Looks: This is some frosty dank. Has few hairs but a very generous amount of trichomes. Small hints of purple that put a smile on my face. You can tell by looking at it that you’re dealing with some serious marijuana.

Smell: Very strong "through-the-bag" Kush smell that is absolutely potent.

Taste: Potent earthy and musky Kush taste.

Buzz Type: Very Strong. This bud hits you almost too hard. A nice bowl out of a glass bong will have you sweating profusely from the crazy amount of kief on these buds! Classic Kush buzz that you can feel in your forehead and eyes.

Overall: Top of the line herb. Definitely my favourite strain available to me right now. Gotta love the OG! –tryptamine

Looks: Perfectly cured and manicured, all the buds were about the size and thickness of my pinky or smaller. Very dense and totally covered and perfectly matured trichs! Had a nice blend of various shades of green and littered with red pistils. (Sorry for the poor pics, me and my buddy used a camera phone.)

Smell: This bud wreaked of Kush, a very strong earthy, spicy aroma that was paired with this mouth watering citrus.

Taste: Almost identical to how it smelled. Overwhelmingly kushy, not so much citrus but that’s ok because I love that kush taste.

Buzz Type: Super strong, this smoke had massive chest expansion when inhaled and all of it rushes straight to your head. I was floored after my first rip out of my buddy’s Illidelph. This bud literally made me break out in sweats instantly…the birds sang and the sun shined..I was in love This is the definition of Indica buzz, very stoney, cerebral high that lasts and lasts, which brings me to…

Buzz Length: Long – I went almost 2 hours off 2 rips which is a long time for me.

Overall: This is the best version of OG Kush that I have had the privilege to come across. Super delicious and potent out the caboose, had me coming back for more every other day..literally.

I recommend this to anyone who loves their indicas, or more importantly, loves amazing bud. This bud is perfect for someone looking for increased appetite, have trouble sleeping or just in need for a wonderful high. –nycdgrower

Just when I thought the NUGGETRY OG couldn’t get any stronger my guys/girls came up with NUGGETRY N1 which is NUGGETRY OG pheno #1 (our flowering pheno) crossed with NUGGETRY OG pheno #4 (one of our breeding phenos). Take a look.

Genetics: NUGGETRY OG x NUGGETRY OG

Looks: Miniature pinecones or big green golf balls, your pick. Each nug is wrapped in thin orange hairs and is covered in trichomes that look like they are jumping right off the bud they are so fat.

Smell: Smells “right”. Piney/diesel fuel smell hits you right when you open the jar and will linger in the room long after it’s closed.

Taste: Like most properly grown OG’s NUGGETRY N1 has a flavor that can best be described as loved by some, hated by others. Reason for this is that it just has such a strong, almost overwhelming flavor (very thick and hashy) that it can be a little too much for some. But I love it!

Buzz Type: Very strong pain killing, insomnia fighting, mind numbing indica high that is as heavy as it gets.

Buzz Length: Extra long buzz. Great thing about NUGGETRY N1 is that because the buzz lasts so long it tends to make your sack last longer. Usually.

Overall: This may be my bud of the year for 2010. I know it’s a little early to make the call, I’m just saying.

Buzz Report: I’ve been smoking a lot of NUGGETRY N1 lately mainly because this stuff calls me in my sleep.

The buds tend to be nice and big and I have yet to find one that was not just soaked in crystals.

Heavy, heavy, heavy. Beware everyone as this one packs a hard punch. Especially the come down. –Chubbs

Years back when I first smoked NUGGETRY OG I knew it was a killer strain that would do well but never could I of imagined it would get as popular as it is.

Looks: WOW! One look and you know you are in the presence of greatness. NUGGETRY OG is nice and emerald green with wild orange hairs throughout. The trichomes are swollen to the max and as beautiful as can be.

Smell: Very hard to hide the smell of NUGGETRY OG no matter what kind of container you have it in. A mix of pine, jet fuel and sweetness.

Taste: A rather harsh smoke that should not be taken lightly. Very rich inhale with a very hashy exhale/aftertaste. STRONG!

Buzz Type: As I have said before, smoking NUGGETRY OG is like getting kicked in the face with a cushioned boot. Very hard hitting indica high that can put you down for the count if not careful.

Buzz Length: Very long. It does not take much to keep you extremely high for an extended period.

Overall: One of the most popular strains of marijuana in California and rightly so. I can’t say enough about the quality that goes into each and every NUGGETRY OG crop from clone to cure.

Buzz Report: Bong, pipe, vape, blunt, it makes no difference. NUGGETRY OG is going to hit you hard and that’s that.

It’s no wonder San Diego medical marijuana patients are making the trek to OC to come up on some NUGGETRY OG. Heck I’d make the drive myself if I had to. –Chubbs

Take a look at my Holywater OG. Almost Pure indica but not quite 100%

Type: Mostly indica

Looks: Big giant chunky nugs of dark green OG goodness. With the way the pods grow on top of each other in most of the sour strains it is very easy to distinguish them from other strains.

Smell: Prototypical OG smell which is a mix of menthol, a bit of cedar and a whole lot of diesel fuel.

Taste: Based on the smell it tastes about how you would expect it to. Deep, rich smoke that stinks up the entire house after only 1 hit.

Buzz Type: Immediate relaxing sensation that hits you upon inhale. As you exhale your first hit you definitely know you are smoking a strong indica.

Buzz Length: Long. 2 giant bong hits kept me high for about 2 hours.

Overall: Holywater OG has become one of my favorite strains ever since the first time I tired it back a couple summers ago. I really prefer a heavy hitting indica and Holywater OG definitely delivers in that aspect.

Not since the famous NUGGETRY OG have I had an OG taste this smooth yet strong at the same time. One you don’t want to miss.

Buzz Report: In am 30 minutes into a pretty heavy Holywater OG buzz seeing as I snapped 3 bowls back-toback-to-back.

For being such a heavy indica I am surprisingly energized. –Chubbs

Looks: Unbelievable…dense, tight, bright green nugs completely caked in trichomes and perfectly colored orange hairs.

Smell: From my experience, people who have been privately growing OG for a long time, (when pure OG seeds were easily obtainable) will generally produce OG buds which smell overpoweringly piney/fuely.

Taste: ?

Buzz Type: Very similar to the Purple OG in terms of potency and effects…but you don’t feel as debilitated/heavy like you do when coming down off of Purple OG.

The second you begin toking, the following happens: your eyes slowly shut and both your face and your eyes get very red and feel quite warm. Your chest feels like it’s going to implode shortly after you exhale and your whole body starts to get fuzzy and warm. To top it off you should have a few tear drops beginning to fall from the corners of your eyes.

Buzz Length: Medium-long. Couple of hours at a time when packing decent bowls.

Overall: 10! I’ll be smoking OG daily until I kick the bucket. The main reason being that it gives me patience, which allows me to function normally in society. When I don’t smoke OG daily every few hours, it seems like 80% of the population completely lacks common sense and does everything in the most difficult way possible. –ipistolwhipblindkids

Looks: Awesome – full of crystals from top to bottom, light green in color.

Smell: Amazing, definitely has that typical kush smell but I always find myself stickin’ my nose in the jar to take a big whiff.

Taste: Very sweet kushy taste.

Buzz Type: This one is a HEAVY HITTER! There’s another OG review where he said that it will "knock your f–kin socks off!" – he was right. From the first toke I took it was heaven after that.

After your first hit, when you let it out you feel like a wave of highness that’s just out of this world. Very uplifting and relaxing, this bud is great ANYTIME of the day.

Buzz Length: Long. I smoked two bowl packs and I was high for 2-3 hours.

Overall: I have to say that the OG is my fave bud out of all. Overall, this bud is AMAZING from looks to smell to smoke. If you ever have a chance to get some or smoke some I HIGHLY recommend this bud!! –Greenman420

I know, I know…you’ve probably had enough of OG Kush. But I thought this would be interesting cause it’s not some funky named OG Kush and it’s from Ontario, Canada.

Looks: Covered from top to bottom in trichomes. A deep purple near the tops of half the buds. Very appealing.

Smell: Penetrating. Signature kush scent.

Taste: Fresh, full kush flavor. Pleasant aftertaste, though it does not last long.

Buzz Type: Immediate. Felt behind the eyes before you’re finished exhaling. You’ll need a few moments to gather yourself after a big hit of this OG, and it might just put you to sleep if you smoke too much.

Buzz Length: Long. 2.5hrs easily. Beware of the burnout.

Overall: With kush becoming more and more popular by the hour, more and more growers are trying their hand at it with mixed results. This is one of the better batches that I’ve seen recently. There was nothing about it that I had a problem with, and I tend to be picky when it comes to quality herb. –stak

I just have to ask – m1ke, what are the buds sitting on in the first picture?

Today, I watched a competition on the Food Network between food stylists – people who set up food for photographers (mostly for magazine ads and such). Made me think about how we have some really beautiful photos and nicely placed nugs. Hmmm, maybe that’s a good contest in the future!

Looks: A nice earthy looking green. Very soft and almost fuzzy looking all around. Well cured and perfectly dried bud.

Nice and spongy buds that immediately pop back to their original shape when slightly squeezed. If you squeeze too hard and destroy the trichs, then it will stay squished.

Smell: Like someone opened a fresh can of coffee with a little bit of spice as well. It has a very musky smell to it that only a mason jar could contain. When you open it, it’s incredible how powerful it is filling the room and seeping upstairs.

Taste: Amazing and heavy. The taste is triple what it smells like. It is such a soft and gentle smoke that just seems to suck the life out of you as you exhale.

Buzz Type: Very strong and taking full effect over 5-10 min.

Buzz Length: Very long. 3+ hours. It seems to linger along for a very long time and I still feel like I’m wearing glasses 3 hours later with a slight weight on the bridge of my nose and under my eyes.

Overall: These buds were surprisingly clear for an indica similar to that crazy purple I had reviewed earlier, but not presenting the same way glimmering all over. However, crack these buds open and it’s incredible, golden right down to the center, almost blinding. –m1ke
