Looks: Ground up, this beautiful bud is covered in glistening snow.  The leaves grow very upright, which is typical to sativas, but also very, very broadly.  This is a sativa that looks like it has a good time working out and looking very healthy.  The colors vary between bright green and emerald, and the crystals sparkle if you catch them in the right light.

Smell: At first, I was expecting something very strong and maybe a little sharp, but in actuality, this bud isn’t so outspoken.  It is actually very gentle and its aroma is very smooth and sweet.  At first, I can’t really place the sweetness, but…

Taste: The taste on this is pretty remarkable.  It’s perfect for people who don’t care much for anything strong or overbearing.  The flavor, at first, is very subtle and smooth, but the sweetness in its aroma is brought out and distinguished in the flavor.  To me, it tastes like a very sweet pineapple, which makes it quite novel.  It’s really something worth experiencing.

Buzz Type: There is an instant headrush, and a slight, creeping body high.  The more you smoke, the more prevalent the creep becomes, and it ends up snatching you away before you can begin to figure out what just happened.  This strain is a top shelf strain that will last you for a while, because you don’t need a lot to experience its effects; for that, it’s also economical.  A small breakfast bowl would be enough to energize and invigorate anyone ready to tackle the day ahead [students, athletes, etc.].  Smoke enough, and it also becomes a very effective painkiller.

Buzz Length: ?

Overall: I think this was a good choice and a wonderful investment.  You can smoke this and work or sleep, it doesn’t matter.  It will get the job done and not utterly rob you of your senses or get you fiercely hungry.  However, I don’t think the flavor really matches the energy behind the strain itself.  It is definitely an amazing strain, though, and one I would enjoy smoking again.  –bass in space

Looks: Beautiful fluffy buds with nice orange hairs which are covered in beautiful golden trichomes.  The buds are quite fluffy and seem to be a bit on the light side.

Smell: Like spicy pine trees with earthy undertones.

Taste: Very similar to the smell, with a slightly fruity/woodsy taste on exhale.

Buzz Type: Definitely a narcotic type of cerebral high.  I smoke OG all day long usually and I’m fine, but killer sativa always seems to get me staring at walls for hours just thinking about random stuff.

Buzz Length: Long, 2-3 hours on a nice bong rip.

Overall: Quite an enjoyable strain to smoke for a change.  Nice when you need to tire your brain out to fall asleep.  That being said, it’s a great daily smoke to finish off with some OG if you have issues sleeping.  –ipistolwhipblindkids

Looks: DANK!!  Completely covered in amber trichs and cured to perfection.  This was some serious looking marijuana!

Smell: Not overly strong.  Candied fruity pepper smell.

Taste: Sweet and peppery, much like the smell.

Buzz Type: Intense!  Deep introspective high that leaves you in a state not meant for public interaction.  Turns you into a philosopher.

Buzz Length: Very long.  3-4 hours.

Overall: I was skeptical of it being Jack Herer at first because it didn’t have the trademark foxtail buds but I think they were crushed when they were vacuum sealed.  Think about how good it could have been without vacuum sealing!!!  One of my favorites for sure.  –CanadaDank07

Looks: Dense and perfectly cured buds with a generous amount of trichomes and hairs.

Smell: Very fruity and herbal smell that becomes very strong once the bud is broken up.

Taste: Tastes like it smells, subtle herbal taste.

Buzz Type: Uplifting and energetic cerebral head high.

Buzz Length:  Medium. Kept me high for an hour off of two medium-sized bowls.

Overall: Decent bud.  A nice sativa that is great for the daytime because of it’s stimulant properties.  –tryptamine

Looks: Amazing, covered in a thick coating of trichomes that had me drooling after seeing it.  Lots of dense golf ball sized buds.

Smell: Quite citrusy I found.  Very soothing smell to it.

Taste: Exactly like it smelled which made it a tad harsh, nothing overbearing but definitely noticeable.  It was the only reason I would give it an A-.

Buzz Type: High was very cerebral, a great strain if you have errands to run and don’t want to be sleepwalking.

Buzz Length: Long.  I had two average sized bong rips and I was good for 2.5-3 hours while I shopped and ran errands.

Overall: Very impressed.  The first time I had some Jack it wasn’t grown as well as it could have been so I didn’t realize the potential of this strain.  I picked up an ounce to make sure I could enjoy it throughout the summer.  After this batch I will always keep my eye out for it in the future.  –Jbone204

Looks: You can tell just by looking at it that this is something special. Nicely colored hairs, nooks and crannies are full of trichomes. Very pretty.

Smell: This smells like my default scent of marijuana. What I always thought it should smell like. Green, earthy with a nice hint of pine.

Taste: Absolutely delicious. Earthy and piney, with a distinct sweetness to it out of my Vapor Genie. Out of a pipe, it loses a lot of the sweetness, but it still has a strong, pleasant flavor.

Smokeability: Vapor Genie – Flawless. Tasty, smooth, etc. Pipe – Still very tasty, but there’s a tiny bit of harshness to it. Not enough to make me cough, even with a large toke, but I could feel it in there.

Buzz Type: Very high. Extreme positive moodshift, great mental clarity, not a hint of paranoia. Happy, almost giddy – though I did pass the line way into giddy after watching a video of a cute kitten. Very energetic, almost speedy. There is absolutely no heaviness in this.

Buzz Length: Moderate-long. An average sized bowl lasted a couple hours, maybe a bit more.

Overall: EXTREMELY nice bud. It has everything. This is my first A+ smoke. It really does everything right. This is, in my opinion, an EXCELLENT strain for those (like me) suffering from depression, loss of motivation, fatigue, etc. I also suffer from anxiety, and I don’t get the paranoid sketchy feeling that some of the really high energy sativas give me.

Buzz Report: I bought a Vapor Genie recently, and I wanted a really top notch strain to try in it. I’ve been hearing rave reviews about Jack Herer, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I also smoked it out of my regular pipe, so I’m covering both aspects in this review.

Had a moderate onset. Took a couple of minutes after my first toke to start feeling it. But when I felt it, I definitely felt it. I was first hit by a positive wave. My mindset instantly flipped to “YAY!”. After that, I was hit by a smooth rush of energy. I love that speedy feeling, and this was as smooth and as clear as I’ve felt it. It wasn’t an obnoxious energy that’s uncomfortable until you jog around to wear it off a bit, but it’s definitely there.
This is an absolutely amazing strain. If you get a chance, check it out. Unless it’s poorly grown, you’re sure to be in for a treat   -Ghost Guy

Looks: What a strange looking strain Jack Herer is.  Nice sized buds with lots of glands full of sweet THC.  The hairs are blood red.

Smell: Musky and extremely lemony.

Taste: Slight tingle in the back of the throat, but otherwise very smooth.  The smoke has a lemon flavor.  It is very enjoyable without being overpowering.

Buzz Type: Deep cerebral high.  I feel like Professor Xavier from X-Men sitting in that room with the helmet on listening to my swirling thoughts and ideas.  After smoking half a small joint, my senses and energy levels increased dramatically.  Great for visionary artists.

Buzz Length: Very long.  A reasonable amount of my good friend Jack has kept me nicely baked for about two hours now.

Overall: Jack Herer is in my top 3 sativas of all time.  Ranks up there with original Maui Wowi.  The taste is not amazing, but the high makes up for anything else this bud is lacking. 

There is nothing that Jack Herer doesn’t help.  It’s great for sex, asthma, headaches, glaucoma, socializing, thinking and boredom.  Amazing strain!  –Demo11

Overall: A top notch strain that single handedly renewed my faith in medical sativas.

Looks: Sugary, sharply shaped spears. These buds have noticeably amber trichomes and rust colored pistils.

Smell: Spicy and acrid nose like peppers and acrid citrus fruit.

Taste: Sandalwood and pepper is the predominant taste with distinct undertones of ripe fruit.

Buzz Type: Narcotic. When used by itself it blasts me to the moon for a few hours after which you lose your momentum and come crashing down making it great for mixing with indicas and alleviating insomnia. The initial buzz is akin to Isis in it’s devastating punch, but the Isis is substantially more spacey.

Buzz Length: Long. 3-4 hours.

Overall: Astoundingly potent sativa. I am never disappointed when I grab Jack Herer. I always mix it if using it during the day, as by itself it almost always incapacitates me.  –Mel Topps

Smell: Very strong fruity smell.

Taste: Again, fruity taste with hint of menthol. Strong, thick smoke.

Buzz Type: Clear cerebral head type buzz that hit me right away.

Buzz Length: Long. 1 fat joint had me baked all day while I walked around in the snow.

Overall: After everything I had heard and read about the infamous Jack Herer strain I was a little worried it would not live up to all the hype. Boy was I wrong. A very strong, very energetic buzz.

Buzz Report: After smoking a 1 gram joint of Jack Herer while chilling out in De Tweede Kamer, I ended up going for a great walk out in the snow. Walking around Amsterdam, WAY BAKED in the snow was surreal. Definitely one of the best times I’ve ever had.  –Chubbs
