed. If you squeeze too hard and destroy the trichs, then it will stay squished.

Smell: Like someone opened a fresh can of coffee with a little bit of spice as well. It has a very musky smell to it that only a mason jar could contain. When you open it, it’s incredible how powerful it is filling the room and seeping upstairs.

Taste: Amazing and heavy. The taste is triple what it smells like. It is such a soft and gentle smoke that just seems to suck the life out of you as you exhale.

Buzz Type: Very strong and taking full effect over 5-10 min.

Buzz Length: Very long. 3+ hours. It seems to linger along for a very long time and I still feel like I’m wearing glasses 3 hours later with a slight weight on the bridge of my nose and under my eyes.

Overall: These buds were surprisingly clear for an indica similar to that crazy purple I had reviewed earlier, but not presenting the same way glimmering all over. However, crack these buds open and it’s incredible, golden right down to the center, almost blinding. –m1ke

Looks: Beautiful dense nugs with tons of crystals. Lots of orange hairs and purple coloration. It looks like nug candy.

Smell: Very smooth fruity purple smell with a hint of Kush. Totally mouth watering!

Taste: Almost identical to the smell, but with more of a kush aftertaste. The smoke is super smooth, even when rolled, and very easy to inhale.

Buzz Type: Extremely calm and pleasant functional body high. This bud takes it to a new level when it comes to anxiety relief. I have never smoked anything as smooth and as easy going as this bud, it’s like taking a muscle relaxer!

Buzz Length: Medium. 2 hours max.

Overall: Some of the best looking bud I’ve seen with the perfect medicinal indica high. I’ll be picking this up again soon! –CaliArtist

I am amazed at how different this looks from the Bubbleberry recently submitted by mbfunk420. I would imagine it’s due to different growing conditions being in opposite ends of the country.

Genetics: Bubblegum x Blueberry

Looks: Bluish/purplish hues, covered in trichomes, pinkish/red hairs.

Smell: Fruity, like Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Taste: Fruity, creamy, flavorful smoke that just lingers in your mouth long after puffing, very smooth with no harshness on the throat.

Buzz Type: A nice clear cerebral "headiness" mixed with a nice indica relaxing body high, a perfect hybrid high. Great for muscle pain, and strongly induces hunger.

Buzz Length: Medium – 1.5-2 hours.

Overall: A nice tasting hybrid, very fruity, very relaxing, but I typically prefer something a little heavier; which is why it didn’t get an A+, but it’s worth buying due to taste and smell alone –Nuglife

Looks: Large, bulbous nugs. 5-10% amber. Light green and covered in diamonds!

Smell: Sweet, somewhat citrusy with a hint of musk.

Taste: Woody/citrus blend, smooth as water and expansive!

Buzz Type: Clear and functional, euphoric and uplifting. Slightly giggly.

Buzz Length: ?

Overall: This bud had extremely high levels of THC. It’s great for anti-anxiety, increasing appetite and stress relief. Also, very creative with this strain. –C0okiecrisps

This looks like some wild bud. Too bad C0okiecrisps didn’t give an overall grade or mention the buzz length – I’m pretty interested in how long that lasted. –Mrs. Chubbs

Looks: Fabulous very light green covered in crystals with bright orange hairs, very fluffy. It felt like a flower when picking pieces off.

Smell: Very skunky from far away, and fresh sweet fruity piney smell up close. Had it in a drawer in the back of my dresser, and it stunk up the whole upstairs.

Taste: Very fresh and piney, each hit would make my mouth water, not too harsh but definitely had some kick.

Buzz Type: Definitely a body high with your whole body feeling very light, you could also really feel the high behind your eyes. It was a very clean and uplifting high.

Buzz Length: Long. A little over 2 hours with an easy wear off.

Overall: One of the top buds on my list. Cleanest high I have ever had.

Buzz Report: For my review I sat down with a buddy of mine and we smoked a gram out of a bubbler, and felt magical… we were totally baked! –CorpusChristi420

Price: $50/appx. 2.5 grams

Looks: Dense, sticky dark green nugs. Dark orange pistils and a fine dusting of amber trichomes put the finishing touch on these moist buds. Tough to break apart because they’re so sticky.

Smell: Bright and sweet with a skunky undertone. White pepper and citrus notes. Very fragrant. Tickles your nose in a nice way.

Taste: Much heavier taste than what I expected from the smell. It’s herbal, cinnamon-y, like the powder or bark smells. Has a slight lemon aftertaste.

Feels a little acrid in my mouth and makes my nose twitch. A very smooth smoke going in and coming out.

Buzz Type: Nice and heady. About ten minutes after taking two tokes from my one-hitter, I became very active, mentally and physically. My mood is up and I feel happy and bright.

PhD makes me want to move and dance. Music sounds really good.

Buzz Length: Light and short. I could toke this herb all day. It comes on easy, rides easy, and tapers off easy. Two hits and after 90 minutes or so I could smoke some more.

Overall: Just what I was looking for – a breezy, uplifting high. Mentally I feel good, bright, and focused, yet able to handle multiple sensory stimuli without freaking out.

Buzz Report: A very pleasant, stimulating smoke. Doesn’t look too impressive but gives a bright, cerebral lift and physical energy. I’m down with PhD. –jcblaze

Genetics: Blueberry x Sour Diesel

Looks: Pretty standard for high-end marijuana. One thing I do note is that it has the crazy amounts of trichomes you would expect from a Sour Diesel. Tons of kief falls off this nugget just by handling it, it’s quite shiny.

Smell: This is where the other half of the parents shows itself quite prevalently. I open the container holding this strain and it could very well be a blueberry muffin sitting in there. Fantastic smell, hints of some other skunky/sour smell but the blueberry is overpowering.

Taste: You can taste the Blueberry in this strain as well, it overpowers most everything else. A smooth but strong smoke, definitely a nice rip.

Buzz Type: Fantastic. This hybrid is perfectly mixed, I was in an almost ‘dreamlike’ high from the cerebral effects and the indica was present but didn’t incapacitate me like some overly strong indicas can.

Buzz Length: Medium, about 2 hours from a few hits off the vaporizer. –majicbunnie

Unfortunately, majicbunnie didn’t provide us with the type (which I assume is a hybrid) or overall thoughts. I would imagine good, since it was given an A grade! –Mrs. Chubbs
