Comments: Alright, this monster is a Juicy Jay’s Super Blunt (Bluntzilla “flavor”). This is the unflavored variety apparently. These wraps come in many different flavors but I find this one to be the best because the taste is not overpowering.

The wrap is absolutely tremendous. It’s quite easy to fit over an ounce of herb in one of these (we put in a half ounce and cut much of the wrap away). They tend to boat a lot, but hey that could be blamed on a bad rolling job too.

It also has a pretty fast burn for the first half, it took only maybe 15 minutes to get halfway down, but the roach went for another good half an hour.

Super Blunts really waste a lot of herb but they are fun to burn every now and then.  –Drewzilla484

Gold’N Honey Corona’s are a corona sized cigar wrapped in a honey flavored natural Connecticut wrapper. These are one of my all time favorite cigars, they always seems to be some of the freshest and have a great taste. The burn is nice and slow with a very strong honey taste.

I usually don’t like a strong flavor but honey seems to compliment the herb well. I highly recommend this variety of Dutch Master cigar. By the way, this was the first time I opened a pack of Dutches and found one upside down. Not only that, but it was double-wrapped as well.  –Drewzilla484

The first step is picking out the right Dutch. For anyone who rolls strawberry or grape, you may notice the taste when de-leafing and rolling, that is the flavoring they put on the blunt. I hate that crap so I stick with either Palmas, Honey Palmas, Corona Sports or Honey Sports. Sure I’ll roll up some grape or strawberries now and then to change it up. But my go to cigar is a natural leaf honey flavored.

Never gut your blunt before breaking up your weed. Whether you grind it up or break it up by hand it still gives your blunt time to dry out. Blunts dry out VERY fast. There is no reason to waste any of your precious freshness time because you did not plan ahead.

Alright, now that your herb is broken up grab your Dutch of choice and moisten it up.

Start at the top of the blunt and find where the outer leaf is sealed down. Carefully use your fingernail to lift up a corner and slowly unroll.

Once naked, set aside the outer leaf and locate the line where the inner leaf is folded over. Use your thumb to crack the blunt (I start at the cancer paper and work my way out)

Now bend the cancer paper off. Some people just peel it off but it tends to leave a residue behind.

Remove some of the inner leaf, you really do not need the entire thing.

Add some marijuana and roll it up.

Grab your outer leaf, clean it if needed and moisten it up.

While the leaf is moist, slap it on a clean surface and lay the blunt on it. Slowly roll it upwards.

Viola!

Sit back and light it up!

Comments: Dutch Master cigars can be difficult to find on the west coast, but can be found in gas stations in most east coast cities. Dutch Master’s Corona Sport are corona size cigars wrapped with a natural outer leaf. Unlike most blunts, the typical method of rolling a Dutch Master involves removing the intact outer leaf and then later re-applying it.

When done correctly, it makes for an exceptional slow burn. Corona Sports are unflavored, but are also available in a honey variety (Dutch Master’s Honey Sports). The taste is incredible and compliments the herb well.  –Drewzilla484

Size: Two very large wraps, easily big enough to tear in half for two cigarillo size wraps.

Comments: Juicy Jay’s wraps are a bit more difficult to find than a Platium or Royal wrap but in my opinion it’s worth the extra effort to find them. As far as blunt wraps go, Juicy Jay’s are great. The burn is very good for a wrap, nice and slow and rarely uneven.

The wrap is not over flavored or super moist, they seem to always be perfect. This particular flavor is very popular in my area. It gives a very distinctive peanut butter taste (not so much the jelly) but does not overpower the herb. The binder strip is oversized. I am not sure why they do this (I tend to tear some of it off) but I know many inexperienced rollers appreciate and utilize it.

If you are looking for a reliable, always fresh wrap, or if you are new to rolling and want a nice large wrap with a huge binder strip to work with, this wrap is for you.  –drewzilla484

Comments: I got this rolling machine for free with a sample pack of blunt wraps. For me rolling a blunt is a very ritualistic part of my day. I am not a fan of the idea of a blunt roller because I enjoy rolling by hand, however I will set my bias aside for this review.

The idea behind a rolling machine is much like the dollar bill trick and it tends to work just about as well. First thing you do is put your marijuana in the roller, close/spin it to compact the herb, then insert a rolling paper and roll again leaving you with the most perfect blunt most of the time.

One common problem with rolling machines (in my opinion) is that the rolling vinyl is just too long, leaving you with a loose blunt if you don’t REALLY load it up with 2-3 grams. It is almost impossible to roll a proper cigarillo with these machines. The Kingpin Rolling Machine was no exception. This thing is just too big.

I rolled with about 2.5 grams of quality herb. Unsure how much paper the roller would need, I used an entire Royal Blunts wrap. This was a decision I later regretted because it left me with a rather harsh blunt. When the wrap is almost all the way in the machine, you lick the glue strip to seal the blunt. It was at this point that I noticed that my Kingpin Roller was longer than my blunt wrap. I knew I’d be left with a bit of a mess but it should not have been too bad.

The finished product wasn’t that bad. It was well sealed, perfectly cylindrical and rather tight.

Overall the blunt came out really good. Although the Kingpin Roller won’t be my first choice when twisting up a blunt, it did do a good job and I can appreciate that. With a smaller rolling surface, this thing could possibly be the perfect blunt roller.  –drewzilla484

Size: Very large wrap. Easily big enough to tear in half for two cigarillo size wraps. Also has binder on each side, so I think that is the point.

Smell: Tobacco scent with a slight chemical hint.

Taste: Very strong tobacco taste with a bit of mango.

Overall: Upon grabbing the wrap, the first thing I notice is that Royal Blunts only come with 1 wrap. These days, most blunt wraps come in a 2 pack. For me, only providing 1 wrap puts them at a huge disadvantage right off the bat. After cracking open the package I notice there is no mango aroma at all. The wrap smells like tobacco with a chemical smell that lingers. Like many other wraps, Royal Blunts come wrapped around a hollow plastic tube. This tube comes in handy for packing the blunt if you have a loose booty so I do like that.

When rolling with this wrap I noticed it was very moist and fragile. Unlike the average blunt wrap I really felt like this thing was going to rip any second. I tore off a large section of the paper because it was just too much. The binder strip performed well by holding the blunt together with no glue taste. When lighting the blunt I noticed that it burned very even and straight. One problem with some blunt wraps I have tried is an uneven burn. This was not the case with the Royal Blunts.

They did however have a downside. Royal Blunts seem to burn very quick. Any time I’d set the blunt down for a second it would burn about a quarter inch. The taste was so-so. I did not get the chemical taste I was expecting but I didn’t really taste the mango either. Usually that’s a good thing but for some reason the tobacco taste was very overpowering and harsh which masked the flavor of the marijuana.

Royal Blunts are an okay wrap. They burn a bit fast, are a tad on the harsh side, and only include 1 wrap. For me the cons outweigh the pros. There are too many other options available that vastly outperform Royal Blunts. This is a brand I will probably steer clear from in the future.  –drewzilla484

I am not a blunt smoker at all. In fact I have never even tried one. But let me tell you should I ever get a wild hair and decide to give blunts a try, Royal Blunts are probably not the wrap I will be using. Thanks for the heads up drewzilla484.  –Chubbs
