Name: Princess Diesel

From: A Cut Above (Dispensary – Denver)

Grade: A+

Type: Hybrid (Sativa dominant)

Genetics: Most likely Ice Princess x Sour Diesel (The Princess brings her heavy trichomes and the Sour her favorable taste).

Price: $15.72/Gram

Looks: Dark green mostly, though it can appear almost grey due to a nice cover of "fuzz", while the dark red hairs offset the grey-green beautifully.

Smell: Spicy-Petrol, maybe citrus-oil-ish

Taste: Smooth, with some spicy after-notes. A slight tingle is left on the tongue, though I don’t know that that a "taste" per se.

Buzz Type: Euphoric, and alert. Though can get pretty "floaty" on higher doses. A hit or two in the morning will start you right, while a bowl after work will help bring the day to a close but leave you with the "pep" to still hobby, or work around the house.

Buzz Length: Short – Medium. 45 mins, but a light warmness lingers for over an hour.

Overall: A very nice sativa, capable of multitasking. I’ll be sure to keep at least a hit on hand, as it’s versatile enough to be really "handy". –PoliceState781

Looks: A good coating of trichs. A bit darker than the Cheese I got last time.

Smell: I always understand the name when I smell this stuff. Only way to describe it is to say that it smells like an expensive cheese.

Taste: Interesting. Sweet, but with an almost earthy undertone. I didn’t like the taste very much.

Buzz Type: Very weak buzz. Indica, but a friend of mine described it as Pretendica because the buzz was SO weak.

Buzz Length: Short. 3 big bongs got me stoned for an hour. Not really acceptable.

Price: $40/3.5g, $270/28g

Looks: Dense dark green nugs with a good amount of trichomes and a small amount of hairs.

Smell: Classic Kush smell with a strong earthy undertone.

Taste: Mild Kush taste with a very earthy taste to it.

Buzz Type: Strong. Initial hit is satisfying and hard. You can feel the potency of the smoke as it dissipates in your lungs.

Buzz Length: Short. Buzz doesn’t last very long, lasting up to an hour (depending on dose).

Overall: Good strain, nothing special for a Kush. I’m assuming this strain wasn’t properly cured as I’m convinced of it’s potential. –tryptamine

Looks: The buds are a dark green color with LOTS of orange hairs everywhere! Trichomes aren’t that visible to the naked eye but they’re about 60/40 amber/cloudy under a x100 microscope. For looks I would give it an 8/10 because the abundance of orange hairs make up for the lack of visible trichs.

Smell: Well what can I really tell you about the smell, I was a little skeptical about the legitimacy of the strain while growing and curing it because of the lack of kush smell but once properly cured it smells DELICIOUS.

Imagine a room full of pine trees with just a small hole just big enough to stick your head into so you can take a huge whiff….that’s kinda what it’s like. The smell is a very distinct kush stank with a hint of lemon scent (PINEY!) that could not be mistaken easily for anything else.

I give the smell a 9/10. The only reason I’m not giving it a 10 is because the smell is still containable (doesn’t seep strongly through plastic mediums).

Taste: Vaped it and it tastes similar to how it smells but not really exceptional, I’ll give it a 7/10.

Buzz Type: It’s not an instant smack you on the face high but after a couple minutes you just want to sit there and do what entertains you and EAT!

Buzz Length: Short-Medium. After 2 bowls through a bong I would say it lasted a strong hour before I needed to medicate again.

Overall: I’m a medicinal patient that needs to consume a heavy indica for help with sleeping. This is the strain. I would also recommend this for people that need help eating because this one gives you the munchies like a mother haha. Thanks for reading. –ecslickz

Looks: Lime green with crystals everywhere, very well trimmed.

Smell: Very strong.

Taste: Super fruity.

Buzz Type: I was a bit disappointed with its lack of knockout power. I had to smoke a whole bowl before I started to really feel the effects – increased energy and heart rate, ideas were racing. No appetite effect.

Buzz Length: Short. About an hour.

Overall: I wouldn’t buy again if it came around since I like increased appetite and longer buzz lengths. –Dankydank

Looks: Perfect cure with a good trim. Covered in crystal. Lime green that sparkles under LED.

Smell: It really smells like cherries. This is the only place I notice any kind of cherry infusion.

Taste: Super sweet, no real fruit undertone, almost like rock-candy.

Buzz Type: Heavy indica buzz, really pleasant, almost numbing.

Buzz Length: Short – about 1 hour.

Overall: The only thing dragging this strain down is the short high that it gives. Based on look and smell I thought this would be a knock-out. Oh well. –H1JACK3R

Looks: Nice chunky buds that are quite dense.

Smell: Skywalker’s scent is more of a whisper than a roar and seemed rather lackluster.

Taste: The taste was nice, you know how a fresh spring day smells? Similar to that. Very "organic" in taste.

Buzz Type: Very light and cerebral for an Indica.

Buzz Length: Overall the length of buzz was short, little under an hour.

Overall: Being a fan of the Star Wars series I had high hopes for the hero of the universe. Unfortunately those were dashed when I fired a complete bowl and still found myself drawn to the darkside. It was almost like a movie that’s all hype and leaves you wondering where the action is. Having sampled the Darth Vader recently too, I’d have to say…the DeathStar has nothing to fear from Luke in this version! –menu4twenty

Looks: The whole bud itself has a general veil of sheer white; pale green hairs covered in a general fuzz on the outside of the nug. When broken apart, underneath the leaves are clusters of long orange hairs and tightly wadded clusters of white trichs. Medium density to the nug as a whole, kind of soft and pliable.

Smell: Super skunky and a little sweet. But the majority of the smell is straight up skunk.

Taste: On the inhale sort of sweet lemony-skunky – the way weed should taste. The exhale was smokey and spicy.

Buzz Type: This starts at the back on my eyes and creeps down my spine. At first you don’t even notice you’re high until you start laughing or listening to some amazing music. And then this awesome feeling radiates down your spine and produces a wonderful, analgesic body high.

Very creative, fun, and uplifting. A nice pain-reliever. But a short trip, sadly. Though a nice compensation is that the come down is very pleasant – no headache or you really don’t feel that tired at the end…

Buzz Length: Short. Approximately 1 hour to 1:30 (one bowl – approximately .5 g).

Overall: Decent price for decent nugs. I would definitely try this again. I recently saw John Brown’s Body with Toubab Krewe; smoked a 1.5 g blunt of this right before the show and had an excellent time. –jackethead

Looks: Compact dense buds, very large bud to leaf ratio.

Smell: Sweet and piney.

Taste: Like fruit at first, followed with a sour pine taste.

Buzz Type: Definitely an indica buzz for sure with a slight head high, left me stuck to the couch for the most part.

Buzz Length: Short – Medium. About an hour for a .3 bowl pack.

Overall: New strain from these guys that I just tried for the first time. I was fairly impressed – though not the best nug in the store but I was looking for something new. Overall definitely impressed. The first bowl I smoked of this stuff I put some Lemon Haze Hash Oil on top which was a very fine addition indeed –Danktim420
