I think we are all familiar with Kali Mist (spelled with a “K”). darling.nicki made a note to point out that her dispensary spelled this strain differently and judging from looks alone, it seems very different from Kali Mist that we have seen. Take a look:

Looks: Vibrant green buds covered in tiny crystals overcome by massive amounts of bright orange hairs that extend far beyond the bud itself. Hairy monster weed. I have never seen as many hairs or larger hairs on any other bud! Big ol’ fluffy, sparse nugs.
This particular batch appears to have been poorly manicured and possibly needed another day or two to dry, as you’ll see larger scraggly green leaves that remain on the buds and they retain quite a bit of moisture (but smoke great). Any imperfections, however, don’t change the fact that this is an incredible strain of medical marijuana with fun effects.
Smell: Fresh, earthy, sweet and citrusy all at the same time. The aroma is pretty distinct . When I stick my nose in my jar of Cali Mist and inhale deeply the result is always a big sigh of happiness, a s^*t-eating grin that instantaneously expands across my face and a strong desire to get down to tokin’!
Taste: Fresh, sweet and subtle. It tastes just like it smells – earthy with citrus undertones.
Buzz Type: Light, happy and whimsical! Introspective, especially when you can quietly observe your surroundings and just let your mind run.
This is not a super-charged mind gripping sativa like Super Silver Haze. Instead it serves up a very laid back yet on point mind – a head that’s spacey yet stimulated in a way that’s different from most other strains. Mild but delightful body high. The overall buzz is medium in strength unless you smoke extra for a stronger effect.
Buzz Length: Medium. I’d say it lasts an hour or so but it all depends on how much you smoke.
Overall: This is a fantastic everyday strain that’s perfect for any time of day. It’s a light, smooth, pleasant smoke. Cali Mist brightens my day, puts me in a great mood and mindset, and allows me to be productive AND blazed! On the other hand, I can also get way baked and just veg out if that’s what I’m in the mood for. That’s why it’s one of my favorite strains.
The relaxing nature of this strain may be relieving for mild to medium pain, like muscle pain, especially if you want to retain a functional mind. It’s also fantastic for anxiety and depression. It doesn’t inhibit sleep for me, despite the fact it’s a sativa, so it’s great for morning, noon and nighttime enjoyment.
Buzz Report: An airy head change complimented by pervasive clarity of thought — a trip in itself. That’s what I like most about this strain. The body high is subtle and relaxing, which perfectly suits the complexity of the head trip. It can make life seem like a movie montage when put to some groovy tunes, so throw on your favorite upbeat CD and enjoy! -darling.nicki

Honestly looks can be deceiving, i smoked the exact same thing about 2 weeks ago and it was an interesting high. I tend to put all my weed into air tight jars and in the time i spent taking it in and out of the jar alone the potency of it would change, as the bud it self got more crispy , the smoke would become more of an energetic smoke, more thick aswell.
I Dont believe this is an A- but i can most likely say its a B to a B+

yeah Sativas should be “more airy” but even for a sativa that stuff looks to have been pulled early. if that can get $175 a half in Cali, i need to move there and become a very rich man. lol i could grow stuff that would look like that with 3 weeks of flowering. looks so terrible. but looks can be deceiving, the best bud i ever smoked didnt look so great, but at least it was tight as hell. i dont live in cali, and i dont have access to all the strains you do, but im a grower. and thats early. several weeks at least. even for a sativa. you got ROBBED. $175 for immature bud. even early shit can have a good smell and taste. no wonder the buzz was not that strong and it didnt last long because all the trichome heads were probably still clear. which means they were not fully developed. sorry to see such robbery on your behalf.
Disclaimer! Yeah, that bud looks like crap, I know. The crazy hairs were a sight to see. Nonetheless I actually really enjoyed the smoke at the time. Keep in mind though, I wrote this review a VERY long time ago and was still in the early stages of having my recommendation. Knowing what I know now, I’d give this a B rating (and most likely never would have written a review of it). As for the price, yeah I’d never pay that much for that quality now. When this review was written there was only a small fraction of the dispensaries there are now and this was from a new dispensary I tried out.
The best thing about this review, for me, is knowing how much extremely better quality bud I smoke now!!!

too bad there werent more upclose pictures to really see it good. aside from the bud, great detail on the review d.nicki there was definitely some thought put into this one. its a review site, so it’s not like everything has to be bomb, cause that’s not a realistic representation of the market (**Unfortunately**)

Looks like it got seriously deprived of a good light and phosphorus while finishing… the buzz seems to be plausible to the fact that it might of been picked super early as well; a light pure THC high as the other cannabinoids would not be present really at all..
Once had to finish a Power Skunk without anything but natural light in my bedroom aha.. (to ze novice growers – keep an extra bulb) looked identical to this by the time I said fuck it. Made some pretty buzzin cake tho.

I really think it’s important to review other weed then just the top stuff from dispensaries, as we don’t always have the choice of having best for every single session but still want to get our money’s worth.
I’m getting a pretty good laugh at all these people saying this bud looks bad. For one thing this strain is 90% sativa, so you can’t expect dense fat indica nuggets. Second the trim job is horrible and you can’t even see the bud. If the leaves were removed and a closer picture was taken with some calyxes and trichs visible you wouldn’t even be able to identify it as the same strain. You would all just be commenting on how covered in resin it is. Remember boys, never judge a book by it’s cover. Some of the worlds best sativas look weak just because they’re airy and fluffy, but the high will knock your socks off. This strain is on my to smoke list when I go to Amsterdam in January, and I know Dampkrings version will look nothing like this poorly trimmed example.

Yes I agree…but…jack herer,purple kush,hogs breath, are all over 90% sativa and are super dense buds..being a Sativa does not always proclaim it to be airy fluffy nugs. Almost all Sativa’s I get maybe 50% of my buy are Sativas are all dense nugs. Never judge a book by its cover, but you can get a pretty good idea what you in for from the get go
